Arena: A simple grass field
Just what I said - I wide, grassy plain under neath a clear, cloudless sky. A few rocks poke up here and there; a small hill rises up not far away, but other than that, nothing too spectacular or noteworthy.

Explosion - Explosion - Explosion
We're here on a lovely grass meadow just west of Ecruteak City, where two Trainers - Spike, the Elite Trainer, and Andrew, the Moderator, stepped up and prepared for a battle. Releasing a Bulbasaur named Roses and a Misdreavus named OzMissy (respectively), the 2 stared each other down, ready to fight. Kind-hearted Blademaster, always happy to help those in need, agreed to serve as a referee. Aren't you all lucky to have him around?
The Sun is shining down as Andrew recalls his fallen Misdreavus and sends out a new Pokemon: a Weezing named OzWheez.
Both Trainers shout their commands; OzWheez and Roses nod and face each other...
Roses starts the round off by conjuring an orb of white light within her bulb, which she focuses and blasts into the sky, searing the air and dispersing the rainclouds above the field, allowing the sun to shine through once again...
Roses starts off the round by closing her eyes and focusing, a glassy shield of pinkish light appearing in front of her.
Meanwhile, OzWheez's body glows a bright red, and then, in a flash of light, the Weezing seems to explode! Violent shockwaves lash outward from the source of the blast, followed by a rippling wave of fiery energy mixed with a deafening roar as the blast surges forward, engulfing Roses and searing her body. The Bulbasaur cries out as waves of sound, fire, and sound again rip through her Light Screen, shattering it instantly and sending Roses flying back twenty feet!
When the blast finally subsides and the dust clears, OzWheez is laying on the ground, charred black and utterly wiped out.
Roses isn't faring much better - she's been scorched and badly beaten, but she's still conscious. She gets up slowly...
And then she coughs up a bit of smoke and smiles, pleased with her victory.
