Doug pobbles out of the ground again, smiling, as the ghost haunts over precariously. Seeing no resistance being done, Fantasma releases a bath of waves that wash over and nullify all of Dough's senses. He falls asleep almost immediately.

The little nuggetmon rocks back and forth for a bit, obviously unable to control its own strength. Fantasma watches gleefully as the Diglett tries to Slash at it...(how?)

With peace that this will be the end of the little monstrosity, Fantasma starts to grab at Doug's dreams of burrowing, causing cave-ins in his world. But Doug's a fighter. He quickly pre-empted the whole thing by shooting to the surface and Punching through.

This translated in real life to Fantasma being Sucker Punched pretty hard. But Doug's fight seemed to be over.

Recalling that lil dirty boi, Ayeun reaches into her grab bag of tricks and releases Midnight. The Umbreon smiles coyly, before splitting up into a series of dog/cat/foxes, leaving Fantasma unimpressed currently.

Fantasma keeps floating around, looking at the Umbreon pack as they all suddenly flick Dirt toward her. But it doesn't go high enough.

Having felt like she gained enough energy, Fantasma looked back down to see that Umbreon was gone. All of them. She sneered, this could only me-yeah! Struck by all 4 of the pups, she spiralled down, but tried to latch onto the last one landing. Her body synched with the Umbreon and that nourishment...never came. O crap-that was a clone.

The Umbreons left standing all focused their attention to the ghost that really was lasting too long for their liking. Fantasma decided to play her cards right and forced some of her own life force into a Substitute.

Nope. Not the right card to play. A Sub that was meant for her was taken hostage and used for the offending team by the Umbreon horde. she hissed, upset over the thievery!

Still unsure which one to hit, Fantasma forced all the remainng energy she had into a sphere of glowing earthy anguish, and flung it. It curved in flight and slammed the sub. As the Sub rocked in place, almost demolished, Midnight and his crew began to sing out in disappointment. This weird flaxation of notes Tormented Fantasma, she just wanted them to stop!

Fantasma tried to rally another sphere...but she seemed to lack the energy to do so. Even if she could have, that Torment would have prevented it. She floated in peace, as Midnight walked over to her, with his posse, and fired off a powerful hit that seemed a bit stronger than usual!

Glad for that dual protection, Midnight just glares at Sparky, hoping to intimidate him. Well with two and a crumpled third of en Eeveeloution Leering you, its hard not to. Sparky tenses up, chills running through his muscles, but he still lunges. Completely misses though.

Midnight quietly sets up for another round of anarchy, sticking her paw in the mud. She plays with it momentarily before flicking it at the pup. But the firehound is faster for once and bounds away from it. Midnight looks and notices the 4 Houndours staring down at her and her clone. Crap.

Midnight seems unphazed still and takes advantage of the arena a bit, running through the grass. The Houndours follow, charging up a ball of light in the sky. Midnight stops and ambushes one clone, slapping it with her tail, as the Solarbeam shoots off, and obliterates her Sub finally.

The clone fades away, slightly irritating her.

Still with "some" protection, Midnight tries a Mud-Slap again. But a whizzing sounds makes both her and her clone tense up. the Solarbeam fired again? But it went barely over their heady. Seems his accuracy is still messed.

Turning back to the clone she spotted, she flicked again. And it disappeared! ARGH! The real Sparky, now one of two bounded into view, and then darted off again.

In this grassy part of the savannah, Midnight decides to take a reprieve from chasing Sparky. Sparky however, turns the tables and begins sniffing the grasses around him. He picks up her scent, and quietly pads his way right to the clone shifting Pokemon. Glad he found her, he backs away, Midnight none the wiser.

Midnight-seeing no real danger, hunkered down for the moment. Right after she hunkered down, a deep burning smell flared in her nostrils. She looked up to watch a huge swath of fire fall upon her. Freaked out she jumped form her place and ran through the field smoldering.

Sparky watched and gave chase, his clone flanking Midnight to freak her out. Trying to relax was out of the question now and Midnight just tried to escape. But you can't really escape fire. It engulfed her once more and she sprawled into a clearing atop a few large rocks. Sparky and his clone both padded out of the long grass snarling.

Midnight didn't like how this was working out so much. This dog gained the upper hand in the sunlight-and she needed to fix the status quo. So, as Sparky came close to her snarling, Midnight fired off a Beam of intense brightness. The pup didn't move.

Damnit, she hit the clone! Sparky sneered, and barked, releasing a putrid mass that slammed into her face. Midnight yelped back and tried to retreat into the grass, but Sparky gave chase

Midnight removed most of the poisonous stuff from her face and quickly began to dig. She heard fire crackling behind her, but she quickly evaded the flames as they shot over her hole, heating the ground a bit behind her.

The sun going down now, Sparky stood close to where Midnight dug away and sniffed around. He still had her scent, but it was coming from underneath. He snarled and waited until he got a deep whiff of it coming from the left, He turned, and was tackled fro the right as Midnight burrowed free. But Sparky was not to be outdone, and vanished in a split second-along with his clone.

Only Sparky returned, slamming into Midnight hard.

Damn them! She backed away from the 5 Houndours and quickly made tracks to Dig again But Sparky didn't give chase. His pack and him just settled on the ground, in a circle. She'd have to come up sometime.

Midnight burrowed furiously, not going out like this. But her intentions were not to be rewarded with success. She flushed up and out of the ground, only to sear through a clone. Since they were in a ring formation, Midnights appearance was easy to calculate and retaliate.

Whoa, a glowing ring of Fire blasted from the Houndours, searing Midnight and part of the arena. Ow.

Midnight smirked though, as she felt a burn take a hold on her leg. Her rings glowed, and then Sparky felt a searing pain on his rump as well! Oh crap!

Midnight regains her footing and bares her teeth, This was not going down like this. As the Sparkys came closer, she resumed running, but Sparky noted she ran off in 4 directions at once. Oh not this again. Not falling for HER shit, he sniffed her out, and took the trail to the middle west.

She thought she got away. Hearing stalks of grass bend nearby made her caution, but the flames that shot up on all sides of her freaked her out. She padded backwards from the flames and ran for the only Sparky she saw. But the flame wall followed her as she crashed into Sparky-zapping his clone away.

Sparky howls, and sneers as the Heat Wave enhances the Fire Spin for a lil while. But ironically, the Spin dies out, and there lies Midnight.

She flinches in surprise, and stands up, as Sparky stares. Why was this wide load ALIVE!

Midnight barked, but she lacked the energy to fight back. Sparky took full advantage of this, and ran directly into her with a hefty Facade of energy. Midnight flew into the thicker grass, pained from all the recent damage she received. She stayed down, as Sparky realized he was now spent as well.

Feeling refreshed in this savannah. Midnight looks at the downed Sparky, and smirks. She knows there's hardly anything left in her battered body, and as a parting series of gifts, she kicks Mud in Sparky's face. He whimpers, already plotting nasty things against her.

Midnight continued to do this, pissing off Sparky even more. The pup regained his footing, and watched as Midnight hopped around -having toomuch fun with this Mud-Slap option.

Midnight went for a third Slap and got it, along with a gliding pup. She froze as Sparky dove over her, mistiming his jump completely, and crashing in the thicker weeds of the savanna again. Guess all that Mud did blind him.

As the savannah claims another life, Ayeun decides to bring out the heavy hitter. Out comes Bella, ready to show that fiery pup who's boss. Sparky doesn't seem to care, as he sits down and watches Bella just stare at him. Her big eyes are slightly unnerving though..

She takes a moment to assess the dryness of the arena, beofre forcing aquifers to bend to her will One such hidden spring surges up and she thrusts it forth at the pup. Sparky moves left and right as fast as he can, and avoids complete annihilation. Only one other clone does as well.

Seeing Bella a bit better now, Sparky runs in, ready to deal some damage once again. But Bella laughs. Sparky has the right area, but he can't seem to gauge distance quite well enough yet. he chomped down on some tufts of grass a foot in front of her tail.

Spitting those out, Sparky found that his clone and him were the recipients of a sweeping arc of a Tail. It made his body shiver-that damn water element.

Use Sunny Day to limit the power of that thing's water attacks. Fire off a Solarbeam if possible. If she blocks the sun with another weather-inducing move, sub in Swift. While you're at it, make that your third move.

By the way, since DarkestLight is taking a siesta, what happens with matches he's reffing while he's gone? Does someone else take over, or will this match be put on hold until he returns?
