Battleready Lateral Interstellar Template Zone
The arena is in the vast expanse of an alien planet of decaying ruins and broken, abandoned cities. Stuck in a state of constant and erratic polar shift, the planet is turbulent and unpredictable, and thus there is only one safe place to battle: the sky.
There is no specific Gym arena: The entire atmosphere is free to use. Both Pokemon battle from atop magnetic platforms that can alter in size from tiny plate-sized objects capable of holding a Caterpie, to fifty-foot dais that can support a Wailord. These platforms act as magnets to their riders, so there is no danger of being knocked off of them.
It is recommended that you use stick with special attacks during this battle: Using physical attacks require the crafts to burn much energy moving around as well as crash into one another. This will eventually cause them to lose altitude and crash, resulting in an automatic KO.
It is also recommended that you watch your altitude: Drop too low and you could get Confused by the magnetic waves of the ground below. Conversely, ascending too high could cause Freezing by the frigid upper atmosphere.
Banned moves: Moves that require the land or sea (Surf, Fissure, Earthquake, Waterfall, etc.). Rock attacks are usable thanks to the ruins below.
Altered moves: Sunny Day (The turbulent magnetosphere sometimes allows unfiltered sunlight to break through. Can cause Burns. Ever see the Golden Gate Bridge scene in The Core? It's kinda like that.) and Rain Dance (Magneticism = electricity. Starting a Rain Dance will cause rain as usual, but it will also cause superstorm-level lightning. If you see it moving towards you, you better watch out!)

The Pokemon continue on their quest for superiority. Dorrie glooked to the sky, and risks it all, but calls for the rain to fall. While that occurs, Ivy wastes no energy in creating a thick veil of magic that will nullify any trickery Dorrie has planned.
Once again, the clouds come and start the deadly rainfall, but those clouds are awfully thick.

The disc Dorrie was on began to whirl , anticipating what Dorrie was about to do. As one, both Pokemon and device zipped and sped over toward Ivy. Ivy wasn't ready for the drastic increase in speed, but she kept her calm, growing an Energy Ball from atop her Bulb.
She swatted it at Dorrie with her vines, but the sphere rocketed to the left as Dorrie zipped past it...glowing with a strange ambiance right for Ivy.
Dorr: -3E +2 Spd ===//=== Ivy: -6E
Sad that the sphere missed, Ivy began to whistle. Yipe. Dorrie got in danged close and fired an ice Beam at point blank range. The Planimal went flipping backwards, completely choked up by the invasive attack. She was positive her liver was frozen. But she recovered, disc humming with energy still. Dorrie's though...seemed a bit slower due to the heightened energy output.
Thunderclaps could be hear from above, but both had done nothing to upset the clouds...yet.

Dorrie is fast. Maybe a bit too fast, as Ivy can attest to. Dorrie calls forth a Blizzard storm to stream from the bright upper atmosphere. Ivy gathers as much sunlight from her bulb, as she's blanketed by the attack, forcing her down into the lower atmosphere.
But she bobs back up, with a small sugar replica of herselfYay for photosynthesis.
Dorr: -10E ===//=== Ivy: -7E/-30H Sub: 10
Dorrie stared. What the hell was that? She really seemed perplexed, and wanted it gone. SO... with a deep breath and critical aim, she fired off a pinpoint Dragon Pulse that slammed the Substitute and shattered it like confetti. But a leg remained.
The distraction was all Ivy needed to siphon some health back. Tricky little Ivy here.
Dorr: -6E/-10H ===//=== Ivy: -7E/+5H Sub: 1
Dorrie was damned angry her Pulse didn't outright destroy that Sub, so she tried again. This time with an Ice Beam. The beam ripped through the Sub, and that part of the Disc, as Ivy precariously held onto the disc with her vines on the other side. She siphoned again, leaving Dorr a lil weaker than before.

Not worried about no stupid seeds, Thunderhand went in close to fire a high intensity Flamethrower. Ivy freaked, and moved her disc out of the flames, after she'd been roasted partially. That hurt a hell of alot. However, she forced out a consecutive sequence of dust spores, one of which T-Hand inhaled.
Tasted like dry basil...with a hint of excrement..
Hand: -8E Psn ===//=== Ivy: -3E/-16H
Feeling that this should be the end of the little runt, Thunderhand goes for a double handed Psychic blast. Ivy tries to create something to flick at Hand, but the Psychic waves knock her off the platform-which doesn't follow to get her. Yeah she's a goner.
Hand: -8E ===//=== Ivy: -.- -16H
The Hail struck Hand (2)...as did the seeds(3)...and the poison (2). Even now Ivy was fighting..

Go Remy, my male Sandshrew!
Sandstorm first. Swords Dance. Safegaurd.
If taunted,call down earth from the ruins below with Earth Power. Then Night Slash. finish with Mud Shot
Thunderhand, wash that Sandstorm away with Rain Dance. Then use Thunderbolt. I'm curious to see what electricity does to a WET Ground Pokemon.
If Thunderbolt hurts him, follow up with Thunder. If it didn't work, move in and slam him with an Ice Punch.

CODENAME: B.L.I.T.Z.

===Round 16===
Glad to be rid of the damned plant, Thunderhands clams heartily. But out from the wily mind of Darth comes Thunderhands' newest opponent. A happy cordial Sandshrew bows and whizzes into view thanks to that levitating platform. It then throws its hands up, and the ruins burst forth a huge tonnage of Sand to blind them both momentarily.
Thunderhand winces, and then claps summore, each clap reminiscent of Thunder. Soon, those clouds roll in and begin to savagely beat the sand away. Remy hissed, that wasn't cool. Wasn't cool with the odd thunder strikes coming down involuntarily though too.
Hand: -4E ===//=== Remy: -4E
Forcing a Thunderbolt to come from the heavens was pretty simple, ass Thunderhand had to do was raise his...hand. One came searing from the sky almost as if from his command and struck Remy dead on. Being as how Remy was a Ground type, even with water-the best the electricity could do was give him an unnatural glow and a sizzling sensation that was more visual than anything else.
Remy frowned upon being used as a nullified by choice, and used the platform to float round, raising his prowess.
Hand: -7E ===//=== Remy: -3E +2 Atk
Hand huffed, he was kinda hoping for something. But no matter. He' just move in close now. Remy was dancing about, trying to create some sort of energy structure to veil his body, when he was sucker punched in the gut. However, Blade's disc began to malfunction. Lots of in close movements kept making the disc collide and Blade's was under heavy strain.
Remy wheezed and moved back carefully all while completing his Safeguard. Damn that was cold.

You forgot to add the damage Thunderhand took from Poison and Leech Seed, Darkly.
Thunderhand, use Psychic to fling that rat into the stratosphere. Then blast him with Hidden Power. Finish with Focus Blast.
Okay, Substitute. Then Rock SLide him so hard that he gets knocked right into the lower atmosphere so he gets confused. Finish With Crush Claw.
Thanks for that. Added stress has me tired...

===Round 17===
Thunderhand , though on a wobbly disc, decides that getting up close and personal-while fun-was too risky. He didn't wanna get in any more danger than necessary. So he clapped, in rhythmic timing with the thunderclouds above, and used his Psychic Ability to grab ahold of the spinning sandshrew. Remy was paused mid-Substitute, and flung skyward, without the disc!
Blustery cold winds blasted at him, and lightning went after the spherical Pokemon, but Remy came back down right onto the disc. The disc dipped quite a bit, into the lower areas, but flew back up, leaving a very tired and chilled rodentball. He unfurled, revealing his back was stuck in a haunched over shape, damn ice!
No matter. He needed something to hold his Substitute together with! The ice cracked enough shavings off for him to successfully create one
Hand: -8E ===//=== Remy: -7E/-21H Sub: 11
Hand didn't like the "pair" of Quasimotos, and now aimed a strange cycling of energy at one of them. It fired off, and gained a light aura. Wtf kinda hidden power was that? Flying? Hand looked as perplexed as I as that attack struck the Substitute, but bounced off, leaving a substantial amount.
Besides, he had his own problem. Raising his arms Remy now caused the ruins to lend their help, in the shape of a reverse Rock Slide. Rocks flew Up from below smashing into the disc and consequently knocking 'vire off! Hand fell, into the lower atmosphere, and suffered a nasty bout of confusion, before the disc was able to fly down and catch him, before sparking its way back up. Vire though, didn't look so good.
Hand: -5E/-12H @_@ HP: Fly===//=== Remy: -8E Sub: 5
Upset with how things were going, the confused Electivire began punching the sky and yelling at it. Yeah he was confused. Remy like. Still hunched over, Remy nudged his disc over to the fist pumping Italian pokemon and slammed an arm on his foot, claws crushing his toesies. Vire roared and both tail nodules went skyward. Awkward moment here, a stray bolt of lightning came raining down and struck Thunderhand!
Remy backed away, but this seemed to give Hand a second wind. He's glowing. Watch out now.

I'm sorry.

I'm sorry, but I am having WAY too much fun to just stop now.
Thunderhand! Relax for a second. Then when he comes at you for an attack, cut him off by slugging him across the face with an Ice Punch. Then ground him with a point-blank Hyper Beam!

===Round 18===
The battle continues on. Thundehand watches as the dark clouds start to fade away. Some look like monkeys, some look like tumbleweeds..and one even looked like a Sandshrew dancing around over his head. No wait, that was that Sandshrew...the hell was it doing now? Thunderhand looked on with a sense of aggravation.
Hand: +6E ===//=== Remy: -3E +2 Atk Sub: 5
Remy smirked, thinking he had a distinct advantage. Zipping down on his disc, the Sandshrew got to withing swinging distance, making sure he disc didn't hit the other Pokemon's platform. However Thunder was quicker on the draw, and as the rain clouds cleared away, Sandshrew's SUB went spinning to the right from a speedy Ice Punch.
Remy laughed and went in for that Crush Claw, giving Thunderhand a nasty scar across his face and upper chest. Thunderhand winced as well, slightly miffed that he fell for that.
Hand: -6E/-11H ===//=== Remy: -5E
Thunderhand wasn't having anymore of that, and he opened his mouth, revealing a massive ball of light. Remy was still in close though and slashed upward, delivering a nasty dark laden Slash right before him and his disc went flying away into the stratosphere. Yeah its gonna be a cold trip back.
