Target glared at the metal disc Pokemon for a moment, before being crunched by stones. Target took the blow, but dug deeper into the ground, heading right for Alec. Alec stared at the Rock Tomb, sensing something not right.

T: -3E/-6H ~~ A: -5E

Alec grunted and readied his fists. But Target had the speed on his side. Bursting out the ground, he rammed his body into the outstretched mallethand, and forced Alec to flip backwards. Alec used the momentum to slam backwards, unleashing the Earthquake and send Target flying.

T: -3E/-11H ~~ A: -9E/-12H

Target flipped backwards and lands on his feet, staring at...the incoming blue streak. Alec speeds upward, and a Psychic force slams Target face first into the ground. But Target fights the force, and manages to jump backwards and up, firing a Flamethrower that wraps all around Alec.

Alec blasts backwards, singed.

Hardison felt it was time to get serious against this pipsqueak, and shot upward before speeding toward the Sentret. It seemed like a backwards idea, until Hardison performed a barrel roll, creating a funnel of sorts that squished itself together into a screen-a Screen that welcomed a Charged Beam of electricity into its nexus, dampening the blow Hardison subsequently received.

Pleased with the field, Alec watched as the rodent bounded left and right, before going for its second attack, this one a fiery burst of anger. Alec didn't like that too much and stood behind its shield, gladly taking a weakened blow. When the flames died down, Alec swooped down and punched Target in his chest, forcing the Sentret skyward....

..and then shoots up to finish the blow. Both hands extend and ram into Tasrget multiple times before double fist slamming him into the ground, Ala a meteor. Target barely dug itself out of its crater, and weakly flung a Charged bolt again, hoping for a pure strike. Nope, rattled agaisnt that damn buffer.

Target knew that Alec was trying for a kill shot. His hands were sideways for pete's sake. But try as he might, the little rodent had to wait until Alec was in striking range. Hard to do when your foe blasts you with what seems to be energy from the air itself, invisble forces that knock and beat you so hard it feels like your innards are about to blow everywhere.

Alec hovered low enough though, so Target could fling himself up on his back and regain his footing, before beating and kicking and punching at the disc, shattering that screen.

Shaking and flipping in midair caused Target to fall toward the ground. Alec revolved once again and this time threw rocks after the Sentret. But Target dove for the ground as if it was a pool, digging into it like a Drillbur and vanishing before the rocks hit.

>.> The heck was that rodent? Alec turned around slowly, making sure to scrutinize every possible outcome. Sucks though when there's that one spot you know you should check, even though you checked it once. Yeah, that's where Target shot from, bashing Alec's underbelly and bouncing away with a lump on his head for it.

Alec tries to reach up...but fell, making a rattling sound as he ...keeps rattling...and rattling OMFG stop I hate that sound!

Pained but determined, Target was surprised to see another small furry Normal Pokemon enter the fray, and get attacked by random rocks (3). Hades though, wasn't surprised, and barked loudly at Target, before Digging. Knowing that would be annoying, Target dashed for the Eevee. No go, as Target dove for the mound of dirt, striking it everywhere.

Somewhere in this town, that Eevee was plotting...waiting.

Target looked around, but still no Hades. Staring carefully at the ground, there was a moment of ripples, and then Target was felled backwards by a upheaval of stone and dirt. Hades landed a foot away, close enough for Traget to dash forward and Headbutt the chump in his side.

Blow for blow they seemed even, but Hades had health on his side. That was rectified as Target lunged onto the Eevee and punched him in the back. Hades legs gave out for a moment, and the Eevee slumped down.

Hades smashed the annoying Target away with a wave of his now solidified tail.

Hades didn't think about its orders. It just reacted, swift feet launching its small body at the kindred type. But the Sentret has a different idea. One hand was puled back amassing powerful energy. The other was held out, creating a weaker Protective barrier that gave way after the Quick Attack hit. As Hades rebounded on his feet Sentret dove forth and clobbered him with the full force of that punch leaving Hades dazed.

Uncool. Hades lied there, sprawled out for a few moments-Target right next to him. They both seemed to be enjoying themselves, despite the pain each felt. Hades however rose up first, and walked over to the ring tailed foe, before Headbutting him in the back.

Hades smirked, glad to see that the small plains dweller had left his sight. But there was always a new challenge. Something to strive for. Hades's came in the form of a slithering serpent with a round nose. A little taken back by this new Pokemon, Hades was quick to throw a few flecks of Mud at its face.

Drasent however, was none too bothered by the splattering of dirt on her body-or of the stones pelting her undercarriage (3), as she slammed home with a Dragonbreath that quickly enveloped Hades in its mystical properties.

Surviving the first hit was always crucial, and Hades was glad that hit didn't have any more weird power behind it. Drasent though, didn't need it. A blast of energy sent the serpent reeling toward Hades..and then flailing past. Little overzealous goes a long way.

Hades quietly quelled up energy, and let it loose, but what she wished for, wasn't chilling nor mystical. It was rather...serene, like wisps of air.

Drasent recovered from her little tirade, puling herself off the the side of the building to the west. She turned back to Hades and began slithering in a circle. Slowly but surely she built a rhythm, even as Hades approached.

Even as Hades barreled forth, she kept her body pumping, juices flowing. The connecting Eevee was sure powerful, but she took the hit, rolling northwest into the fence. When she recovered, she was all the better for it.

Not with it at all. That was the mindset of Drasent as Hades tried to flick some more mud in his face. Unlike last time, Drasent was quicker to react and swiftly slid past the projectile. It splattered on the ground nearby, and Hades found himself facing a souped up Pokemon.

Not particularly fond of the situation, Hades looked to the skies of Mauville and prayed for guidance. A divine light shot into the air, and twinkled. Hades glanced at the field, and saw this weird... I mean weird construction of what used to be a chain link fence, and Drasent laughing at it maniacally.

Glad with his creation, Drasent then spat a globn of Toxic as Hades ran to try and smash his new best friend. The Toxic...hit the ground in front of Hades, causing the Pokemon to slip on it. Hades flew in the air, but turned it around to slam on the Substitute. Not the best of outcomes...but it worked.

Mauville was ripe with Pokemon battling at the moment. Hades, having demolished that faux Drasent now kept his eyes peeled. Good thing he did, cause Drasent sped over and try to claw at his face....with what claws..I'm not too sure...but Hades managed to evade the whipstrikes.

Backing up, Drasent decided that battling outright was not gong to work. Hades thought opposite and rammed into the serpent. Rolling back for a moment, Drasent considered his options...and began to rock in place. It seems this serpent is up to no good.

Hades grunted, and went for a second Return, thinking he was still the faster. But Drasent was playing him for a fool. As Hades got close Drasent moved with lightning speed and power, deliviering a whipcrack that felt like a claw across Hade's left side. Hades fell over, stunned by the power.

It took a moment, before Hades got up and resumed its surge to clobber Drasent. It was nothing like it originally should have been.

Hades knew that the match was going out of his favor. He flipped back and went to try and flick some more mud at the dragon, but Drasent was too fast now. A sweeping wind blasted across the cobbled road, and flung the mud all around, as well as striking Hades backwards.

The Eevee looked very displeased.

Hades recovered from that blast of wind and tried for a push to hamper Drasent. Well that was, after the serpent rushed him with all the force its body could muster (which was alot, considering it's been zipping around like it ate 50 Pixy Stix). Hades and Drasent landed and rolled along teh main pathway, Hades kicking off of Drasent to emphazise his escape and also to make space.

Having only moments to think, Hades decides to flip out completely. Well, Drasent doesn't care, and zips forth, whipping its body all over Hades. Hades falls flat on the ground, staring up at the sky.

Hades down and out, Wolfy was quick to release her next competitor. Bouncing out of someone's yard came Hodges, a mean looking Croagunk with a distinct penchant for fisticuffs. (Rock attack! -3) Drasent has the speed on his side however, shooting off a thin wave of electricity. It encumbers Hodges's upper body, leaving him free to lunge high into the sky. Crazy frog.

D: -2E ~~ H: -3E Par

Drasent watched. What was it doing up there, oh it was coming down now. Oh that's fine. Drasent coled up and sprang upward to meet Hodges The frog kept its form, a flying kick pose that Drasertn flew right into as his body slammed into Hodges. The contact gave Drasent a new meaning of the word pain, as they both slammed into the ground. (-1)

Poisoned, Drasent turns up the pressure and whips his body faster than Hodges can react. A metallic thud was heard before Hodges goes spinning to the ground. He lands on his hands however, and cries out. Ahh. paralysis keeps him pinned for the moment. (-1)

Hodges grunts, and finally pushes out of his plank position, Drasent merely coiling up as all serpents do. Using pure nergy as his focus, he creates a net vacumn that surges with instantaneous movement and cracks Drasent across the jaw. The serpent shakes off the hit and unfurls, leaving behind a nicely shed Skin that seems to have some structure to it.

Pleased to have freed his body of that annoying poison, Dreasent goes zipping off into the distance. Hodges doesn't notice, instead focusing on the brittle Substitute. One Punch sends it to pieces, and Hodges realizes he's been duped.

The blue blur slams into Hodges and knocks him back with an extreme amount of force. Hodges lands on his back, pained.

Drasent takes a breather...he's almost wiped. Not feeling any muscle atrophy, Hodges quickly takes the lull in Drasent's movement and layers rock after rock atop this crazy dragon! Drasent broods in the darkness...

Hodges still can move. Luck is on his side, even as he's pummeled by the incoming twister filled with rocks that freed Drasent from his hole. Lying under their weight. Hodges just punches the ground repeteadly. The force fof the shockwaves finally put Drasent down for the count.
