Huh, I swore that Mienshao could learn the elemental punches. Guess I'm screwed.

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    ‡ Round 11 ‡

The final match-up of our battle begins after two blistering battles in which Destiny Bond ended things for both competitors. For the final pairing, the challenger sends out a long-armed mammalian fighter while the Gym Leader goes for a cackling specter that emerges out of a cracked keystone. Right off the bat, Skulli babbles something about how Spiritombs are an easy win for even the most braindead battler… which gets Bloody Mary’s blood boiling. She retaliates with a sudden surge of Psychic energy which throws Skulli onto a charred patch of earth.

Suddenly, lightning strikes and punishes the Mienshao further.

    Bloody Mary: <-7 EP; Tnt>
Skulli: <-14 HP; -10 HP from stage hazard; -6 EP>

Having found herself on the receiving end of a Psychic-type attack, Skulli now does a little spin on the spot and creates a series of clones—three to be exact. Bloody Mary takes aim with a Shadow Ball, but the attack merely whips through one of the illusory Mienshaos. Skulli and her clone armada all put their hands on their hips, smirking.

    Bloody Mary: <-6 EP>
    Skulli: <-6 EP; 2 clones>

Skulli tries to take a swing at Bloody Mary with a ThunderPunch… but, um, how does that move work again? She scratches her head but simply cannot seem to figure the technique out. Since she’s a sitting duck, Mary decides to take aim with a second Shadow Ball and once again can only seem to take out a clone. Oh, bother.

A flash of lightning descends from the sky and electrocutes Bloody Mary this time, causing the Spiritomb to wince.

Bloody Mary: <-10 HP from stage hazard; -6 EP>
    Skulli: <1 clone>

    ‡ Post-Round ‡

    Upcoming Field:

Bug Field: Hives of the Mirashi Wasps
A gigantic bee hive with hexagon shaped holes in the walls all dripping with honey. There is a possibility that a swarm of bees will blanket the field and cause Bug type damage to both combatants. There is some honey on the floor as well this is extremely sticky but can be removed by shaking wildly.
    Attacks powered up: Bug
    Attacks weakened: Dragon

Keep up with the Psychic barrage, if it Double Teams swap out for Shock Wave.

Let's use Bounce to dodge the first Psychic, then come down for a hit! Then use U-turn to jump over any Psychic attacks that may come your way and attack Bloody.

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    ‡ Round 12 ‡

Skulli and her clone exchange knowing looks and peer back at their foe, staring the Spiritomb down. As Bloody Mary releases a bevy of Psychic waves in an attempt to overcome her foe, Skulli and the Mienshao clone wait until the last second before shaking free of the honey and Bouncing into the air. The golden honey gives a splash as Bloody Mary’s psionic waves collide with the ground. From way up in the air, Skulli blows her foe a raspberry. Sucker!

    Bloody Mary: <-7 EP>
    Skulli: <1 clone>

Gravity soon does what gravity does best as Skulli and her clone come whizzing down from the ceiling of the hive. Only the actual Skulli delivers the hit, channeling the downward momentum into a full-bodied tackle that causes the ghostie to wail in rage. Infuriated, Bloody Mary takes a random guess at which could be the real Mienshao… and gets lucky! She uses a Psychic assault to hoist the Skulli back up into the air before letting go. This time, without the ability to control her descent, she falls right through her clone only to land smack-dab on the ground. Ouch.

    Bloody Mary: <-9 HP; -7 EP>
    Skulli: <-14 HP; -9 EP; 0 clones>

Skulli pulls herself up and shakes off the honey. Okay, time to kick a little Spirtomb ass. Once again, she anticipates the next Psychic attack and uses U-Turn to zip right around the rippling waves, lash out with Bug-infused swipe and race back to her initial position. Bloody Mary is left blinking after that rapid whirlwind of movement. The hell?

The wasps strike with an awful buzzing drone and, given their typing, they do a fair bit more damage to Bloody Mary than to Skulli.

Bloody Mary: <-11 HP; -8 HP from stage hazard; -7 EP>
Skulli: <-4 HP from stage hazard; -7 EP>

    ‡ Post-Round ‡

    Upcoming Field:

Ground Field: Labyrinth of the Kualas Minotaur
This labyrinth is almost impossible to solve yet after the many centuries it has stood the walls of it are now very brittle and are on breaking point. The maze has no ceiling to speak of so jumping on the walls to "cheat" is always a possibility.
    Attacks powered up: Ground
    Attacks weakened: Electric

Those walls probably would be good cover from Shock Waves, so Double Team. Then pummel her with 2 Rock Slides!

This is just a theory, but while Bloody herself is spectral, that stone she has does not appear to be. Would in theory a Normal or Fighting attack be capable of working if they target the stone, or would Foresight still be needed? Like how Ground attacks that can be aimed in the air can hit Flying or levitating Pokemon?

Certain Normal and Fighting moves could perhaps be used to move the keystone (and thus Bloody Mary by extension) around, but not to cause damage.

Since CEB is no longer on a leave of absence, I imagine we can get this going again?

Ok since he is expecting a Shockwave, blast through all those clones with a Faint Attack getting him off guard. Then hit her with a blast of Psychics.

    ‡ Pre-Round ‡

    ‡ Round 13 ‡

We now stand within the walls of a tortuous old labyrinth as the next round begins. Skulli, galvanized by the success of her last Double Team, does a little spin and creates three clones who are forced to huddle close to one another within this cramped field. Bloody Mary is unimpressed by this little strategy, however, and merely vanishes. When she reappears, she lashes out at the real Skulli and lands the hit, causing the clones to disappear in one fell swoop.

    Bloody Mary: <-4 EP>
    Skulli: <-8 HP; -6 EP; 0 clones>

Enraged by the loss of her comrades, Skulli summons a surge of rocks to tumble downward from the heavens and pummel Bloody Mary ruthlessly. Wailing from beneath the boulders’ weight, Bloody Mary dispels them with a little Psychic energy and focuses her mental acuity on Skulli. The spook causes her opponent to rise up into the air before slamming her into the labyrinth walls again and again and again.

    Bloody Mary: <-8 HP; -7 EP>
    Skulli: <-14 HP; -8 EP>

Once again, Skulli makes with the rocks and they tumble down upon Bloody Mary without mercy. The Spiritomb tries to bust free from the rocks again, but they seem to have dazed her for the time being.

    Bloody Mary: <-8 HP; Fln>
    Skulli: <-8 EP>

    ‡ Post-Round ‡

    Upcoming Field:

Ice Field: Ice Caves of the Bogra Titans
A cave of pure ice carved in perfect circles like it was done with a machine or a very large animal. Its surface is smooth and will cause near to no friction at all, stalagmites are on the ground beneath while stalactites precariously hang from the ceiling above even the slightest shake might bring them down.
    Attacks powered up: Ice
    Attacks weakened: Rock

Ok lets hit her with a Taunt then 2 more Psychics, if she tries to throw any icicles or some try and hit you then Psychic them back at Skulli.

    Taunt ~ Psychic x2
