With a blur, Razor forces a switch. The dias rotates and instead of incurring any more damage, Obelisk is swapped for Cresendo. In lieu of the switch, Rossy commands the same. Golonya takes center stage, and takes the time to focus up the energy needed to defeat Cresendo....even though she's having a sound sleep.

When she has the energy, Golonya smashes her fist into the sleeping Exploud. Instantly, something overcomes the rocky beast. Hmm, that damn Mummy is spreading faster than STD's in Africa.

Somehow, Cresendo slept through that strike. I think it knocked her unconscious. But Cresendo wasn't down and out-she seemed to be able to still hold on her dream. A dream of finishing first on X-Factor. Hell is Susan Boyle can do it...

Golonya wondered just what kind of dream she was having, as she began to beat up the sleeping beast...until she Flailed. The Flail actually kinda hurt.

Rossy does not like the look of this, and swiftly switches so he can try to capitalize on the situation. Cresendo blinks as Abu comes back into the fray, but flinches at the speed of which it hits her.

Wait..what? So what's she supposed to Counter? Pfft, that was lame! Well, except for the whole Mummy Transfer.

Feeling no need to waste her energy on that wolfy thing, Cresendo hits the shift button herself, and out comes that towering mass of fight! Abusoru goes for a swift head swipe, releasing an extended pink blade that cuts across the giant's chest.

Obelisk retaliates with a massive reel back and swing, but the power seemed lacking. Oh geez Mummy again. Someone kill it with fire, please. Least the punch struck!

Obelisk focused on his inner energies, and raised his hands in an attempt to block any incoming strikes. Nope. A swift set of claws raked his chest. Finally, some success for Abu.

The round starts off with a flash of switches. In no time at all, Cresendo and Bero were back to facing each other. Cresendo opened her mouth and unleashed what she felt was a powerful energy blast. It flew with no restriction, as Bero stood facing the statue, Saluting obediently.

The blast knocked her down, and Bero barely found the strength to stand back up.

Feeling the blessing of the idol she had just saluted, Bero felt it was time to end this charade. With a deep breath, a rapid intake and influx of energy began to build. Cresendo hissed and tried to take out the beast with a massive shout. The Hyper Voice rang through Bero, disabling her from attacking.

Bero felled, Rossymore threw out his next Pokemon. The blue beast formed in swift fashion, and went to work creating a Substitute. However, Cresendo was in no mood to deal with clones. She screamed out something along the lines of it looking like a blue douche for robots.

Yeah, that would piss me off too. The Sub creations topped, and Blockade fumed.

Hrm, funny moment. Before Blockade could surge and attack, Rossy hits the switch command, swiftly rotating to Abu before things gets out of control. Abu comes out in beaming fashion, but Cresendo hightails it out of there as well. In his place, why none other than Obelisk.

Abu fears not, as they now have the stupid same Ability and slashes the golem. In retaliation Obelisk striked with one of those stringy arms, punching Abu right in the face.

Ab: -6E/-12H ~~~ Ob: -6E/-16H

This then turned weird. Because both Pokemon fell under the influence of the Shrine! Abu clapped his appreciation of Obelisk's charm.

This infernal rotation battle is still here! I called it infernal due to the fact that for 3 Pokemon out at a time, it still chugs along at a creepy van pace. As noted, Abu decides its time for Obelisk to sing his swan song, He howls, and before Obelisk could stomp his foot loud and strong enough, out come the waves of energy. From Abu's side. Obelisk wobbles in place, shocked by the forces at hand-But HECK YES he's a champion!

He withstands and lets loose a weaker version of the same move. Not that much weaker.

Ab: -7E/-13H ~~~ Ob: -9E/-14H

Now here's a conundrum. The massive monstrosity hits the button to rotate to Imhotep, but the dias won't move. Damn thing jammed! Abu takes the opportunity to..stand still, as his newfound blessing actually just holds him in place! DIRTY!

Ob slams his full weight on that infernal button, and it unjams, rotating through the crew for three revolutions, before landing on Imhotep. The coffin grins (coffins grin?), and then slightly opens its sarcophagus body. Out stream fireballs. Tiny, insignificant fireballs, that singe Abu. (1)

Then, DL rereads the attacks, and watches as suddenly Abu fires off that Pulse of Energy! Imhotep disapproves, highly!

Ab: -7E Brn ~~~ Im: -3E/-18H

Imhotep isn't quite sure about this hound. It looks winded, and maybe, just maybe its time to escort it to the land of the dead. But Abu is not down and out yet. With one huge effort, it rallies another bolt of energy to slam the coffin down another notch. Imho whips those tendril arms out and literally pull the night over Abu's eyes. In one swipe, the pup was down.

We'll rotate out to Golonya and use her good speed to set up Stealth Rocks, then Earthquake, then a nice Heavy Slam.

With the hexes set, both competitors whip out their choices. Out comes a fast punching foe for Cresendo to contend with. She seems not too pleased about being the cannon fodder, but her body won't allow her much choice. But Ebi is rotated out for Golonya. She roars and starts things off.

Golonya opens with a spattering a shards of stone, littered around the playing field.

With the dias on RL's side covered in these sharp rocky spurs, it seems that Cresendo would be in for a painful surprise. Nope. She stays put, even as the place is rocked all over. The smile on Golonya's face is priceless. She probably thinks this the easiest win for her, ever.

Golonya bends at the knees (more?) and readies to jump, but finds herself in a strange conundrum. She starts spitting out fire! What is that? The flames head toward Cresendo, but she bellows out a massive blast that all but vaporizes the already tiny wisps of flame. This force of unchecked energy strikes Golonya and knocks her on her ass.

For GOOD! Are you kidding me?!?!

No, there she goes. She's up. Ok crazy scary, I thought it was a wrap.

Ebi takes a back seat as Golonya is rotated in...to meet Danae, the newest member of this battle thus far. Golonya already does not like how this bodes, and tries for a powerful Earthquake. Danae however, jumps and uses her aura powers to keep her afloat. Its shaky at best, but as time goes on she'll get it better and better.

MR: 4 act.

As a second earthquake rocks the lands, Danae floats over and lands a consecutive volley of punches on Golonya's hide. But, they lack that certain edge she knows usually comes with such force.

Feeling a bit underwhelmed, Danae simply struggles to understand why this battle is lasting as long as it is. Lo and behold, her mental and physical outburst was enough to pull Golonya out of the battle.
