ya, once I get out of this forest (don't know what I went in there for, anyway. I'm just kind of making things up as I go), I'll start working with everyone else and head back to Nimbasa.

Personality: Reserved. Emotionally distant, Kaze finds himself a bit awkward in large social gatherings. When in close settings, he's very...charismatically blunt.

Region: I was gonna say Orre, but now I wanna be from Almia ! If iz not ok I'll stop being a twerp and say Hoenn, snitches. Mossdeep originally.
Occupation: None. (Wanderer...)
Current Pokémon: Vegemite (Ditto). Only Pokemon left after it all went down. Like him, Vege is very quiet, and really nervous in this critical time in their life. That also allows him to be strong in his transformations, so he doesn't get discovered.

History: --Waiting on something..but for the most part, Kaze was out travelling the Unova region. He heard about some new Darkies, and he wanted to check them out. So he left Mossdeep with only 4 Pokemon.

That was 10 months ago. He had a job, but was terminated from it...and then things went south. Hard. Now, he's been on the street, heartbroken and resentful of everything and everyone. His Pokemon scattered to the four winds-he only wonders if they are searching for him as much as he's searching for them.

Relationships: Growing up on Mossdeep, he was persuaded to like Psychic types. Nope. He had a real affinity for Dark and Ghost types, which was frowned upon. Fell in love with Liza, who reciprocated. Tate kinda hates him, but likes to see his big sis happy.

Other:

The team he had with him on this venture are the only ones I'm really concerned about. All the others, meh, buncha ghosts.

Name: Avery Laidlaw
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Personality: A fiercely compassionate individual, Avery dislikes conflict and tension around him, even to the point of involving himself in affairs that aren't his own just to avoid others getting hurt. He's most definitely an extrovert, having no trouble striking up a conversation with complete strangers. His friendliness, combined with his articulate speech, lends him a great deal of charisma. This enables him to effectively motivate and lead those around him, as well as diffuse friction. Most of all he's irrevocably attached to his companions, so when his friends were torn from him it lit a fire of rage that still burns in his heart. He hides it most of the time, but if you ever strike that nerve there's likely to be an explosion of volcanic proportions...
Appearance: Avery is very tall, standing around 6'2". He has narrow shoulders but a lean, strong frame. His dark brown hair is kept very short, and he wears a well trimmed beard and moustache. He prefers to wear dark blue jeans and a plain black polo shirt, with solid black shoes.

Occupation: Mechanical Engineer for RecovCorp, the Unova branch of Silph Co.
Current Pokémon:
Anji, Nidoran (M) - Anji is the offspring of two of Avery's other pokemon, Shishio the Nidoking and Yumi the Nidoqueen. Anji was just as devastated as Avery was when his parents were taken, so he and Avery have formed an inseparable bond of friendship and loyalty. Anji is a brave and protective little guy, technically being a captured pokemon but doesn't mind living in his ball. He walks alongside Avery whenever he doesn't need to hide from the Plasma grunts.

Izabella, Omanyte (F) - Along with the pokemon centers, the fossil research labs in each region were also shut down, some even being demolished. During a trip to Nimbasa City, Avery went to investigate the old lab at the north end. It was here that he stumbled upon Izabella, a resurrected Omanyte that had buried itself in the mud to hide from the chaos. Avery gave it some food and water, and quickly befriended it. Izabella has now grown very attached to Avery, and follows him wherever he goes. She's easy to hide though, able to hide in deep water or take on the appearance of an ordinary fossil to avoid being caught.

History: Before the takeover, Avery was a project engineer at a manufacturing plant in Castelia City. This plant was one of the main manufacturers of the pokemon healing machines used by town PokeCenters all over the world. When the takeover was beginning to happen, the plant was one of Team Plasma's first targets. Ghetsis himself came to the center and met with the company's president. Not much is known about what was said in the meeting, but the president of RecovCorp resigned that same day after a brief board meeting. The Vice President, who took over for the resigned President, ordered a mandatory leave of absence for all employees for one week, effective immediately. There was much confusion as to what was going on, but all became clear three days later when the plant was burned to the ground by Plasma agents.

Avery, sensing this event as a bad omen, packed up his things and left his apartment in Castelia to go stay with relatives temporarily. However, by the time he reached Opelucid City, Team Plasma had already established their presence there. As he tried to enter town, Avery was approached by several Plasma grunts and asked to surrender his pokeballs. When he refused, the Plasma grunts all threw out their pokemon to attack simultaneously. Despite Avery being an advanced trainer with many strong pokemon, the onslaught of all of the grunts at once eventually overpowered them. After Shishio, Yumi, Weston (his Gyarados) and Elise (his Magnezone) had fainted, the grunts restrained Avery himself and forcibly took his pokeballs from him, except for one small one he had hidden in the heel of his shoe that held little Anji. Avery was then knocked out and left underneath a tree west of the city. He was later awoken by Anji, who had managed to escape his pokeball and was licking Avery's face to rouse him. As he came to his senses, Avery was slowly overcome by a deep sadness and anger at being wrent from his companions. Fortunately his family had not been physically harmed, but the aftereffects of the violent Plasma takeover were apparent everywhere. Avery saw the absolute despair of everyone he came across, as the very balance of the world had been upset by the separation of everyone's pokemon. It was at this moment that Avery vowed to use every ounce of his strength and intelligence to undo the wrong that had been done. He joined an underground resistance movement and began traveling the region, searching for any clues to the whereabouts of his lost companions.
Relationships: None of note, but his Uncle is the president of Silph Co.

Sexy Bear, you were doing so well D: I said on the previous page, Team Plasma hasn't left Unova (yet >>), so Kanto is safe (for now). There's no reason why he couldn't be part of Silph Co. in Unova though. I know it doesn't excist in Unova, but we can pretend! But he'd be a very useful person to have in that respect.

I've got my next post in my head. I'm just really busy this weekend >< And then going to see the bf... So um, I'll be moving this along by Wednesday, but feel free to get closer to the gym if you're far away.

Oh and talk to eachother. That would be fab!

I have a question about RPG'ing. I haven't done an rpg before, so I'd like to know if you have to collaborate with someone (via PM or something) if you're including them in your posts? or do you just write whatever you want (going by what you think their character would do) and hope they roll with it?

BTPoke, I'd say not normally no. Not unless it's some kind of major plot related thing or you're not sure how a character would react. People are pretty good at telling others when they've got their character wrong, so don't be offended if someone does point something out to you.

But in regards to your last post... It just doesn't really tie in with this RPG. It's not that you've done anything wrong, or that it's bad, it's just... You went off on a really rather random tangent. I'll let you keep your new Pokemon, only because you've only got one to start with, but please don't rush into finding any more. The way you're writing is fine though, you can chose the style in which you write (in answer to your question at the end of your post).

I'll tag you in my post (which I promise is coming omg), to get you back with some people
