Grawrr falls, and Oslo finished playing nice. He heaves his next warrior out, and out spins a gleeful Gloom. Roundup continues to spin, releasing a stream of spores at the unassuming fighter. Pants hypes himself up enough, but the light dusting gave him something to scratch at.

Ro: -3E ~~ Pa: -3E +Atk/Def Par

Pantsu pushes through and really shocks Roundup with his perseverance as he manages to swing a fire laden fist. Roundup however, dances around the strike and gains a bit of a boost with it.

Ro: -3E +2 Atk ~~ Pa: -6E

Pantsu groaned, realizing his bad judgment. Moving around so much left him completely vulnerable to the paralysis. He crumbles, as Roundup walks right up and blasts him down with a blast so enigmatic, Roundup doesn't even know how it made it.

Ro: -5E ~~ Pa: -6H Par

A ripple of energy shoots up and morphs both combatants once more. Pants manages to gain a chilling ability, while Roundup starts to spark

Roundup feels off with the new typing but starts up dancing once more. Fearing for his sanity-or at the very least, his dignity if made to dance, Pants lifts up his namesake and also erects a barrier to deter any real urge to jump up and join in.

That's about all the naysaying Pants will state though, as he crumbles with static overelectricity. Seeing nothing coming its way, Roundup just strikes plainly with a punch that really bothers Pants. Man those wonky types...

Pants rolls over and kicks himself out of this paralytic state. But by the time he regains composure-WHAM, there's Roundup with a bunch of flower mass in one hellbent strike. Pants falls to the ground, but manages to slam Roundup's face into the earth as well. Yeowch

With their new types, the battlers try to find some common ground. Pants pulls his stuff together and tries for a biting coalition. But guess who's not being bit today. If you said Roundup (who's name I just now got, took me long enough, the commercial came on XD), you win a Pollen Substitute!

Roundup smirked, still drooling from the side of its mouth.

Ro: -11E/-4H Sub: 4 ~~ Pa: -7E

With that out of the way, Roundup now took to the offensive. Spinning in place, the plant began to germinate! Seeds flew out in a rapid formation, littering the field as Pants dashed through them. In a flash, he vanished, and reappeared, only to be caught off guard as he kicked and spat on a Substitute made completely out of pollen that flew in his face. Blinding! The Seeds that were higher up now rained down, adding misery to company.

A ripple of energy shoots up and morphs both combatants once more. We get a ink blot and a dice for Round, and a ..huh. Ice pick and a flame orb for Pants.

All over this newness, Roundup quickly tries to rid itself of Pantsu's persona. The stuffy plant swings its leafy fist around and manages to strike Pantsu's open palm. Pants fells his life force being sucked away at a heightened pace, but uses that force to pull Roundup to him and judo slam him onto the ground hard. Roundup barely gets in a gasp before a fist slams down, rearranging some internal stuff there.

Ro: -4E/+4H/-22H ~~ Pa: -10E/-8H

Pants struggles to stay balanced, and winds up pulling up his annoying ass pants in order to avoid falling over. Roundup scrambles to his feet and quickly throws out another power from its bulb. It's indiscernible, but all the flailing in the world won't help Pants counter that. In fact, it kinda just seemed to make Pants feel worse. So Pants really just ends up slamming back down onto Roundup-but you can see the body cramp up as he rolls off. Ooh that's not gonna be pretty for next round.

Ro: -5E/-14H ~~ Pa: -6E/-7H

Roundup smirks. Pants is completely immobilized, as can be seen by the downed pants and inability to pick them up. Before Pant's regained motion, Roundup released a second Drain Punch, clobbering him in the Jaw.

The strange orbs fly and take their forms.

Roundup yawns as Pants waddles over and shoves his fist in her face. She barely grunts as the force o the blow seemed well..negligible. Where'd he learn how to fight, wussy school?

Even so, it was Roundup who ran away, and was replaced by a more lithe figure. Pompordaur tressed up perfectly, Splonkey was ready for battle.

Not sure what happened there, Pants decides that punching this monkey is the way to go. But Splonkey is not having any of that. She jumps over Pantsu, before cartwheeling backwards and slamming into his back.

Splonky grins, happily patting the soft ground as Pyoko, a cute lil guy with a really round head appears. Fearing nothing from a fellow water type, the monkey starts up a helix of water. The vapor whirls around and begins its healing.

Pyoko smirks and dances. In the wake of his enjoyment, the rain begins to fall. This looks like a win win situation...

Sp: -5E ~~ Py: -4E
Rain: 6 act. AQ: 5 rds.

With all this water action, I wonder if there will actually be battles to ...oh. Splonkey gets its butt in gear. And how! That was a nasty loogie hawked at Pyoko. Even though it struck, Splonkey seemed visibly uncomfortable. Oh I get it. As Splonkey spat that, Pyoko forced the water falling to heat up and sizzle against Splonkey's skin. Clever Scald.

Sp: -8E/-12H ~~ Py: -5E/-10H

With all the steam now flowing from Splonkey's body, it's evident that the rain was the culprit. Splonkey shivered and cartwheeled over to Pyoko, whom was creating a similar helix shell around itself. Splonkey swept the foe, but it wasn't that painful of a hit.

This match resumes! With the rain still falling for both pokemon's benefit, Splonkey tries to be crafty and witty, calling Pyoko a waterhead. Yeah that's not the best taunt, but it works Pyoko huffs and turns away, scowling.

Yeah, that really worked! Pyoko is walking around all sorts of angry. I'm pretty sure the whole Shadow-Claw-to-the-face approach is not smoothing this over too well. Splonkey needs to learn subtlety.

Sp: -7E ~~ Py: -14H

Pyoko let loose the rage, slicing Splonkey with a powerful Aerial Ace. As Pyoko soared up from the strike Splonkley lunged up after and pulled the bird back down to reality...and the ground. Mostly the ground.

After some crazy hiatus, Pyoko gets right back in this mess. The penguin wells up a ball of crystallized water, and releases it almost as rapid! The ice Beam streaks and collides with Splonkey, just as he saunters around a small upchurning of dirt.

No confusion here, just all sorts of ice. Painful Ice as well.

Sp: -2E/-20H ~~ Py: -8E Cfn +2Atk

Pyo shook her head in slight confusion. Why did she suddenly see three monkeys all making fun of her. Heck, now she swore she saw three Sneasels. and now...Pyoko's gone.

Her observations were correct though. Now standing to face Splonkey and his waterfall uppercut was Sumomo. The hit was pretty powerful, but Sumomo landed on her feet after its connection, and wiped the excess element off her brow.

Sp: -8E ~~ Su: -16H

Knowing she was in for a fight, Sumomo dashed for the simian and landed atop his back. Splonkey was stunned by her speed, but even more so by the force of the punch to the small of his back. He managed to push her off the ground-and release a blast of energy that cycled in the air indiscriminately. It fell back down onto Sumomo, and left a fresh airy scent.

After the swaps are done, its Su who doles the first move. She keeps her eye on Splonkey as she sharpens her nails. While polishing them for that razor sharp cut, she spies that monkey just being a goofy boy. A cute goofy boy. No no no, she can't fall for him. No, not now! Of all days too?!?!

Nothing to fear right. Splonkey nodded and sauntered over to his new boo, who obliged with a coy smile and foot twist. Even as he spat in her FACE! You gotta be kidding me.

Oh ok good, She retaliated with a punch to his midsection Guess love is only skin deep, cause yeah, being spat on might cause some dissension.

But Su, she was still a fool blinded by love, and ran over to look at her prince Charming. This time, his cough up wasn't seen as so bad, even though it was salty and smelt like he drank a bucket of sea monkeys.
