I think it would be pretty awesome if we kind of had a somewhat universal Brit vs. American tag battle, LOL. It'd be entertaining to say the least. And why did mapping out the ASB mean you had to wait until the mods and Grey are gone? I'm pretty sure you'd be allowed to do that for your own purposes (unless it involves something innapropriate somehow... I don't think I want to know).

I honestly don't know if Chaz thinks these things through. I'm actually quite certain that he thinks something up, and then rushes to TPM to tell us all about it.

In other news, I'm around, but still unpacking my life. So it'll be a few more days before I'm ready to get back to work.

Yeah that would be cool, and no it just involves a trip in the Safari zone...

Grey I'm almost always on TPM when ever I log on to the Internet which is almost everyday, however I do other stuff on the computer at the same time.

And for the record suggested "Team uprising" for two reasons first as I pointed out Americans and Brits used to be foes, also I also thin k it could work for are ASB as a being a group of renegade trainers who want to take over...

Also what's up with naming your Graveler Charlie anyways?

I prefer cooler looking Pokemon then the Geodude line.

Actually, Charlie was a wild Graveler who acted as a supporting character in his Safari Adventcha. Grey never owned him. I was the one who named him.

Also, the Brit vs. American battle idea amuses me. I offer myself as ref since I'm sort of right in the middle of that whole shebang.

Should American vs Britain also use stereotype filling pokemon?

Obese Snorlax for America vs Bad Teeth Raticate for Britain?

I vote for Team Sexy Bitches. The uniform is beachwear.

If I'm not mistaken Asi and Ben did a similiar challenge. Can't remember who their opponents were. A 2 vs 2 with four players.

So you are planning on Great Britain vs America? Good idea, however, I wouldn't be so excited if there was a battle based on antoher war...

Fortunately for his potential Pokemon, RedStarWarrior isn't on ASB, or...?

Still gone guys, may be longer than I expected, so I'll try to pop up here and there. My apologies to eveyone that is waiting on refs,we are at a low.

This is that time of year where we need eveyone to do something in order to keep activity alive, whether that means stepping out of your comfort zone and reffing a match or two if yer a ref, or cutting back on battling to give the refs that are active some time to breathe (or take on a dfferent match.)

I realize that school is here, or forthcoming for some, and for others, jobs are the end all. All I'm saying is that when you come here to relax, remember that the fun you have here is due to the collective efforts of everyone as a community.

Anyway, Ima go ref and then I'm gone again.

I kinda dig the team idea thing, though I'm not all that interested in making it based on anything historical. What if there were two sides? Not necessarily good and evil, maybe just two sides working towards opposite goals like teams Aqua and Magama (though they were prolly both considered evil...) and each ASB member could choose a side, until one side becomes too "full" in which case the people who were "late" in picking a side get shoved onto the other side. I have no idea what this event or whatever could be or revolve around, I'm just shooting out ideas after not reading this thread in weeks 0.o

    1) I do have to visit a friend in Sweden, Mika, so you never know :O.

    2) Seeing as I have family in Europe (London and Manchester I believe) I hafta then go through the rest of Europe...so Amsterdam just seems logical. Never know, prolly can help beat some kids up with ya Muggles

    3) I know one Australian/Canadian who wouldn't agree with that statement, Oslo, but what part of Canada are you in? If I was closer to you when I was in NY, I'm gonna be sad.

And don't they tax the shiz outta everything up there? I'm keeping this under a certain budget xD.

I live in southwestern Ontario right now (ie. the boot), so yeah, you would have been closer in NY. And as the election leaflet I just got handed to me by a canvasser will attest, taxes are indeed a little on the ridiculous side. However, you can't be taxed if you spend your time here living like a bushman! I hear the coons are juicy this time of year.

    I should run tourism campaigns.

Yes, after a quick debate with DL we decided to mod Greyfox ^^ DL, nor me are leaving ASB, but both our hands are pretty much tied to our vague-hazy-lifestyle. Greyfox was already a head ref and longtime ASB veteran so the choice was obvious. Your main jobs will be continue head-reffing, check the general towers and oversee the safzone (which we got great things for Grey, you'll see later).

So, congrats to our new mod
