Naxx is the first raid instance where all the major bugs have either been caught in testing or hotfixed in a timely fashion.

Still haven't fixed the bug where the dog thingy suicides, nice alliance exploit right there.

*points to avatar/sig image* Yeah, I play. Main character is a L:60 human mage, RP server of Kirin Tor (because I like to RP). Currently rank 10 (Lieutenant Commander) looking for rank 11 for the 90g epic mount.

And LE, no offense, but you really need to "ell two pee" (L2P, or Learn2Play). It does not take 3+ months for a guilded L:1 to get to L:60 in decent gear. Playing for a few hours every day, it takes possibly 2 weeks at the most for a decent guild to get a L:1 friend to L:60, then boom, 2 more weeks grinding BRS/BRD, Strat, Scholo for Tier 0 (since most BoP, and Drak is the only one that drops the chest, though now it's easier to redo those instances so possibly shorter than 2 weeks), and donations from the guild to get to Tier .5. Look, one month and you've got a decent end-game character from L:1.

I won't quit but if Blood Elves get Paladins it doesn't make sense. They are a race that is addicted to magic and are the most psycho-sematic of all of them. They're the complete opposite of what Paladins are and represent.

You didn't read the lore. The Blood Elves are not trying to represent what Paladins stand for. They freakin' stole the magic of the Light, twisted and corrupted it, then put it to their own use. It is the same magic of the Paladins, which is why they are called Paladins as a class. Though the 'proper' term is "Blood Knight."

At least this lore makes sense; apparently there was some big ruckus with the Draenei's lore and their origins...can't speak on that, though, as I never read the original lore...

Well, you may be in the minority on the expansion, Raz. All the people I spoke to yesterday are outraged by the class exchange in the expansion. They all think it's not proper lore.

Here's a problem you're going to have - a guild is already solid with 40-45 people of 8 classes in Tier 2-3. Now you're introducing class 9 having to go striaght to 70? How do you integrate them, how do you gear them up? Believe me, Raz, this is really throwing a spanner in the works.

Having paladins / shamans to the other faction lets them differentiate shamans and paladins more so in the expansion and beyond rather than trying to make them "the same, but different."

The difference between levelling a new shaman / pally to 70 vs your current to 70 will only be a few weeks. Think, on a new fresh shaman / pally you won't have to have done attunements like Onyxia and all that that takes time. Pure levelling.

There are people in each high end guild that I am sure are raring to reroll as the opposite class. They really wanted to play the class but didn't want to leave their guild / faction behind. I know personally a few friends of mine in my guild are already getting levelling twink gear for their new shamans.

Heh, I wonder if for some reason you went to BWL at 70... If they'd have updated Nefarian to do the other class call.

I'm now in Inquisition, #2 guild on my server. Was there for their 1st Grand WIdow Faerlina kill, so 4 bosses down for Inq now.

Yeah, well, you're a casual player, and I can respect that. It took me about 3 months (real-world time) to get to 60 myself, though I had a decent guild and a few helpful friends. I was referring to the super-hardcore gamers who play every day for at least 4-5 hours, have many friends (and/or a supreme guild) in the game that can/will help, and an insane amount of knowledge of the gameplay. I'm not calling you a n00b or anything like that, I'm just saying there are other people who get a little..."involved."

Of course, this brings up the question of why the heck it would be beneficial to Bubble-Hearth out of Battlegrounds. Last I checked there was a much easier way to leave a Battleground and be cheap about it, and everyone on both sides can already do it. It's called: /afk

And also, LE, I know how2play. I play flagged on PvE (well, RP, but same thing), so I have it harder than normal PvP because of cheap Horde who blue-wall me (I can't attack until they start attacking me), and I still usually manage to beat them down. I am a Rank 10, last week I was 59th from the top for PvP on my server, and this week I'm higher than that (just waiting for WoW to update their site so I know how high...). In Battlegrounds, I can take someone out in 10-15 seconds if they don't notice me (which if we play the BG right, they don't until I hit them the first time). So I don't really see how you can get off telling me to L2P.

I know I am not the best, I don't claim to be the best, but I know I don't suck either.

When I started on Day 1 and looked through the NE designs, I really hated the faces of the males. They looked so stern, arrogant and rude. They didn't look anything like what I would want to have represent me. Then I look at the females. If you like at mine, it isn't that sexy. I picked one with a white ponytail, no facial tatts, pinkish skin - one that looks approachable but isn't somethign to drool on. I don't like people perving on female Night Elves - it makes me sick. That article about that guy that got caught beating off to his female NE made me want to throw up.

That is why I rolled what I did. Please don't hold it as something to bear a grudge on or as stereotypical. I just want to play this game and enjoy it. I have no interest in being an internet bully or anything like that. So can we all just chill and move on?

In other news, I've been getting pretty good at battlegrounds recently. Today alone I led two Alterac Valleys from a wavering stalemate to victory. Good week to do it in, as this weekend is AV bonus-honor weekend.

Just checking in... I see people are mad at eachother Well my guild has been progressing through Naxx pretty well I guess you could say. We've cleared the Spider Wing, Instructor and we recently downed Patchwerk and Grobbulus for the first time. We're going to work on Noth and Heigan next.

People that played female characters never bothered me. You play what you like looking at, not what best "represents" you.

Nice work, Craig. My lot are gonna try Patchwerk again tomorrow. I fucking hate that guy. I think Faerlina is fine, it's just Razuvious meets Huhuran. Maexxna is more intense than Faerlina imo. Patchwerk is still the cockblock on Naxx though.

haha, my achievement of the week was solo tanking both drakks adds while thinking drakk was going to be kited, then having to grab drakk as well while both adds were still up

Rough stats for the fight
20% of the time = dead (wtb; healers who know that if a half dead tank is conflagged, he needs a heal)

60% of the time = knocked down (the adds have knockdown /cry)

20% of the time = tanking (actually using skills)

all the time I wasn't conflagged (about 70%) = with aggro.


The sad part was.. a priest told me to sheild wall right as I got conflagged ><

The even sadder part.. the druid didn't have innervate on his hotbars and had to go open his spell book to find it



PUG ubrs now is hell on a stick, Drakk died though.

Finally got to see a C'Thun kill. Man, that fight requires a lot of coordination and discipline, but when it works, damn it's fun. Being swallowed by C'Thun is a surreal experience.
