You return to the fl/door and stick the four keys into the matching keyholes. You give them a turn and, with four clicks, the fl/door swings open to reveal a set of worn soapstone stairs leading down a narrow torchlit passageway. With Megazord and Brigitte by your side, you head down into the unknown. The ceiling is low and you're forced to duck uncomfortably. As you progress down the corridor, you begin to hear voices echoing from the distance. They grow gradually louder and louder until you reach a large, circular room. Above the archway leading into the room are words carved into stone.

In this room lies
the boundary
barring life from death.
Here, the threshold
between these two worlds
is thinnest.

Be warned.

You feel a tremendous energy being given off from your surroundings as though something invisible and ancient is being touched. Peering into the room, which smells strongly of herbs and incenses, you spy lit votives scattered all over the place. Six cloaked Pokemon stand in a ring of ash in the room's very center. They're chanting and you can just barely catch snippets of what they're saying. It sounds similar to the First Ceremony you heard earlier in Dysfunctionland, though some words are different.

"...ritus..."

"...phasma phasmatis..."

"...imperium..."

"...dominus..."

"...resurrectio..."

"...somnus..."

In the corner of the room, you see that Dusclops, Haunter, Sableye and Spiritomb have made their way down here as well. They're watching the ritual with a shared look of curiosity.

As the ritual continues, the strange energy enclosed within the room begins to mount. A breeze kicks up and gusts around with gathering strength, blowing out several of the votives in the process. As the wind heightens, the cloaked Pokemon's hoods are blown back, revealing the identities of the six Dreadhand Cult devotees present. You recognize only one of them.



You squint through the building wind toward the four Ghost-type Pokemon in the corner, who look different all of a sudden. Their eyelids begin to droop, though they don't seem fatigued. Their faces are entirely bereft of emotion.



Come to think of it, Megazord is starting to look sort of similar...

The six members of the Dreadhand Cult are now shouting their chant over the roaring gale. Just as you begin to wonder how much more of this there is, everything falls silent. The wind dissipates to nothing as the ritual comes to an end. The six Pokemon peer at one another and then notice you in the archway, but they don't seem particularly interested by you. Instead, they look toward the four Ghosts in the corner.



Dusclops, Haunter, Sableye and Spiritomb now look sluggish as though sedated. They turn and then march through the stone wall. Just like that, they vanish. You look up at Megazord and see that his face bears the same look of complete and total lethargy. Without a single glance toward you, he Flies upward, passes through the ceiling and is gone.

"The hell?" Brigitte asks.
