A strange town, all within the treetops. Long since abandoned by humans, the MASSIVE amount of Pokemon that live here all seem a bit strange and off kilter. Before Bernadette can so much as twitch a muscle, Yami explodes with an epic combo, bringing together the sheer might of a speedy punch, an aerial slice and a crackling gout of flames. The Pinsir is thrown off her feet and lands on the ground in a daze, completely overwhelmed by your massive strike. With that, the crowd starts roaring in excitement and the referee declares you to be the winner of the tournament.
Shortly thereafter, you stand atop a raised platform as the mustachioed Ambipom from before returns the Pokeballs containing your Ninetales and Braviary before announcing that you and Yami have achieved the status of Champions. Yami shakes hands with Bernadette and the third-place finalist as the Ambipom presents you with your prize: the Wind Blade, the fifth and final artifact required to gain access to Platrin Plateau.
"Congratulations to you both!" the Ambipom says as the crowd continues to shout. "Your amazing display of battle prowess will be remembered in these parts for years and years to come!"

Once the fanfare dies down, you hop aboard Aikoku and get him to jet you away to familiar territory. Soon, you find yourself touching down upon the soft terrain of Grave's Yard. A familiar face is there to greet you as the old Rotom Leader drifts over toward you.
"Cynder!" it says, wrapping you in a hug. Those little Rotom lightning bolt arms zap you a little, but it's not too unpleasant. "I've been waiting for your return! So, tell me... did you find the five artifacts?"
You explain how, after earning the Skarmory Feather for driving away the Murkrows, you received a Bony Mask for pursuing a thespian Jigglypuff, a Vulpix Tail for helping a goods dealer bust out of prison, a Strengthened Sphere for proving both your brain and brawn to jungle lunatics and the Wind Blade for winning the Skyline Terrace Invitational Battle Tournament.
"My goodness! You've been busy, then," the Leader says. "I was rooting for you. Not many travelers succeed in rounding up enough artifacts, you know. Yes, yes, follow me."
He leads you to a mausoleum not far from where the Honchkrow Boss and his Murkrow underlings had set up shop. You step inside and the cold stench of decay rushes out to meet you. In the center of the shrine is a large stone pedestal with ten places for you to place various objects of different shapes and sizes. Five of the spots match your five artifacts.
"Place your artifacts here and the deed will be done," the Rotom Leader explains. "You need only do this once. The objects will vanish, but you will forever retain access to Platrin. Good luck as you continue your quest, young one."

Simon and your Pokemon look around for any indication of Heatran's present location while you question Amelia.
"You know, man, I totally did," the Pupitar replies. "If I remember correctly, he said something about how he was going to punish all the islanders for the insolent fools who attempted to capture him. He said he was going to take them somewhere dark where he'd gobble them down one by one and those who didn't want to suffer such a fate were told to help him round up the locals. Not a nice guy, basically."
Fenrir suddenly barks to alert you to something. He points at the ground. Though Heatran's footprints initially appeared to end all of a sudden, you realize they just became gradually fainter in the scorched earth, presumably as his sweltering body temperature decreased after spending so much time outside the magma pool. Platrin Plateau

There are two shrines, one in Sunshine plains, and one in Grave's Yard. They are inconspicuous, the Grave's Yard shrine is a maouselum of sorts. You place the artifacts in the appropriate spots on the pedestal. You pause, waiting for something to happen, but nothing does. You begin to wonder if you if did something wrong when, suddenly, a bright flash of light consumes the shrine. The Rotom leader and the pedestal vanish as you, Yami, Yurei and Aikoku leave your surroundings behind. When the light fades, you find yourself outside. You close your eyes and inhale; the air smells sweet.
Opening your eyes again, you pass through pearl gates and peer around your surroundings. You're outside in what is presumably a temple garden. Ornate fountains and statues pepper the landscape amidst various fruit trees and exotic flowers. Your attention is draw by the temple itself, an inconceivably massive, bone-white structure rising up into the clouds. You can't quite explain it, but everything here just seems... better.
You realize the nearby Pokemon are all exceptionally rare. Nearby, a Ludicolo and an Empoleon frolic in one of the fountains. Not far off, a Slaking feeds from one of the trees and, overheard, flocks of Salamences and Aerodactyls drift across the sky.

"So any word yet on whether the Fearow has been found?" the Monferno asks.
"None to speak of," the Torkoal replies. "The scout hasn't returned yet... but man, Heatran wants him so bad. He has the Graveller tied up in his chamber waiting for the Fearow to be found. From what I've heard, once he has both the Fearow and the Graveller, he's going to torture them both so the other can watch before gobbling them whole. All for trying to chain him up. Man, Heatran is savage. And after that, he's going to eat all the other Pokemon who didn't obey him as punishment for allowing his sleep in the magma pool to be disturbed."
You glance over at Simon and see that he's now become pale and apprehensive.
"Well, it's their own fault. They had the chance to obey Heatran like us and round up all the stupid islanders," the Monferno says. "I can't believe only a handful of us swore fealty. What do the others get from resisting? They're fools."
"Agreed," the Torkoal intones. "Anyway, I'm off to see how the Mole Project is coming along. Talk to you later."
"Yeah, I'll be helping to look after the prisoners," the Monferno says. "See you."
With that, they part ways, with the Torkoal heading down a hallway to the left and the Monferno ambling off down a hallway to the right.
"Woah, we totally have to stop Heatran, like, right this second," Amelia says.
"Hold on," Simon replies. "If we charge him now, he'll only call reinforcements and kick our asses. In response, Monferno, Houndoom and Aerodactyl all hit Fenrir with a Snore, a Flamethrower and an Iron Head respectively. Your poor Umbreon stumbles back in a daze.
Falconzord, Sleep Talking once again, draws upon a colossal wealth of energy as he rams Houndoom with a Giga Impact. Fenrir drains more health from Monferno who erupts with a second Snore which hits Caucus and causes him to flinch. Aerodactyl and Houndoom target Caucus as well, causing significant damage to your Breloom through the combined effects of an Aerial Ace and an Overheat.
As Falconzord both sleeps and recharges, Monferno wakes up. Fenrir uses a Psychic attack to slam the monkey against the hard ground while Caucus clobbers Aerodactyl with a ThunderPunch, inducing Paralysis. Monferno, Aerodactyl and Houndoom respond by hitting Falconzord with a Blaze Kick, a Crunch and an AncientPower. Suddenly, Falconzord rises from sleep and stretches.
While all this goes on, the Torchic starts smacking his chains against the ground to draw your attention. You find the nearest flight of stairs and climb it upward to the next floor. Once there, you wander around until you find a set of crystal doors. Inscribed on them in an elegant script is a brief message.
The Crystal Gallery has been a part of the Platrin Plateau temple for centuries. Many of these items are unique and predate much of the Safari Zone; thus, their origins remain shrouded in mystery. Visitors are welcome but are asked not to touch anything.
You carefully open the doors and step inside. You're immediately caught breathless as you look around. The gallery is massive and jam-packed with gleaming crystal relics that almost seem to hum as you pass them. However, after a minute of being here, the atmosphere begins to change. You almost feel an unseen presence here. As well, for reasons you can't explain, you feel a sudden desire to leave. However, you simply focus on finding the lost Kangaskhan.
You and your Pokemon split up as you look around. Yami and Yurei search the left side of the room as you and Aikoku examine the right. After a moment, you see a tiny yellow object sitting at the base of a large and impressive crystal mirror. Aikoku approaches and picks up the object in his wing. It's the stuffed Pikachu.

You see the reflected image of the Pikachu plushie still in Aikoku's wing, but it's peering at you now with a soulless glare.
Suddenly, all goes black. You and Aikoku find yourself in a swirling void that presses in at you from all sides. Soon, after a moment passes, the effect ends. You are, however, no longer within the Crystal Gallery.
You find yourself once again outside by the gates to Platrin Plateau with only Aikoku by your side. This time, instead of being made of pearl, the gates seem to be forged out of a black, twisted metal. The sky is no longer a clear blue but rather contains dark swirls of scarlet and purple. The statues depict beasts more wicked than you could imagine while the fountains spew a black, burbling ooze; moreover, the fruit hanging from the trees seems to be speckled and rotting. It gives off the odour of decaying flesh.
Overhead, scores of Aerodactyls and Salamences do battle. A Ludicolo appears to be choking an Empoleon near one of the fountains as a Slaking beats his arms against his chest until he draws bruises. This does not seem to deter him.

Once Aikoku hits the apex of his flight, he swoops down and slams Raichu into the ground. The attack doesn't do much damage, but it leaves your opponent in a daze and gives you enough time to hop upon Aikoku and flee into the skies.
Phew. As the air tumbles your hair back, you enjoy your momentary safety for as long as it lasts... which is all of five seconds. Suddenly, one of the warring Salamences rams into you and Aikoku, throwing you off. You land hard on the ground and all the wind is instantly knocked out of you. As you lie there in pain, you peer over and watch as the Dragon Pokemon pins Aikoku to the ground and attacks him with Crunch after Crunch after Crunch. The beast looks like she's trying to eat Aikoku.
But a wild Salamence wouldn't do that.
...right?
