Sunshine Fields

A large plain that overlooks TPML, the grass is soft and the air tasty. A plethora of grass Pokemon are found here as they enjoy the tickling breeze and the bright sunshine. Bird and normal-types are also found here.

The Journey:

With greener pastures before you, Dodger picks you , Yana, and Ryan and flies the group to the next destination: the Old Village.

Decrepit and unkempt since it was condemned some years ago, the Old Village remains as a testament to what the League was like in years long past. Carefully Dodger lands, letting Yana out of his claws and sniffing around. As you demount Ryan looks around as Dodger walks on all fours for his mode of locomotion.

A Magnemite flies past down a darkened alleyway while lighter-than air Ghost Drifblim and Drifloon are carried by the light breeze. You catch something moving out of the corner of your eye and Yana bares her teeth as the something's shadow goes between two houses.

The Journey:

As you feel the shadows surround you, Dodger snarls and walks behind Yana, Ryan and you. The Houndoom's ears perk up as she sniffs the air, and Ryan keeps his eyes open as well. You follow the shadow through the alleys, smelling the Stunky before you see them. As they scatter, you can see a few Aipom swing away onto the top of a roof.

Yana lets out a low growl, seems she's picked up on the trail of what you guys are following.

Yana takes the lead, with Ryan and Dodger behind you, ready for anything. As the Houndoom catches onto the trail, you can see a group of Eevee cuddle together as an Umbreon eyes you warily. You can see ghostly apparitions of Misdreavus and Shuppets phasing in and out of reality. Magnemite hover around a Magneton above you. Yana tracks the scent to a destroyed side of a home, and motions inside.

Hmmm.... well eevee is definately one of the pokemon that i was looking for. *sighs* If i had a great ball i'd go after umby as well but since i don't.... I'll have to lessen the threat of umby while targeting one of the eevees.

I'll have Dodger keep an eye on the opening and make sure that nothing escapes while i'm focusing on the eevee.

Afterwards. I'll thank yana for tracking down the pokemon then have her target one of the eevee that's on the outside of the group unless there is a shiny in which that's the one we want. She should wait until after Ryan has made his first move on the umbreon then she will then use fire spin on it. She will then follow that up with a double team and finish with flamethrower.

If the umbreon is female, Ryan will distract the umbreon. First, he will start with attract. He will then use charm before finishing with yawn. If the umbreon is male, Ryan will start with yawn, following that up with ice shard to umbreon before helping yana out with a helping hand.

The Journey:

Well this is a fine kettle of fish. Dodger stands guard by the hole in the wall, watching for whatever may come out, or in. While Ryan and Yana pay attention to the Umbreon and her litter.

Ryan starts off, being as attractive as he can to catch the female's eye (-3) and does so. Even with the muing Eevees, the mother seems to be interested in this Glaceon. Yana takes her cue and spits out a ring of flame around a single Eevee (-5/-3). The Eevee itself tries to go for broke (-13/-3) which doesn't seem to do much. This doesn't stop the other Eevees from rushing forward and pummeling Yana (-3 (x4)/-16). Looks like the Eevee's don't like having you beat on their brother. The Umbreon doesn't seem that into attacking the Glaceon as of yet.

Yana splits into three copies, trying to confuse the little ones (-4 (4 Clones)), and set up for the next attack. The Eevee in the sphere of flame growls as his siblings encourage him (-3 (x 4), -15/-18). The burst of energy blasts through the sphere, not destroying it, but slams into Yana, and pushes her back against the adjacent house, sending wood splintering in every direction. The Umbreon is snapped out of her infatuation by the sound of her litter and snarls at Ryan. Her eyes glow and that makes contact with Ryan's own (-3/CFN (50% attack fail)). Ryan tries to fufill his trainer's commands but stumbles into a broken barrel (-4, -4).

The Umbreon then unleashes a deep throated screech that washes over Ryan and Yana (-3/DEF --/DEF --). The Eevees rush forward as a unit again, and slam into Yana once more (-3 (x 4)/-12 (DMG Cap)), pegging the white-dotted Houndoom into the building again, slamming her and themselves through the wall, sending lumber splintering everywhere. Ryan tries to go on the attack again (-3) letting out a long yawn (Sleepy). Yana pushes herself up from under the bundles of Eevee's that slammed into her, she spits out a jet of flame at the Eevee still trapped in the sphere of fire (-6/-9).

The Eevee in the Fire Spin is burnt by the flames (-3).

With that last attack over, Dodger lets out a warning shriek as something starts to lower from the ceiling above the Eevee's. It's a Ariados, and it's just found dinner.

The Journey:

All hell has broken loose. With part of the wall broken down as Yana was slammed through the wood, and the Eevee family defending their own. Now with an Ariados coming down for dinner, looks like it's not going to end well.

The Ariados shoots out a burst of silk that wraps around one of the Eevee's cocooning it up in a nice little package (-2). Dodger lets out a high-pitched shreik that echoes in the ransacked building (-3/CFN (50% Attack Failure)/Yana: CFN (50% Attack Fail)/CFN (50% Attack Fail)). Ryan taking the cue, summons forth a burst of ice, snow and wind that slams into the Eevee troupe, trapping them for now (-6/-8). The Umbreon scoops up a ball of sand and flings it into Ryan's eyes (-2/Accuracy -). Yana still has her job to do, and spits forth a burst of flame that wraps around the little Eevee once more (-4/-3). The Eevee's spend their time getting out of the ice and snow (-6), as the Fire Spinned Eevee slams himself against the fire to try and escape (-5, -6 BRN (-2 HP)).

The Umbreon can't stay awake any longer, and the mother falls asleep. Dodger unleashes another shriek at the Umbreon (-2/CFS (50% Attack Fail)). With his attention gone, the spider takes his move, jumping onto the Aerodactyl and bites down with his fangs (-7/-9). Yana spits out a darkened sludge that steams and smells as it is soaked into the sphere of flame and onto the Eevee (-5/TXC PSN (2 HP)). The Eevee thrashes against the fire wall again (-6, -3) and is starting to cause the funnel to convulse. Ryan sits down and makes a wish (-14). The Eevee troupe is almost free of the snow, but one of them is still wrapped in the silk (-5).

The Eevee's finally free themselves and find themselves torn. Do they fend their brother, or their mother. In a rush they all slam into Ryan, knocking the Glaceon away from their now sleeping mother (-4 (x4)/-24. Ryan snarls as the Eevees have proven themselves to be an annoyance, and he calls down a cold bitting wind between the buildings (-12/-14). Yana yawns and lays down, starting to regain her health (+10, +6). The Eeeve in the Fire Spin slams against the fire wall, burning himself but being now free from the sphere (-8, -5, -3 (Recoil)). Dodger roars as fire licks at the edges of his mouth and he blasts the Ariados with a point-blank burst of flame (-13/-18). The spider hisses before it bites down and starts to drain Dodger's health (-4, +2/-4).

One hell of a rumble (-2 (BRN), -2 (TXC)).

Ryan, start with rain dance. Then, after the eevees are all nice and wet hit 'em with blizzard. finish with an ice beam to the targeted eevee.

Yana, do nothing unless you are attacked. IF attacked, snore at whoever attacked you. If somehow you get woken up, make a substitute then rest.

The Journey:

With the last challenge over, you notice that the Torterra is frozen solid! Sushi makes a call to the weather spirits as sun starts to shine through (-4). Warm rays wash over you as the ice around your big leafy friend beings melting rapidly.

You say your apologies and goodbyes before you and Sushi run off, that Onix isn't going to get any better any faster.

You run over the last few hills to the Onix, still laying on the ground and sick. It recognizes you and Sushi, giving a low growl in greeting. Quickly you take the remaining leaves from your pack and place them in the Rock Snake's mouth. It chews it slowly, and you wait.

Slowly, you can see the shine and color return to the Rock Type. It raises up and lets out a strong roar as it feels its strength and health returning.

The Journey:

When it rains, it pours doesn't it? A battle on two fronts with a sleeping member and a group of Eevee's trying to coax their mother awake. While the spider battles it out with Dodger.

Dodger tries to whip up a large gust of wind to send the Ariados flying (-6), but finds himself slammed to the ground by an unseen force (-8/-9). The Eevees try to wake their mother up by mewing to her, which helps in rousing her from her slumber. She rises and glares at Ryan. The Glaceon calls forth the forces of nature (-4). Yana continues to sleep through the ruckus (+6, +10).

Concentrating, Ryan brings forth another blast of the cold wind of the north (-9/-13/-13), to buffer the Eevee group. The Ariados continues to tango with Dodger, poison oozing from his claw (-11/-14 (PSN, -3 HP)). Dodger isn't happy at all, in fact the predator is enraged. Stomping his foot he causes large slabs of rock to jut up and surrounding the carniverous spider (-5/-7). Yana gets more rest (+6, +10). And the Eevee's have a new front line as their mother disappears (-6/-3 (x 5)/-25) and hits the Glaceon from an angle he didn't see coming.

Guess that's what happens when you pick a fight with a family.

Dodger takes the opportunity to fly into action, raising a wing and bringing it down on the targeted Eevee (-6/-11). The Ariados moves along the shadows to take Dodger off guard (-8/-8), escaping the Rock Tomb. The Eevee troupe slams into Ryan again (-3 (x 5)/-20 (DAM CAP)), before he retaliates by going after their targeted Eevee (-6/-10). The mother strikes again, (-4) knocking the Ice Type farther away from her cubs. Yana continues to sleep (+6, +10).

As the round ends, Dodger feels sick (-3 (PSN)), and the (-2 (BRN)).

The Journey:

You purchase your Ultra Ball, leaving the rest of your team with the receptionist. Perseus looks calm and collected, his arms folded as you then make your way to the area to be teleported from.

Since Perseus already knows the move, a sleeping Abra simply uses its telepathy to inform the Gallade where to go, and in a flash, you are both gone.

As your sensations return, you realize that you and Perseus are standing on a rock jutting over a cliff. The rock seems a bit stable as you step back and look out.

Below you is a lake being fed by a waterfall at the edge of this valley. It looks like a heard of Torterra are migrating here for some reason. You see Starly fly overhead as a line of Geodude start to hand rocks off to one another in some kind of team-work effort. A Rhyhorn is enjoying some berries off of a small bush while a Magnemite snoozes under a rock-outcrop.

The Journey:

You decide to follow the Torterra herd to see what you can find. The Continent Pokémon have been known to have others in its tree that rests on its back. The two of you start to climb down the cliff face, sticking close to the wall along a trail. As you both walk down you see a group of Gligar hanging upside down from the rock wall. Further down the trail you can see some Elikid and Chimchar tossing rocks to each other in a fun little game. Closer to the cliff face towards the valley below, you can see two Onix doing a strange dance with each other.

What next?

The Old Village
This is the old location of the village before the battling league moved the village a mile east. In this ancient test of time, among old buildings and disused shops you will find a variety of city Pokemon living in solitude. Rumor has it there are secrets underneath the village.

You enter the hole the Forret made in the wall. It appears this once was a door, but had been sealed off long ago before the Old Village fell to ruins. Looking to your left just inside the door is a winding staircase, leading downwards. To your right is a narrow hallway ending in darkness. The air smells musty and slightly damp. Down the staircase you can hear quite a lot of rustling.

You step gingerly onto the old wooden utility elevator, and pressing the down button you ride with it down into the darkness of the mine. The elevator creaks and shifts alarmingly with your weight, and from high above you can hear the faint flapping of many wings, and occasionally strange squeaks. You lose track of how far down youve traveled in the darkness, until suddenly the Elevator jerks sharply to a stop, nearly knocking you off your feet.
You arent sure how high off the ground you are, and it appears the elevator is stuck. The flapping sounds start to get louder and closer.

As my Ralts, Romeo teleports you to the starting zone of Trolgar mountain you look around to take in all its wonderful scenery. You look at the top of the mountain and see the top covered by clouds. Wandering around you see some Geodudes fighting each other. Spinning your head around you see a small crack in the side of the mountain.

Continuing around the base of the mountain you see a Numel lumbering around swaying form side to side while a Slugma is crawling up the wall of the mountain. A little further ahead you see what seems to be a set of ornate gates.

Turning your nose up at all these pokemon before you, you decide you are after bigger game. Continuing on you find a Sandshrew and Diglett digging in the ground creating large holes in the ground for fun. Suddenly the ground begins to shake and a massive Onix pushes its head through the side of the mountain before receeding back into its depth. The hole it created seems to lead to a large cavern.

Pulling out a small helmet with a flashlight you put it on your head and flick it on. With the light from the torch illuminating the cave you begin walking till it suddenly becomes hotter and hotter. As you get further into the tunnel it joins to a large cavern fillied with numerous calderas filled with red hot magma. Wiping the sweat of your face you see a Charmander frolicking around a magma pool while a Torkoal trudges around and a Nosepass jumps around joyfully.

As you walk through the magma caverns ignoring the tempting Torkoal, you spy a Lunatone floating around happily while a Magby is desperatly trying to grab onto it and fly as well. Laughing at this spectacle you also spy a Torchic nibbling on some plant life which seems to be growing quite well despite the surroundings.

Ignoring those pokemon as well you keep walking through the magma filled caverns you see a Growlithe and Vulpiz chasing one another. But as you look further into the distance you can see what appears to be a large metal set of doors with ornate carvings on them.

The Area:

The Journey:

The trail is treacherous, but you and Perseus continue along the thin walkway. You make it to the bottom and find an Aron and Larion foraging for food. A Skorupi clicks to itself as you see a Torterra shake what looks like frost off of its tree while it walks past. A Shinks playfully stalks a Bonsly as it walks along the bushes.
