BTW, did i lose the awards? or it was a tie or what happened?

I should update my signature or at least place something in it. I had to search the topic because i couldn't find it, wanted to give thanks to the ones who supported me and took their time but the topic is closed.

While the voting took place i was having a nice experience with Lan Boeing 787. One of my hobbies is aviation industry. I like to take picture of my flights and then share them with people. What would be called a Trip Report.

Life is... I don't know, I'm too scared of my thesis to think about life properly. Most things are going well, I think. Except, you know... economy, politics, the summer heat and all that stuff.

I like the idea of trip reports. I also like documenting my trips, but my photos aren't nearly as good as yours.

As for the awards... I'm afraid it was a case of sudden death.

My roommate/best friend's 25th birthday. In our senshi silliness, she is our Saturn, and possesses the Glaive aka an item in her room that we have decided can be smashed upon the head of any ruthless, lady-hating politician but if it breaks, the world ends.

She also loves Doctor Who, so I made a TARDIS, but it came out kind of crappy. I tried to make Saturn better to make up for it, then decided to fill up some of the negative space with the Silence Glaive.

In another thread, I had posted the Yara Sofia cake I made for my other roommate's birthday. She loves RuPaul's Drag Race and her favorites were Alexis Mateo and Yara Sofia. Alexis isn't as colorful and wacky as Yara, so I decided to go with Yara. Plus, I had the stuff to make her hair.

Saturn/TARDIS came out so much better... and now I'm just full of ideas for cakes. I want to make more!

Yeah, I guess I am against the norms of typical Indians in a lot of ways:

1) I'm light-skinned (mind you, my family background's from the SOUTH and India has a light-dark spectrum where the more South you go, the darker you get

)

2) I'm Christian (Blade's mind completely blown)

3) I'm not a bigot or sheltered/close-minded (something I unfortunately had to deal with a lot while I was here for 4 years).

Oh and yeah name is Sean, but most of you know that. I'm pretty sure I have most people here friend-ed on Facebook. Go figure

EDIT: I dunno why but the Grammar Nazi in me is looking at the last sentence and is just screaming at me that it's wrong...must be light-headedness from having a fever...
