Dance Appeal!!





Well now. The stage lights dim. The platform is illuminated. We have Tux and Drucilla standing at their trainers sides, each ready to perform with this Dance Off.

As soon as the Waterfalls roar decreases for the moment, Dru starts by unleashing a sandstorm, using the silt from the bottom of the lake. It comes straight up, creating a wall of wet sand that shines powerfully in the view of the lights. Tux, within the Storm, opens his wings and spins around hastily, A conical Blizzard sweeps out, countering the Sandstorm and creating a sort of horizontal blade effect that splits the storm in half.

As the Blizzard and the Sandstorm lose power, Dru creates a few clones and tries to make then look like a set of mirages in the sand. But the plan backfires, because Tux seems ready for such a thing, and follows through with an Aqua Jet. He slides on his belly to get enough speed and ramps off the side of the platform. He curves in like a homing missile, wings to his sides and starts cutting through the clones!

Dru turns the tables, and the crowd claps for Dru at the moment. Taking what seems to be an risky maneuver, Dur blindly flips backwards and Dragon Rushes. She seems to be spinning and aiming for a head-on collision with Tux. Tux sidespins to avoid Dru at the last second covering his body in a watery veil to accentuate his acrobatic evasion! The two Pokemon land, and that's the end of the first round.

Well, it was a solid attempt by both participants, as well as a new concept for them to grasp. But there was very little synergy to work with. Tux utilized more since the moves he chose actually played a part in gracefulness and agility in order to deal with Drucilla's strange setup.

It was the Sandstorm that messed things up for Dru here, as they ripped away alot of the clones and therefore took away from the set that was chosen for her. This is why Chris prevailed this round.

Next set starts with Chris and Tux. Hopefully Dragonis and Drucilla can make a comeback, or its lights out!! If I can offer any advice, its this-Try to use your opponent as you would your partner in a Dual Appeal, but make yourself look better!! :O

Let's go with a bubblebeam high into the air.

Catch his Bubblebeam in a Twister.

Use blizzard to glaze the bubbles with frost.

Then melt that glaze with a Flamethrower.

Shoot a flash cannon through the flames.

Slash through that flash cannon with Dragon Claw.

Dance Appeal!!





The second Dance off begins. It's a nice slow start, as Tux shoots a plethora of Bubbles in the air, keeping them nice and concentrated. Dru stands face to face with Tux then, and looks up. A swift wind shoots up from her mouth and starts to swirl, until she effectively catches a good portion of the bubbles in a Twister, making sure not to pop them. She allows the Twister to touch base on the platform, and both opponents step back.

With the target rotating in front of him, Tux is quick to jump up and fire a Blizzard down at the Twisting bubbles, creating an Ice sculpture of bubbles still spinning within a Twister. The audience applauds this show of ingenuity, but Drucilla is not to be outdone. As thet Blizzard sweeps past, Dru unleashes a Flmethrower. The galze around the whole set of componets is melted away, and the bubbles still keep their form as they float up-the Twister losing power. People applaud this tricky yet succcessful manevour.

Tux finishes with a bright grey blast that shatters the flames, disperses the Twister and sends the bubles flying all about. The Flash Cannon goes up with the bubbles, leaving Drucilla to chase after it. She doesn't go far piercing right through its center with a Dragon Clawed swipe. It explodes, bubbles and energy going out all over. The audience applauds.

Very nice start and middle sections, each one using an ability to cancel the otehr. I like the opposition of ice and fire in the middle form both of you, and the techniques used were great. I guess the bubble play really toucehd the audience, using such powerful attacks and yet not breaking the watery spheres-that was key.

This time, it was the ending. Drucilla was able to create that explosion from Tux's Flash Cannon. It put Dru in the midst of a radiating center of bubbles and energy that looked visually appealing.

Both did an amazing job though, that's what a Dance Off is all about.

Final Set: Dragonis. Tie Breaker round! Who knew?!?!? Well its only one more-then we'll have our winner folks !

Alright Dru, start off by summoning a gaint tsunami with Surf.

Cleave through the wave with a steel wing.

[Dragonis]

Now push the waves back with Draco Meteor.

Counter it with your hydro cannon

[Dragonis]

Now go for a Dargon Pulse.

[Chris 2.1]

Let the attack hit you and shimmer with an iron defence.

Dance Appeal!!





The final Dance off begins! The crowd is on their feet as Drucilla and Tux square off. Dru raises her arms, causing everyone to do the wave. As this occurs, a immense wave rises up from the audience side, and comes roaring over toward them both. Tux is fearless though, and with his aquatic swimming prowess, dives in the water and swims up the Surf, before slicing through it. Wings were out and shimmering like steel blades, captivating the audience.

Dru, not done yet, lunges over the crashing Surf and calls upon the heavens to to stop the Tsunami's rage. Flying skyward, she hovers as meteors come and slam through the immense wall of water, forcing it back and ultimatly breaking it down..or at least it looked that way. As the last and largest Meteor came barreling down, Tux swam out to greet it. A massive Hydro Pump rose from the Surf's spray and slammed into the Meteor-as Dru watched with contempt.

Seh wasted in time in soaring and screeching down, her claws glowing a deep maroon. With one swing of her arm, she forced a Dragon Pulse down to hinder the Hydro Pump. With nothng stopping it, the Meteor continued its descent and the pair of draconic powers overwhelmed the singular Pump. Tux's attack ended, as the Meteor exploded from all the cold force hitting it-as well as colliding with Tux. The Penguin lied there, twinkling as the meteor pieces fell around him, adding to his iron like sheen. Almost as if he was withing a self made coffin.

The audience, after the smoke and debris were cleared out, gave both participants a standing ovation, as Tux rose from the water. Drucilla landed and enjoyed their applause before looking to the judges table.

Wow ok you guys got the idea very well. This is a tough one. Druciulla went for the big and impressive powers-and it worked well as they were able to overpower Tux. But Tux did somerthing unique here, and that was that he backed down. He let himself be absolved, and in a way (by using Iron Defense) he was able to be remembered even as all that was left was just destruction. Awesome dynamic I pulled from it.

Both Pokemon did a great job of setting each other up as well. Man this is tough. But, in the end, it seems Chris and Tux holds out. Drucilla and Dragonis, you two did a magnificent job as well, don't beat yourselves up over it. It was really really close.

But Chris 2.1 is the winner of our Bloomshine contest.

Chris gets 4 points and the Bloomshine badge....pending...
