As the next round begins, Kys traipses over toward where the HardRock orb sits atop its pedestal. The Togekiss daintily plucks the orb from its spot, causing a great slew of heavy rocks to materialize just short of the ceiling and tumble downward. They slam downward upon Snorunt and, because the move was executed with such Serene Grace, the little icy critter can’t seem to make a move.

She does, however, wake up. Huzzah!

Snorunt: <-14 HP; Flinch; Awake!>

Now that Snorunt is awake… it’s time to put her under again! Kys yawns melodramatically, causing Snorunt’s eyelids to grow heavy so soon. Still, she manages to unleash a blast of snow that pours into the battlefield and blankets itself upon Kys. Brr!

Snorunt: <-5 EP; Drowsy>
Kys-o-deth: <-12 HP; -3 EP>

Kys then closes her eyes and begins to hum gently. Using her own inner strength, she conjures up a ball of pure energy and hurls it at the Snorunt, who is thrown backward into a suit of armour. Aww. Darn Special Attack Boost! The Snow Hat Pokemon, ready to slump over with exhaustion at any moment now, nonetheless responds by kicking up a wind laced with flecks of snow that chills Kys through and through, resulting in her Speed dipping further.

Snorunt: <-15 HP; -5 EP>
Kys-o-deth: <-11 HP; -8 EP; -1 Spd>

The Toxic then increases in fury <-9 HP>.

If she wakes up, Yawn her. She stays asleep.

Otherwise....Grab Hard Rock's orb and smash her with it. Save us some energy. Then Thunderwave her. End with Aura Sphere. Smashing the living hell out of her.

At this point in time, as Snorunt teeters on the precipice of sleep, the last words the little critters hears before falling asleep are the words of her trainer to take a Rest.

Rest? Yeah, that doesn’t sound like such a bad idea.

As Snorunt drifts off into sleep, Kys panics, sensing the little winter hat’s attempt to regain health. Quick as can be, she begins roaring and raging in an attempt to wake up her foe. The sheer impact of the noise causes Snorunt to tumble backward and wake up before she can gain any of the health benefits of Resting.

The two fighters peer at one another, awake and alert. It’s on!

Snorunt: <-7 HP; -5 EP>
Kys-o-deth: <-4 EP>

A little slower than she was a few moments prior, Kys begins charging up an Aura Sphere, but can’t seem to execute it before Snorunt summons a raging Blizzard to do her bidding. Snow and ice rage into the arena, causing some pretty hefty damage to Kys, but she manages to unleash that energy ball. The attack connects with its target, sending Snorunt rolling backward.

Kys-o-deth: <-17 HP; -8 EP>

It comes to down this. After the Speed-sucking effects of one Rock Tomb and one Icy Wind, Kys begins charging up her final attack, but she never lives to see it unleashed upon her foe. One last winter storm howls through the pagoda, blanketing the field and the pedestals and the armours with snow and ice. When at last the snow screen fades, Kys’s body all curled up in the middle of a snowbank becomes apparent. She’s shivering for warmth and, soon, the shivering stops.

And, with that, the battle is decided!

The Toxic then finishes thins for Snorunt <-11 HP>.
