No he wouldnt.. your thinking of the games i think. Dig (down) isnt physical... so why would i Counter that. Yes dig is physical in general... but idk. Its up to the ref.

Dig (down) consumes EP and an action, but Dig (up) is when the attack is actually executed. Since Mirror Move doesn't recognize Dig (down) as an attack being used, Lickitung wouldn't either and therefore he wouldn't use Counter in this situation.

Sleep Talk until you wake up. When you wake up Counter everything.

If im correct, Taunt shouldnt work, im asleep. I have to be able to hear and acknowledge your insults for it to do anything. Also Focus Punch takes 2 moves... Oslo slap me if im being an anoyying backseat ref

Naw, no worries about backseat reffing. You're just trying to predict the way the ref is going to interpret the round, which is a smart way to battle. In this case, I agree that Taunt would not work on a Sleeping Pokemon. Focus Punch, however, is a one-action move, both here and in the games.
