Some kind of oversized Floatzel. And a douchebag at that. He captured some kind of dragon before, and boasts everywhere with that. I bet he wouldn't have suceeded, if his Buizels didn't help him." You command him to use Soundwaves, so the Basculin get lured away. It doesn't work out too good, instead of luring them away, they are getting joined by the male Basculin you saw before, as they recognize the noise as Jage's. It doesn't take long, and both parties start a fight for no explainable reason.

"I guuueeesss thaaaat woooorrrkkssss..." The Slakoth leads the way to another entrance, a lot bigger. You are stunned by the amazing structure. It looks like a big temple, right in the middle of the forest.

Suddenly, a big Pokémon lands in front of you.

"How dare you Slakoth? You know noone should find this temple. I think I have to sort this problem out by myself." The Tropius gets ready to attack. Uh-oh.

You decided that there's no point in talking, and you start to issue your commands. The Tropius isn't happy about that, and starts things out with a strong magical leaf, knocking all of your Pokémon back a fair bit. Patchy starts to dance in a weird, and derpish way, confusing pretty much everyone here, not only the Tropius. "Was this supposed to be an attack? Hah, you are weaker than I thought.." What he didn't notice is, that Santa and Lux got their ice surprise combo already done, and his feet froze completely, rendering him unable to move. He doesn't seem to notice that though. The Venipede also starts an attack, rolling and ramming into the Tropius with great force.

You decided to try and make a run for it. Jage speeds through the fighting mass as fast as he's able too, but it doesn't work out too well. He gets hit by a few moves by accident. At least you are getting through without being noticed, although a few Basculin turned their heads towards you in confusion.
"God... This hurts... I don't think I'm able to go on. You'll have to find your little friend by yourself, I'm waiting here for you.." Seems like a good idea, but you have no clue about what this whole thing is. You thought it had to be some sort of cave, but this is way more than that. It's a complete complex!
You notice a few Pokémon on patrol, scouting their surroundings. They didn't notice you yet.


There are a lot of possibilities on where to go, you have a tunnel to your right, one to the left and in front of you, where the two Wormadam patrol.

You continue to issue your commands, and Lux as well as Santa start concentrating. Their confusion seems to have vanished. Tropius wants to attack physically, but trips, since his feet are frozen, and he kisses the ground. Patchy wants to use trick but realizes it can't be used in the way you suggested, so he just asked him in a friendly way. "Gaaaah... You little... If I wasn't frozen in place, I would TOTALLY beat the hell out of you, but like that..." That doesn't help at all. Slakoth joins the talking. "Maaaaaaan, theeeyyy dooon't waaaaan to caaaaauuusse uuuus aaanyy haaaarm. Theeeeyyy eveeen brouuuuught preeeeseeeents fooooor theee chiiiieeeef.", pointing at Santa's bag. "Why didn't you tell me earlier?" "Looaaaafiiiin' arooouunnd." "Well, in that case. You are allowed to pass. But never come here again, right?" Venipede is also released from her Confusion.

You decide to leave the Pokémon behind and go into the temple. The walls seem to be made of pure gold, and there sure is a lot going on!

This has to be Slakoth Paradise! All the Slakoths are carrying berries, but you don't seem to spot on with your Great Balls. You see a few doors, one leading to some sort of storage room where all the Slakoth go into, one to a seemingly empty room, and one that leads to some kind of throne room. It's hard to tell without looking into them from a nearer distance.

Anyway, you enter the throne room and take another look around. The walls are still gold, but decorated with all sorts of colors, probably with fruits.
Then you see him, standing behind a huge tower of berries.

Santa steps forwards, hurling a nice present into Slakings direction. He notices you and your party, but opens the present anyway. It was a healing touch, but Slakings not impressed. In fact, he even gets a bit angry. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THIS? IT'S GONE ALREADY, THAT'S BORING!" You ask nicely if you can have your Great Balls back. "THESE ARE YOURS? WELL, NOT ANYMORE!"

You decided to take the left way, but wait until you are sure noone's around. You summon Belial to the field once more, and signal him to keep his voice down. Also, you ask if he hears Kindness. "Not quite boss... But I hear something else... It's coming from over there. Sounds like a few Pokémon are having a chat back there."

Lux, use Flash to distract the Slaking. During the ensuing confusion, Santa, create a present and Bestow it to Patchy. Patchy, I then want you to use Trick on the Slaking to get our Balls back.

Then Santa, I want you to use Swagger on the Slaking, hopefully confusing it enough to get it to attack its minions. Meanwhile, Lux use Flash on any attackers. Patchy, hand me the balls. If you only managed to get one, then...

Lux, use Flash on the Slaking again. Then Santa Bestow a Present to Patchy, and Patchy use Trick again to get the other Great Ball.

If we got both Great Balls initially, let's just flee~

Urgh. He doesn't seem like a very talkative person, so you decide to issue commands, and your Pokémon get moving once more. Lux releases a strong flash, causing Slaking to fall over, and hit the ground. Using the time they've got through this maneuver, Santa hands Patchy a present, who uses it to switch it with one of the Great Balls in Slakings hands, where the present explodes, causing minor damage to him. Slaking gets back up again, and doesn't look too pleased. "YOU ANNOYING LITLE BRATS. FEEL MY WRATH." He unleashes a Hyperbeam of enormous power, knocking Patchy into the wall. He doesn't seem to do too well. Slaking continues his vicious attacks, and lets out a strong roar, that echoes through the halls. "Wooooaah, yoooouuu guuuuyyss areeee fiiightiiiinnng theeee chiiiiieeeef? I'm sooooo oooouuut." Venipede doesn't seem to thrilled fighting against Slaking, and leaves the throne room as well. "HAHAHA. ARE YOU AFRAID?"
Santa steps out, but as there are no minions around Slaking, he decided it would be a better idea to not boost his attack even more. Lux flashes Slaking into the face again, lowering his accuracy a bit in the process, while Patchy hands the first Great ball to you. "DID YOU REALLY THINK THAT WOULD WORK?" Slaking jumped over to Patchy again, and chip chapped him into the wall without great effort. Lux tries to flash him again, but he just looks away this time, loafing around. Patchy and Santa go for another present switcheroo combo and suceed, but heal Slaking with the present. Not that he was hurt in the first place, but you could say it was bad luck none the less!

You act like you want to make a run for it, but slip over another stone and fall on the ground. The Floatzel starts laughing. Everythings going according to your plan. "What shall we do with her sire?" "Hm... Let's don't imprison her. Bring her to him." It seems like he saw through your plans. As you look around, you'll notice a tied up Dratini, however, your Seel's not in sight. Floatzel noticed your glimpse. "Hm... Let's wait with the Dratini. I think she should go see him alone." Well, fahk.
