You can no longer change your username manually.

However, if you post in the stickified topic in the vB Help forum, you can ask for your username to be changed. It can only be changed once, though.

You could abandon some of your Pokemon in replacement of the newer ones if you wanted to. Of course, it costs stamps and is usually frowned upon (doesn't change our view of you in any way since some Pokemon do need to be released but most decide not to)

Hey guys! Long time no see. I haven't been here in ages, so I thought I should start up again. I remembered how much fun I had here, and I missed this place, so.. here I am. ^^; However, I'm afraid I'm going to have to let go of two of my buds..

I think two of my Pokemon deserve a better trainer. I feel bad for them, since they have potential but haven't been able to bring out their best because I'm a lazy owner. ;-; I know I'll miss them, but I think they deserve better.

Gabi, I hope it's ok to post a suggestion here, but I have some thoughts about the adoption centers. I've noticed that a lot of Pokémon stay there for AGES, some seem to be there months, and so when there are updates, hardly any new ones come, because the old ones that not many people want to adopt stay there such a long time. My idea is - well I have a couple of ideas - that after a set time, like two weeks, or a different amount of time, of being in the centre without being adopted, the Pokémon gets a free TM, or increase in level. My idea is an incentive to adopt the less-popular ones that stay there forever. Or there can be a note by the Pokémon that the adopter will get a free item, something like that, or some stamps. That way I think less will stay there too long. Also, the idea of after a month or something, take out the ones that have been there that long, and put new ones. I know it sounds cruel, but they could have been adopted by someone other than us dragon tamers, by other trainers, and then it will give the dragon tamers more choices of Pokémon rather than seeing the same ones every time. Does what I said make sense? It's just an idea, I mentioned my ideas to Ade and he thinks they are good as well. I think it's sad to think of Pokémon languishing in the adoption center for so long, I really think we should do something so that they don't have to stay there so long. Anyway what do you think of my ideas? I won't be offended if you say they're not very good. And what do other dragon tamers think?

That sounds like a great idea! It's sad to see the Pokemon stay here for so long, and we should help them get a home faster by offering more with the pet, as Soo said. I hope Gabi will approve.. it's a really smart suggestion! Also.. the updates of new adoptees are usually the same Pokemon who never get adopted. Maybe we should do something about that, too?

Lady Vulpix G: Yes. I've done some of those things a few times. But there are many suggestions, so I think we should filter them and decide what to do one by one.
Lady Vulpix G: I think giving a free TM/item to those pokemon would be a good idea. Maybe not levels, because that could cause people to wait until they level up, leaving those pokemon at the AC even longer.

Lady Vulpix G: The idea of just taking them out doesn't appeal to me, though. Some pokemon have been adopted after being there for months, it's just a matter of waiting for the right trainer to come. But maybe we could post a poll about which pokemon they'd like to see up for adoption or something.
