Nobuo Uematsu - Festival of the Hunt

Bruiser holds his right fist to the tips of his lips before breathing a whip of flames at his rolled-up opponent. Whirlipede, still quite unsure why he's being attacked, responds with a shocking burst of poison that reacts to the poisons already infecting Bruiser's system. Bruiser winces in pain before retalliating with an icy fist, strenghened by the poisons in his body.

Whirl doubles back from the force of the attack before heightening his defenses to counteract Bruiser's increased strength just as Bruiser hits him with another punch, doused in flames this time.

Lelantos darts off in a haste as Lachesis sharpens his ax. After a few minutes of shaving off some unneeded armor, Lachesis turns around and fires off a powerful flash cannon. This Volcanic Island - previously hidden away; can now be seen from the shore. A massive pool of magma lies deep in its center, but one can walk down quite a ways and find a variety of Fire Types enjoying the heated tunnels. Some hardier Flying Pokemon line the edges of the Volcano as well. A tall Pagoda stands on the Island as well, the only man-made structure here. If you fish from shore, Water Pokemon encounter rates are the same as for Tranquil Shores.


Round EIGHTEEN
Ever so curious, you enter the shack and are greeted by another pokémon trying to sell off some wares:

"Afternoon, ladies and germs. My name is Gallon, and this here is my shop of helpful equipment designed to help you tackle Shinsuke and beyond! I trust you brought some bartering tools."

Feeling a little embarrassed about the previous few minutes, Lachesis takes charge by hurling his body forward swiftly. His smaller frame allows him to charge through the air and catch up to Lelantos easily.

Bruiser smirks, knowing that this battle will soon be over as he lights his fist aflame once more before slamming into his bug opponent. Whirl hisses in pain once more as you ready one of the four poké balls. Before Whirl can muster a counterattack, you whip the ball at him and suck him inside.

It doesn't even shake once before releasing him into the battlefield. Doesn't appear that the poké ball you threw is strong enough to catch this one. The poké ball lies a few feet away from Whirlipede, undamaged. However, the bug's got his eye on it.

Swiftly, Bruiser dives for the near-useless poké ball and lobs it to your hands before Whirlipede can destroy it. In his haste to get to the ball, however, he doesn't notice as the bug pokémon jabs him in the back with a venomous barb twice in rapid succession.

Bruiser staggers backward for a moment, poisoned by the hit greatly. Angered by the bug, he lights his fist on fire once more before slamming it into Whirlipede twice. The damage, however, is not enough to defeat his opponent.

Lachesis sheds a few more pounds before bolting through the sky even moreso. With his speed increased to maximum levels and Lelantos a healthy distance behind you, there's no way for him to catch up.

You continue speeding on your steel chariot until you eventually tag the flag!
