I really like the idea of a little ASB trading shop; breed Pokemon in the hatchery and sell them in the shop for a few points, more if the Pokemon has a tutor move or something. Then the shop stores the Pokemon and sells them on to new trainers for about 5 points! It could probably have other services too, but it'd be a cool way for people to get rid of their Pokemon without letting them rot in the pasture. Or maybe give the Pokemon in the pasture the ability to restock themselves by breeding? But that's just me getting carried away.

One of the problems, though, could be people buying loads of eggs then selling every Pokémon they get until they have loads of points.

Yeah I think it might be time to start adding Gen V Pokes to my team. Talk about behind the times. Add in a few more Pokemon for the mix and I'll have a nice Gym Leader team I can use when I eventually usurp one of the current Gym Leaders.

Oh and I'll get all eight badges by the end of this year. A Pokemon master I shall become.

The three new starters are making me much more excited for the game than the GenV starters did. And the big red dragon thing looks awesome.

Even if it's very unlikely that I buy the games. I can't remember the last time I played on my DS. I never even finished Heart Gold.

I remember reading about it in school with my Pokémon-obsessed friends and we both started screaming in the corridor when we were watching the trailer.

I think the starters are really cute, but I'll definitely be going Fire. I always used to go Fire Starter, but in Gen 5 I preferred Snivy. I love all the starters this time around, though the Grass-type is my least favourite.

Of course, I'll buy both games and in one I'll choose that adorable Fire Pokémon and the other I'll get the water starter :3

Gotta agree that GameFreak really stepped up their game with the starters. The Gen V starters had decent evolved forms, but their first stages didn't excite me. These newbies are spiffy. Hope they evolve into mega badasses.

And if we get one more Fire/Fighting starter, I'mma punch somebody. :U

Froakie looks to me like it's gonna be either pure water or water+ice for evolutions

And I'm willing to bet the grass starter's gonna be Ground+Grass for evolutions.

Well in the trailer, Chespin was seen what could be Night Slash. Fennekin was using Confusion/Psybeam and Froakie was using maybe Icy Wind, so take that what you will.

Well at least I probably got my prediction for froakie right xD
Although water types have always been able to use ice type moves, so that's really not saying much :l

True, I have used Ice Beam on my water starters for years.

But we also see Froakie using another move on a Patrat. If it was a fighting move then we'd have some very balanced starters. Chespin's Grass would be weak to Fennekin's Fire, but its Dark would be strong against its Psychic. Fennekin's would be strong against Froakie's Fighting and weak to its Water and Froakie would be strong against Chespin's Dark but weak to its Grass.

Would make a nice dynamic to be sure.

I like the legends, too, Xerneas and Yveltal. I love these names, they sound so mystical. I'm finding Yveltal a little more difficult to remember, but Xerneas is my favourite of the two, and it seems to be a little tip of the hat to Princess Mononoke (I've watched that movie so many times).
