You and your troupe break through the clearing, and see the mound in all its glory. The Shiftry is fast asleep. The Nuzleaf turns at the sound of footsteps and is not happy to see you three here. He begins spouting off about how he's not sharing.

Venus though, begins walking away again-obviously allured by some infections scent.

Huh, luck likes you. Nuzleaf is suddenly swooped upon by a Yanmega, and taken away. Oh man, nature's cruel! There seems to be a mix of berries here...and that Shiftry isn't getting up anytime soon. You look up and as your gaze rises past the Kakuna in the trees, that Yanmega heads toward something in the distance....

You keep an eye on Venus as you kneel down and start perusing through this horde. For the most part, these seem to be Mago and Aguav berries-ones you'd find in this type of climate....ahh but there's one Sitrus.

Few Oran berries, though they dun look so good.

You grab the Sitrus and keep moving, thinking now would be a good time to get Venus. You hike along the path she's making-and note that for a jungle, its pretty quiet. A few Paras skitter by, and Weepinbells hang from the trees.

Venus passes a tree abut when you reach it, yer stopped by a Pinsir. It clacks its headclaws together, which are saturated in berry juice. Its not looking for a fight.

What do you do?

Hydro walks up to the Pinsir and relays your question.

Hydro tells you that the Pinsir is not sure abut a specific type of berry, but that the one you hold doesn't grow that often here, and they're prolly scattered around. Pinsir then points to high up in the tree, where you an see a branch that has another Sitrus berry on it.

He goes on to say that they grow in small batches, but then Treecko's and Chatot's and Munchlax's eat them kinda quick. You look around you and then have a sudden heart racing feeling.

Venus is nowhere in sight!

You take off like a shot, with Hydro behind ya. Soon, you run into a clearing, and note the scent is intensly strong here. But, all that are around are petals and leaves! Oh and there's Venus, completely enamored with the scent...of a Honeycomb. A Vespiquen flutters from the comb, and watches this curious interloper carefully.

Over by the large petals, a Meganium emerges from the trees, looks down at one, but then shakes its head at it and walks away.

You run over to Venus, who is trying to get to the honey, and that strikes you as brilliant. The Vespiquen then comes down to you, Combee's following her. You ask if you could maybe ask for her blessing so that your team could be completely healed. The queen ponders this and then nods, saying she'll heal one and give enough honey to another to help considerably.

You hand over your points to the nice lady at the reception desk and an Abra teleports you to the Old Village, a barren, desolate old village with little to no signs of activity. You and your Pokemon survey the area, eying a Magnemite and Magneton floating by an old lamp post, taking turns turning the light on and off. A Togetic flies off into the distance. It seems like she's in a hurry.

As Lapras shows up at the scene to help her compadre both her and Misdreavus fire a small burst of lightning which flies across the field and strikes both the Abomasnow which struggle for a bit as they momentarily lose control of their bodies. Yet Abomasnow 1 manages to get back control of its bodies and slams Lapras with its body.

Shaking off the full body blow Lapras charges up a whirlpool of water which travels across the field like a tornado and traps the first Abomasnow in a watery grave. Misdreavus disappears and reappears behind the trapped Abomasnow and hits it with a quick slice. All the first Abomasnow can do is hold its breath to not drown while the other rams into Lapras.

Once agian shaking off the blow from the heavy Abomasnow, Lapras jumps into the air and comes down with a crash which creates a large fissure in the ground but it completely misses boths its targets. Misdreavus imiates her last move by giving a nice slice into the whirlpooled Abomasnow. The trapped Abomasnow manages to break free momentarily and smacks Lapras over the head. The second Abomasnow can only lie on the ground as its paralysis takes over once again.

As one of the Steelixs lies in a deep slumber the other one throws a bunch of rocks onto Swablu hurting her quite considerably. Her response is to bathe that Steelix in deep red flames which sizzle its rocky skin a bit. Cacnea just starts to charge up a ball of light energy.

Swablu opens its tiny little mouth and releases another spout of red hot flames which covers the first Steelix awash in flame. The Steelix retaliates by throwing another load of rocks onto the tiny bird. Cacnea releases the ball of light at the first Steelix causing it to roar in pain as it slams into the tunnel walls waking the second Steelix up.

Tanks looks at you kinda funny and manages to squeeze through somehow, only to get socked in the face by a bouncing Igglybuff who manages to lodge herself in a male Exploud's breathing tubes. Togetic shakes her head a few times, disoriented by her crash, and once she caught wind of what you wanted, she kinda spazzed out, flying straight into Tank's face. Another Togetic, a male one, reaches for the female and helps her back up to her feet. She relays what happened to him, and he stands in front of her protectively. Looks like he wants a fight. Frost spots the Nidoran male from before crawling and the Miltank's moos are practically drowned out by her violent-sounding Rollout.

Waving by the the Bee family, you ad the others make a mad dash for the village.

Back in the village, you stop running to catch your breath, Hydro stomps up behind you, dragging a worn out Venus. The three of you regroup, and once again, realize you're in the middle of town.

A Kecleon comes strutting out, all blue cause a water attack hit it? Didn't seem to mind though. Deep off in the sky, you see a Drifblim floating around.

Taking another side road, you end up on the backside of some old buildings. Nothing out of the ordinary here. A hole in the building leads you to peer in and see a Purugly.

Anyway, you keep on marching, and note the next building has a fire escape you can climb up...if you trust it. The window to that building is busted open, allowing easy access. Otherwise, the back alley leads on...
