But I want to do a double battle with Zofis my Dratini and Pachirisu. I haven't fully figured out the arena. But the reason I'm essentially asking this. Is that the area is going to be incredibly cloudy causing evasion. Essentially one attack from each pokemon would miss. I thought the ref could either decide by lottery/dice which attack would miss or if one of the players roleplayed their attacks in such a way that the ref could decide which attack would miss. Obviously any evasion attacks (i.e. double team) would be banned.

Would that be allowable??

I just got this weird idea and I don't know if anybody would like to go there with me. We could use an international site and do a battle in Japanese! The easiest way would be just shout the commands and Pokemon names in Japanese but if the ref is skilled enough, even a little more could be done.

Giving that a second thought, now, we could add translations everywhere so it wouldn't be so obscure. By then again, what would be the point in fighting in Japanese if the English translation is everywhere. Anyways, here's an example of a reply:

o.o Blade this is at least my third attempt at ASB. First was some stage but I don't remember it but had to be when TPM was still fairly popular. The second was in 2009 but the pokemon contest never got completed which was disappointing and then I got sick of pokemon again. This time I have completed a pokemon contest and are halfway losing to MLG in a battle.

And yes I would love to battle you. I'll set up a post sometime today or tomorrow with the field and stuff. I'd like to improve my roleplaying cause it just seems to be unnecessary words but I don't want to just issues three attacks o.o. All we need now is a ref.

Wish it were that, would probably be more exciting than what I've been doing.

I owe an explanation for my absence, mostly it's been boredom with a combination of shit happening left and right. Now sure what all I've told everyone, but here's a recap:

First off, a year ago in March my GF broke up with me. Then I graduated Last May with my Masters (finaly) so I can do research and people will be able to take me seriously now. I spent the summer dicking around and working because I'm still a poor college student, wasn't able to make SVP in Las Vegas this Fall, applied for a PhD program in Columbia Missouri but didn't compare to the other applicants so they couldn't submit my name for the fellowship funding. Last weekend I went to Kawa Kon in St. Louis and talked with some of the artists from the Artists Alley and an considering giving that a shot next year, selling my art and commissions for people who would be interested in buying my shite. In a little over a week I have a presentation at the Kansas Academy of Sciences in which I give an overview and brief description of a Desmatocelys lowii (an extinct Protostegid turtle) from Kansas which is the first reported one from KS with a skull associated with post-cranial material that I prepared two years ago. The presentation's half-way completed but my thoughts are still scrambled (and my co-author lives about two hours westward).

Allin all I'm having a bit of a crisis. I don't know if I should continue on my Paleontology Track (which is something I've wanted to do since I was 3) or focus more on my art. Right now I doubt I have the concentration and focus to emphasize both, but I enjoy both so much I can't decide which I want to do more.

On thing's for sure... I have to find a way to STOP DELIVERING TACOS for a living. >.<!

Denz: I've learned that even the dreams we had when we were 3/4 need a moment of reflection. Get your money up and your life stable, and then hit Paleo full force. S'wha I'm doing. I can't halfass both now, I need to focus on making sure I have nothing to worry about before I can really get this lifestyle that I want for myself. That same should go for you. There's gotta be a way for you to get away from taco deliveries, even if it is art commissions. Something so it keeps you stable and you have very little to worry about (that includes debt). Then hit Paleo so hard it bleeds little Denny beards.

Also, it's nearly been four years since I last had a girlfriend. Huh...time flies.

If you're unsure whether to pursue archeology, or art, then take a long hard think in a nice calm, quiet environment and weigh up the positives and negatives of each and come to a sound and strong decision. Failing that, flip a coin.

What I was thinking was: I can do both, but I need to be able to focus fully on both (which is the trick). If I can get enough art prints done that they can be able to support my paleo endeavors, then I'd be going to Paleo Meetings and Anime Conventions in a mixture of Career and Fun that would make any 3 year-old dream.

Besides, I need publications in order for any PhD program to 'overlook' my horrible academia issues.

Now then I have a question for you guys according to the article on bulbapedia about the ASB

it says that all ASB descend from a scant few games played in 2000 on the original Universal Pokémon Network forums on an ad-hoc basis, the way those games were played (several without even a referee) bear little resemblance to the ones played currently.

I am wondering were these games called by any chance Gekitou?

if so then that means in a way I founded the ASB do to the fact that the RPG I took part in at Planet Community was in fact called Gekitou not Gecko, and as you know that at Planet Community my charter in Gekitou was a Pokémon trainer with a shiny black Charizard named King.

I think of my Charzard here in the ASB as being the same one ?I had in Gekitou or at lest he is meant to symbolize the same charter I created back then.
