The sacrifice of two...? Does it want me to break my pokeballs? Or to catch something? Huh.

Anyways guys, now that you're able to help me out, we need to break through to that Aggron. Champ, use Disable to hold him in place, while Freya hits him with more a sand tomb and two more Earthquakes. Aegislash, use Magnet Rise to get you and Champ off the ground so you're not hit by those earthquakes, and I'll recall Warren for the time being because he needs to rest and he'll be vital later. Falconzord, I want you to protect Freya; if it uses blizzard/ice beam again, intercept with a protect (but not twice in a row so protect doesn't fail); otherwise, mimic Freya's Earthquakes to keep up the hurt on that thing. We're going to need to subdue him before we can break through. With the remaining turns, Champ and Aegislash, I want Champ to use hypnosis to hopefully put him to sleep while he's being held in place, then hit him with a Scald. Aegislash, hit it with two sacred swords.

There is a stairway in front of you, and the broken down doorway to the left, as well as another door that doesn't seem to lead anywhere. Now, on further inspection, you see that the doorway leads further down, and some noises are originating from there.

You hear a loud scream from Aggron, it seems like it suffers a lot from whatever the maniac did to him. You can do nothing but watch, as the Aggron grows to twice its original size, constantly screaming.

...Well, shit. Poor Aggron :c

Well it seems like the best course of action here would be to subdue it; Houndour, could you use a combo of torment and roar it to stop it using Blizzard again and freeze it in place, then use Will-o-Wisp to weaken it further? Then Champ, use hypnosis to send it off to sleep when it's been held in place, and hit it with two hydro pumps. Aegislash, proceed as before and use magnet rise and two sacred swords; same thing for Falcon, just use the protect/mimic idea from earlier. I'll also release Warren and have him try to break through to Aggron with psychic like he did with Freya, or at least subdue him. Freya, stick with sand tomb and two earthquakes.

If by the end he's sleeping and burnt, I'll try throwing the ball.

[Cynder's Perspective]

"Meet your end." Everyone issues commands. You get into motion and remove yourself from the situation, as suddenly another trainer, Aura joins the fray. She seems to assist you and sent the Houndour as well.



"A trainer more or less doesn't matter. I will enjoy tearing you two apart. HAHAHAHA!" The maniac seems to be in her element. Madness. Your Pokémon start the fight against the giant enemy. You decide on a subdue strategy, and your Pokémon get to work. While Freya, Warren, Falconzord and Belial try to keep it in place, Aegislash picks up Champ for a close up Hypnosis, however, it doesn't seem like the Aggron cares much for this in it's extreme pain. Not that it didn't work, but all the pain that it's being subject to, made it wake up immediately. However, it still couldn't move, thanks for the collaborated efforts of your Pokémon.

For the next batch of commands, Belial starts to analyse his opponent. It appears, that their HP is... high. Gee, thanks! The next trick is almost as helpful, as two earthquakes, combined from Freya and Falconzord, knock Warren right out. Ouch, that plan backfired! You look up to Aggron, who doesn't seem too shaken about the situation as well... He doesn't seem like he received a lot of damage from that.. Also, Houndour receives his full share of shakyness as well, while Champ and Aegislash relax in the air a bit, before unleashing a fiery sacred sword - hydro pump combo. The Aggron, screaming in pain, slams into the Houndour full force with a Heavy Slam to retaliate.

Freya and Falconzord continue their massive shaking, and while Belial sees himself fainting already, he is miraculously saved by the Aggron's attempt of using Blizzard, which led to Falconzord protecting himself instead. Aegislash, afraid of Champ getting hurt, ignored your orders and used King's Shield instead, with Champ fortifying it by using a protect of her own. Belial, saved last second from the earthquake, didn't expect the full blizzard in his direction, and takes a last sad look towards you, before being knocked out by the cold. Falconzord in the meantime, almost falls to his exhaustion...

[Aura's Perspective]

"This ain't looking to good, boss." Seth seems a bit agitated, but not too worried. He nods at your commands and takes flight around the monstrous Aggron. Cynder issues her commands as well, and everyone gets moving for yet another round of action. The maniac seems to enjoy herself. "Pfffft... Haha... Hahahaha... You're STILL fighting back? You two are really something. Something dead, very soon."



The Pokémon start moving for this showdown of sorts. Aegislash begins by executing your commands, and uses spite to make the use of blizzard even harder for the raging Aggron, while he moves closer for Champ to deliver a strong focus punch into the Aggron's guts, who doesn't seem to shaken about it. Freya, seeing her allies fallen to her own Earthquake, is filled with a rage and continues her Earthquake in an even stronger fashion. Critical hit! The Aggron groans loudly, and retaliates with yet another heavy slam into Freya. Seth comes back to deliver his first report. "This isn't looking to good boss, it doesn't seem to show any sign of exhaustion..."

"First I will destroy your Pokémon, your oh-so-precious Mega Garchomp, and then I will erase you from existence! Aggron! Freeze them into oblivion!" Aggron screams in pain once more, and unleashes a strong ice beam, Freya, ignoring your commands, continues to shake the earth, and Aegislash barely manages to save her in time with King's Shield and a Protect from Champ. Seth analyses once more, and reports back. "I've... I've never seen something like this ability... it seems like... a huge protective barrier?!" The sandstorm fades as well.

Once again, Freya shakes the earth, while Aggron continues his assault. "Protect from super effective moves, huh? Go, Heavy Slam her again!" The maniac shouts. Aegislash, torn between your commands, decides to ignore you to protect Freya from harm once more, seemingly exhausted, while Champ does the same. It doesn't look like they can keep this up for long... Seth reports back one last time, and brings some new results in. I... checked upon its current vitals... and I think I understand why she needed a Mega Pokémon...

Okay Champ, we really need to rest and regroup. Could you hold our Aggron friend still with Disable, then use a psych up to copy its attack boosts? Provided it doesn't start moving again finish up with a relax, otherwise use disable again. You're doing and awesome job, keep it up!

Aegislash, prioritise protecting Champ while she puts Aggron to sleep, you'll have some help from Freya as well. Then just relax and gain back some of that energy, you'll need it.

Freya, you're doing absolutely brilliantly so far! Start off with a protect to stop Champ taking any damage, but make sure you don't obstruct her hypnosis because for this to work we NEED Aggron to be asleep. Then use rest to gain back some HP, and relax for as long as you're asleep.

In the meantime, I'll take a look around the arena and see if there's anything I can use to heal anyone!

[Cynder's Perspective]

You look around. Everyone seems exhausted and barely finds the strength to fight back. But this fight is not over yet! You issue another batch of commands, while Aura does the same.



While Champ tries to hold the Aggron in place and barely suceeds, Champ focusses on protecting her, while Seth flies in to analyse the current situation. Freya, still enraged, throws another Earthquake. As Seth returns, he seems astonished. "It's weird... it's really, really weird.." You immediately see why. Seeing that no action was necessary, Aegislash relaxes a bit.

[ -36 HP ]

"You delayed your end a bit longer, so what? You will still fall, sooner or later." The maniac giggles. Suddenly, the Aggron sheds a huge part of itself, while unleashing a barrage of stones towards Freya and Seth. Seth, remembering his trainer's commands, prioritizes his own safety, and throws up a protect to shield himself from the onslaught. The sudden speed boost however, makes it move a lot faster than before, hitting Freya who keeps ignoring your commands to shake the ground, much to her own demise. As your treasured Mega Garchomp slumps to the ground you fall on your knees as well. Is it... over? The maniac seems to be celebrating. "It's working... I beat... Mega Evolution! I am victorious! I created the ultimate power... the only true power in this world! Haha... HAHAHAHA!" Aegislash relaxes, while Psyduck tries to copy the stat boosts from Aggron, however, they immediately vanish again... Seems like they are bound to the Aggron's Lockdown state somehow...

Deciding that you probably won't find Terrakion inside of a grave, you leave the wonky looking gravestone alone. As you turn around to talk to the two Pokémon you saw earlier, they don't seem to be in sight anywhere... In fact, it is extremely silent... Too silent.

Suddenly, violet flames shoot from all directions, almost hitting you directly, but Marauder and Excellence protect you from harm last second. What was that all about? You try to make out the source of the attack, but can't seem to find anything suspicious looking. In front of you is still the big, new building, the sign says: "The creator's chamber - DO NOT DISTURB"

Madness, mayhem, destruction everywhere... So many unconscious Pokémon. It really looks like all is lost, doesn't it. You shout a few more commands, Cynder directs her words at the Aegislash and Psyduck, to prepare for a final assault.



"This body... Served as a fine vessel... I think... I think I can up its power even more... Haha... HAHAHAHA!" The maniac opens up the device from earlier, and hits a hidden button underneath it. "A power... far greater than anyone could ever imagine... And you two will be the first to experience it! Isn't it exciting? I love when things work out the way I want.... Haha.... Hahahaha.... HAHAHAHAHA!" Suddenly, the Aggron is filled with even more shadows, in fact, you can't even recognise it as an Aggron anymore... It really is nothing but a vessel for a madman's experiments...

[ Shadow Lockdown | Mega Lockdown ]

"Witness the true power of the Shadow Lockdown! I will CRUSH you, KILL you, DESTROY you!" A giant shockwave origins from the former Aggron, and you fall to the ground by the intense powers. Your Pokémon get moving none the less, discouraged, but willing to fight for you. Champ sets up a wall of protective shields and fires a simple beam, while Aegislash sets up a sword dance and approaches the Aggron to attack with Sacred Sword. Seth in the meantime does the same to buff himself up, but watches closely if any of his allies get hurt. Suddenly, a giant stream of shadows flies directly at the approaching Aegislash, but Seth flies in swiftly and uses a Protect, shielding him from harm. As the protect seems to almost break, Aegislash fortifies this defense with a King's Shield and decides to help out his allies instead.

You look over to see how Cynder's doing, it seems like she's looking into her bag, focussed. You come a bit closer and see that the inside is shining even brighter than before. The weird Pokéball in her pocket seems to be the source of it!

"Oh chosen one. It appears that thy opponent is consumed by the hatred of your nemesis. It has evolved to a stage far beyond Mega Evolution, for the better or for the worse. It won't take long until the Pokémon draws it's final breath. I have given you the tools for their salvation, now it's up to you to end this all."
