You approach the two groundlings and ask them a few questions -- mostly about the whereabouts of this mysterious waterfall you've heard so much about. Phanpy seems to know more about it than Sandshrew, though.

"The waterfall? Yeah, it's about three kilometers west of here. My folks won't let me go 'round those parts though -- they say it's dangerous for a ground type like me."

    Sounds pretty trustworthy.

    What's your next move, Ayeun?

    Take a breather.
    Head westward!

A strange town, all within the treetops. Long since abandoned by humans, the MASSIVE amount of Pokemon that live here all seem a bit strange and off kilter. The completely aerial town is connected by boards, and the homes all resemble traditional Japanese style. One would think the townspeople were turned into Pokemon here!

With Gin currently AWOL, you summon Alexander to lead the charge for his safety. But you can't be too careful, however, and Alexander activates his hidden talent, and a hailstorm is whipped up.

The foliage doesn't take too kindly to the sudden change in climate, but Alexander persists, keeping you cloaked in snow. You keep moving forward until you start to hear squeals coming from up ahead. They're not familiar, however...

    What's your next move, Ghosts?

    Keep moving.

    Round FIFTY-SEVEN
You finally lose the bird (or so you think), and turn back around to head back towards the beach. Probably not your best move, however. Pelipper emerges from the trees to exact his revenge, but Tweety remains on the ready, firing off another whirlwind to knock him back some more.

He doesn't seem to be trying anymore though, but it'd be unwise to put him at the back of your mind just yet. After a few more minutes of moseying, you return to the beach only to find... no pokemon whatsoever. It's almost kinda quaint.

To your left, you see an old wooden dock stretching about ten meters out into the ocean. Mayhaps you'll find some rods over that way?

Seems a little mean that you're having a bug stand lookout for a bird, but you sound like you know what you're doing. You reach the worn dock and head towards the edge, finding an equally old fishing rod leaning against the railway.

Pelipper, meanwhile, approaches from behind, and the professor smirks devilishly. A fizzling electricity erupts from his fingertips, and like a bat out of hell, Pelipper darts away, possibly forever.

You cast out the line as your three pokemon rest at your side. Fishing is a sport about patience and peace of mind, so it comes to a surprise to you that after only thirty seconds, your line tugs! You've got a bite!

    Rules for Fishing:
Once you get a bite, your line will tug for about half a second, and you'll instinctively tug it. Once you've done that, you'll have to reel it in!

    Reel in very slowly (10RPM).
    Reel in slowly (20RPM).
    Reel in quickly (30RPM).
    Reel in very quickly (40RPM).

You'll hafta be very careful in choosing, though. If you reel in too quickly, your line will snap; too slow, and your catch could free itself and get away!

A small cove-style beach. There are lots of ocean pokémon to be found here, as well as Fire types enjoying the sun. Some ground types can also be found.

    Round SIXTY-SIX
No point in wasting time now; you speed up your reeling speed to better results. It's still a struggle, of course, but after a long fight, you finally manage to reel in whatever it was that was tugging:

Pretty, but I sadly already own one of you. Throw it back and recast.

A dangerous quarry home to Rock and Ground types. Footing is loose, and there's always work being done. A few Fighting types and some rare Steel types also make their homes here.

    Round FORTY-FOUR
Relaxation time is over! Time to find that waterfall! Squish darts forward into a pretty wicked sprint as Axew struggles to follow suit. You shrug your shoulders, thinking it might be nice to have a scrappy young ally, and charge after the two pokemon.

    Axew joins the party!

After a good few minutes of running, Squish slows down. Sprinting is clearly not her forte, but it doesn't matter -- you can hear the sound of water crashing into itself. Won't be long now!

    What's your next move, Ayeun?

    Keep going!
    Nah... waterfalls are for suckers!

    Round SIXTY-NINE
Getting quite frustrated at this easy-going sport for lazy people, you let the mantine go free and cast your line out once more. The hook sails through the air swiftly before hitting the ocean with a loud "plop".

You don't get any bites for awhile, but the winds begin to pick up -- as a chill brushes against you, you jerk back, and your hook snags something strange...

You start to reel it in, but it's providing no resistance whatsoever.
