Clothes ARE so boying these days.. I've tried making my own clothes - but my idea of cool may get me beaten up, so I've stopped making every day clothes and just devoted my fasion designing to cosplay.. hehe

btw, your hair is *so* cool! If it was green, you'd beable to pull off a wicked Sailor Neptune!

(I actually first thought it was green, but being the colour blind idiot i am, I read that it's purple then realized that it is purple XD)

I guess I'll have to keep my costumes away from the computer screen then! ...due to the fact that an empty threat would definately not make me stop posting pictures of my cosplay. If you truly, rightfully feel uncomfortable while viewing the pictures, I'll discuss it with people in TM and we'll see what sort of arrangements we can take to make sure that I can post my pictures without you having to see them. (possibly a warning before I post them - would that be all right for you?)

Or you could stop posting them. Because seriously, dude, theres a difference between being open about being gay, and dressing in drag.

The latter is not the least bit respectible to normal people. I don't care wether you like men or women, just please. Leave the dresses to the women who want to wear dresses...

Cosplay is my hobby. I enjoy creating the costumes, as well as wearing them. It's fun for me. I cosplay to entertain myself, and my friends. I cosplay my favorite characters.

I DON'T cosplay to express my homosexuality. I DON'T cosplay due to any gender confusions. I'm WAY past my "Look at me I'm so gay and I'm so proud!" stage.

You will not take away my right to post my cosplay pictures here. That right is my choice and my choice only.

In saying that, I say this: I chose not to post my cosplay pictures here, anymore. You may view it as you "win", I "lose." but I view it as you don't deserve to see these pictures.

You got a knack for stiching, design, etc. (you make these, correct?), I'd just rather not see in wearing a few of them.

I mean, would like to see me wearing my underwear collection? Not that I have one, but you get the idea.

Me seeing your underwear collection is totally different from me crossplaying. I'm not in anyway being sexual towards you. I'm not being dress scantily clad, or if I appear to be I'd actually be in a skin coloured body suit. I know you aren't against my talents in making costumes, you're just against what I make/wear with my talents.

I really appreicate your reply, Raz. I have no hard feelings. I'm just really sick and tired of being labled, and I'm sick and tired of people thinking they know me better than I know myself. TMM's post sparked my post about the issue of the difference between cosplay and being gay more than yours - so don't worry.

Also, I'm not mad at you, TMM.. just frustrated.

It's perhaps worth noting there is a BIG difference between drag (which I suppose we may as well call what Nine is doing that...) and transvestiteism (not even sure that's a word or if thats spelt right hurrah).

I thought Nine's cosplay pics were fun.

If you don't like something, no-one is FORCING you to look at it.
If he'd been trying to 100% turn himself into a woman (looks wise), then maybe, just MAYBE you could claim it's offensive, but right now to say anything negative about it would just be immature and intolerant.

This wasn't directed at anyone, it's just a general statement

Here is a pic of me. It is pretty old. I took it in the summer. If I can im going to try to get a more recent one.

Those are some pretty good pics so far. The one with Soo and Ade is really good! And I think that Nine's cosplay pics are cool. I mean my opinion doesn't really matter, but I still think they are cool.

Don't insult me like that. I had no intention of hurting NT's feelings or dissing his hobby.

I think the better solution, rather than NT stop posting them, is to simply attach his pcis (a link to them). I think its a win-win for everyone.

Otherwise, I'll just leave the thread and you all can go about business as usual. No one is forcing me to post to me post here. I can't take the heat, so I'll leave the barn.

On a releated not, NT could fare very well in the costume business. Halloween, plays, etc. It could be the start his own business.

I'm sorry to have offended you Nine. But I'm really not sorry we lost the "privelige" of you posting pictures you could easily put on a site and warn us about. This way you basically are forcing us to look at them, or not go into the topic.

By putting it as an image in his post, he is. It's either look at the picture or leave the topic...not too fair.

Seeing others want to see them - how about warning tags? Would that be ok? (that sounds sarcastic, but I'm not being sarcastic btw ^^; )

I just would like to ask though, what is so offencive about a guy dressing in women's clothing? Why does it make you feel so uncomfortable? Do you get uncomfortable when you see women dressed in guys clothing?

It is something I do not find pleasent to the eye. Male specific clothing has become much more asexual over the years. Things like jeans were once male work clothes are now casual clothes for both genders. On the other hand female clothing remains just that. You will find women in business clothes, but you'll rarely find many guys in a dress (at least in our culture).

I really didn't intend for this to be such a big deal (in my orginal post I was mildy joking). Like I said, a guy in a dress is just something I don't find appealing to my eyes. Nothing personal, it's just me.

If people like your cosplay, then the majority has spoken. No one is forcing me to look at this thread, and you all can get back to posting pictures.

Erm... again, just out of curiosity, what culture is that? Apparently you and I live in entirely different community areas (which is very likely), or perhaps you don't get out much. Then again, I do work at a theater (it is quite often my job to put men in dresses, and you meet some interesting people...), and my pseudo-mother is a drag queen (he was Miss Gay TN in 1994 ... sadly, he makes a better looking woman than I do). Hehe. That's Sylvia. We play a lot. I touch her with my foot and she "attacks" it. She's not really too bice though... She's a neurotic, inbred little fuzzy thing, but I love her nonetheless.

Hmm... She looks happier in this one.

My friend gave me this drop-dead gorgeous shirt a while back. I love it, I love it, I love it! Too bad I don't have many places to wear it at. I suppose I'll let you guys see a picture of it.

And yes, I am wearing something underneath, though it doesn't really look like it.
