    Round 16 (6)
In rapid succession, Steak fires off not one, but two thunderbolts that shock the dragon quite easily [ -18HP + -18HP Gyarados / -14PP Steak ]. The dragonmon roars angrily, but can't react with his body strickened with the paralysis.

After the attack, Steak does some things that we won't mention and then magically heals her wounds [ +15HP, -15PP Steak ]. Gyarados angrily chomps down hard on the cowmon [ -6HP Steak / -3PP Gyarados ] when he's able to counterattack.

Keep the dual-thunderbolts coming, and then take a breather.

This wide expanse of icy land extends as far as the eyes can see. Rolling snow dunes and harsh hailing conditions make it an idea place for Ice Pokemon, and only the sturdiest of winter loving beasts.

    Round 61
With a very confused stare, you question what just happened.

    "Had to do it, boss."

"He is correct, Sir. At that rate we were falling, we wouldn'tve made it out of that situation alive. We had to get out of there."

You shrug it off and clutch your parka closer together -- the winds are a lot bitier in this location, and it's snowing. Rawk Hawk's level of comfort is dwindling, as well as Thunderhand's. However, Lapras and Grand Star seem to be handling it well.

A smoochum hobbles around a few feet ahead. She's got something blue in her hand, waving it around.

    Round 18 (8)
Steak stands aside and allows you to lob the great ball at the beast. Gyarados is too paralyzed to escape it as it bounces off his blue scales and sucks him inside.

The ball falls into the water but floats up a few seconds later, much to your relief.

    It shakes once.

    Twice.

    Three times.

    -Ping-

The dark-blue colored ball locks in place. Congratulations, Gyarados is yours!

But alright. I'd rather be disobeyed than dead.

Rawk, return for a little bit. You're shaking like Michael J. Fox playing Wii Sports in Haiti.

Now then... Whatcha got there, Smoochum? You aren't gonna hit me with it, are you?

My next move is to shake my fist at Greyfox the heavens for misguiding me. Bastards.

Grand Star, I hate to hurt you, but Lapras here doesn't have a Poke Ball to rest in, and she's pretty banged up from that battle with Regice... Would you use Pain Split and give her a bit of your health?

Anyway... Smoochum, where didja find that feather?

    Round 1
You exit the Safari Zone's main gate into the quarry. The area looks incredibly intimidating, but you put your mind at ease as soon as you spot Sterling's confident gaze. The two of you walk and fly (respectively) peacefully through the zone noting its many sights: old, sealed off mineshafts to the right of you, and a lot of archaic construction equipment to the left.

After about five minutes of walking, you happen across a tyrogue and a machop sparring with one another.

A dangerous quarry home to Rock and Ground types. Footing is loose, and there's always work being done. A few Fighting types and some rare Steel types also make their homes here. Within the mining tunnles you may find a few rare passages...

    Round 6
Your attempts to apologize to the groggy pokemon don't pan out so well; Gabite looks angry and begins approaching you slowly.

This wide expanse of icy land extends as far as the eyes can see. Rolling snow dunes and harsh hailing conditions make it an idea place for Ice Pokemon, and only the sturdiest of winter loving beasts.

    Round 68
The hailstorm becomes more and more apparent as it starts biting down hard. Three of your pokemon begin feeling its effects while Lapras tries to remain calm. The four of you charge forward, damning the snow in desperate hope to find some shelter.

You spot something in the distance! It appears to be a... cave of some sort?

Okay, let's get back outside. We can take on one, but probably not both of them... Let him know we won't bother them again.

Everybody Protect yourselves (and me, if you don't mind!) and get in that cave! Lapras and Grand Star, Ice Beam the mouth of the cave shut behind us so the wind and ice don't get in.

    Round 7
Your skarmory's words aren't having any effect, and now both pokemon are coming at you. Sterling takes matters into her own hands and latches her teeth into your jacket before fluttering out of the cave.

You fly a good twenty feet before landing -- the two pokemon don't seem to be chasing you at all.

    Round 69
You and your pokemon charge forward towards what you hope is a cave. The hailstorm becomes more and more apparent as chunks of ice fall faster and faster, banging against your protective barriers [ -10PP Rawk Hawk, Grand Star, Thunderhand ].

They fade away just in time for you all to dive into the large cave. The winds calm down as Lapras and Grand Star seal the entrance with a wall of ice [ -5PP Lapras, Grand Star ].

Looking around you spot a lofting glalie and snorunt family. The cave doesn't extend much further, but there are a few alcoves.

I'm gonna ask the locals about this feather, and if they know much about the geography of this place.

Also, I'm gonna ask them if they mind if we stay here until the storm passes.

He bobs his head up and down before pointing his gaze toward the alcoves.
