Eriko starts this round off by closing her eyes, taking a relaxing deep breath, and focusing her mind. A faint aura seems to surround her as the meditative attack boosts her elemental powers. Incidentally, she seems calm enough now that her confusion is gone. Serenity looks hesitantly at Eriko and begins to clap her hands together. For some bizarre reason, the whole audience gets in on it, applauding madly, whooping and hollering. A spotlight seems to shine through the sandstorm, straight onto Eriko, who blushes. (-3% EN Eriko, -2% EN Serenity)
Eriko feels so good about how well her last attack was received that she does it again. Once more, the Jynx focuses her mind, still padding her stats. However, Serenity has different plans: she holds her hands together and begins to form an orb of negative energy between them. When she deems it large enough, the Shadow Ball is sent flying through the sand, straight into Eriko. Eriko stumbles back, her eyes flying open. (-10% HP Eriko, -3% EN Eriko, -6% EN Serenity)
Eriko scowls and steps forward. She stretches her arms out and summons a jet of powerful, glowing water. It pierces the sandstorm, but impacts hard with a translucent, orange barrier that seemed to appear out of nowhere. However, some of the Water Pulse does filter through and hits Serenity, soaking her and causing her to drop the shield. (-5% HP Serenity, -5% EN Serenity, -5% EN Eriko)
As the roudn ends, both fighters feel the familiar sting of the sandstorm. (-2% HP both)

This round gets off to a quick start as Eriko winks out of existance and reappears directly behind Serenity. Serenity, however, has her eyes closed and notices none of this: she is psychically probing the area for minds. The Illumise locates Eriko's mind, takes note of how the Jynx is feeling, and copies her, effectly giving Serenity the same special boosts that the Jynx has. (-4% EN Eriko, -6% EN Serenity)
Eriko, however, does not give Serenity an opportunity to use the newfound boosts: as Serenity turns around, the Jynx fires a frosty beam of snow and ice directly into her face. Serenity tumbles backwards, the severe temperatures freezing the water on her body and restricting her. However, this doesn't stop her from firing a single bolt of electricity that cuts straight through the sandstorm and zaps Eriko. (-10% HP Serenity, -7% HP Eriko, -5% EN Eriko, -5% EN Serenity)
Serenity slowly gets back to her feet and begins to charge a black orb of ghostly energy in between her stubby little arms. Eriko frowns, but does nothing save stepping back a few feet. The Shadow Ball reaches its maximum size and Serenity releases it, but it neatly deflects off of the protective shield that Eriko manages to erect just in time. (-6% EN Serenity, -7% EN Eriko)
As the round ends, both battlers are relieved to see the sandstorm slacken off.

Both Pokemon start off this round by closing their eyes and praying, Eriko doing so a little before Serenity. Both Pokemon try and enforce their will on the weather gods of the Pokemon world, and the gods seem to reply to both. Clouds roll over the sky quickly in response to Eriko, but before they can begin to drop their icy cargo, a ray of sunshine pierces them. The ray grows larger and larger until all the clouds are gone; heat radiates down on the arena, making the Ice-type Eriko slightly uncomfortable. An added benefit of the sun is that the ice surrounding Serenity melts off in a timely fashion.(-6% EN Eriko, -6% EN Serenity)
Eriko shakes her head and focuses her mind. She straightens her arms out and murmurs something in an unknown language: as if in response to her call, a chill wind whips up out of nowhere, although its power is somewhat diminished by the severe heat. However, Serenity isn't having any of that and summons a wind of her own, this one laced with sparkly silver dust. The Silver Wind, unhindered by the sun, easily tears through Eriko's Icy Wind (albeit at a small sacrifice of power) and strikes the Jynx herself. (-6% HP Eriko, -4% EN Eriko, -4% EN Serenity)
Serenity chuckles and, while Eriko is regaining her composure, begins to absorb the sun's rays. Thanks to the Sunny Day in effect, the Solarbeam charges super-quickly, and Serenity fires it with a smile. Eriko takes the blow and skids back, only to fire an attack of her own: the Jynx forms a ball of negative energy in between her hands and throws it like a bowling ball at the smirking Illumise. The smile is quickly wiped off of Serenity's face as the Shadow Ball hits. (-13% HP Eriko, -8% HP Serenity, -6% EN Eriko, -9% EN Serenity)

Serenity gets this round off to a quick start by adopting a 3-point stance, like a football player. Without warning, she zips off, slamming into Eriko with a high-speed, full-body tackle. Eriko stumbles back a few steps, but does't otherwise seem terribly affected. However, she is in perfect range to perfrom her next attack: grabbing the Illumise's face with both hands, Eriko plants a big sloppy one straight on Serenity's lips, complete with plenty of hallucinogenic saliva. Serenity succumbs to the Lovely Kiss... partially out of pure disgust. (-4% HP Eriko, -3% EN Serenity, -4% EN Eriko)
With Serenity sleeping like a very grossed-out baby, Eriko takes her time in coughing up a noxious ball of purple slidge. She spits it straight at Serenity, who stirs but doesn't wake. (-5% EN Eriko)
Eriko smirks (although the Toxic left a bit of a nasty taste in her mouth) and begins to wave her arms in a circular manner. A cold wind whips up out of nowhere and whirls around the arena, focusing on Serenity. The wind carries small pieces of ice and snow, which drive into the Illumise's skin like tiny needles... but the bright sunlight hampers the Blizzard somewhat. Serenity shivers but still doesn't waken. (-10% EN Serenity, -8% EN Eriko)
The poison seeps into Serenity's skin and starts attacking her from the inside. (-1% HP Serenity)

Eriko glares across the arena at her foe, wondering if this might be her last round. Nonetheless, she stares death (er... fainting) in the face stoically and begins to chant primally. In response to her call, a thick layer of clouds roll over the sky, completely obscuring the sun. Moments later, a heavy downpour drenches the two combatants as the vendors in the crowd, ever prepared, begin to sell umbrellas. Eriko smiles as her handowork pours from the sky, but her satisfaction is shortlived... ZAP! A bolt of lightning descends from the sky and electrocutes Eriko. Or, at least, that's what would happen if Serenity weren't asleep. (-7% EN Eriko)
Eriko binks, wondering if there was going to be a counterattack... but one never came. Shrugging, she holds out her arms and focuses; momentarily, a freezing wind picks up and whips around Serenity. The ice and hail in the wind bites and stings the sleeping Illumise, and this time she actually does stir. Taking in her surroundings, Serenity recalls her commands and summons a gigantic bolt of lightning from the heavens. Eriko gasps as the electricity strikes her. (-14% HP Serenity, -14% HP Eriko, -8% EN Eriko, -9% EN Serenity)
With both Pokemon awake, they both charge up their respective attacks. At roughly the same time, another cold wind picks up and a bolt of lightning drops from the sky. The gust whips around Serenity as the bolt crispy-fries Eriko, leaving them both severely pained. (-14% HP Serenity, -14% HP Eriko, -8% EN Eriko, -9% EN Serenity)
As the round ends, the poison continues to eat at Serenity. (-2% HP, -1% EN)

The rain continues to pour down as Chris' next Pokemon is released. A hulking Dusclops, its one eye shining red, stares down the panting Serenity. With no warning, the Ghost disappears into thin air. Serenity isn't fazed; instead, she begins to crackle with electricity and releases a bolt of lightning into the air. The bolt flits around for a moment, then homes in on Kimimaro's location mere moments before he strikes. The lightning zaps him, sending him stumbling back - the attack was amplified by Serenity's considerable elemental boost. (-11% HP Kimimaro, -5% EN Serenity, -3% EN Kimimaro)
Kimimaro scowls and regains his composure. Locking on to Serenity's location, he lights his fist on fire and flies at the firefly. The powerful blow connects - although it was hampered slightly by the rain and Serenity's aforementioned elemental boost - but Serenity immediately counterattacks by coughing up a ball of sludge directly in Kimimaro's face. The Dusclops howls as he wipes the poison out of his eye. (-5% HP Serenity, -5% EN Serenity, -5% EN Kimimaro)
Kimimaro shudders and places his hands together. A ball of ice forms in between them and he hurls it at Serenity, an icy trail following the ball like a comet's tail. The ice Beam lands squarely, but Serenity isn't out yet - she releases a brilliant burst of light, leaving Kimimaru blinded. (-6% HP Serenity, -3% EN Serenity, -6% EN Kimimaro)
Both Pokemon wince as the poison eats into them. (-1% HP Kimimaro, -6% HP Serenity, -3% EN Serenity) Serenity can't take it, and falls over, exhausted.

Ok Dan has unfortunately had to forfeit due to his...well, leaving.

So we got to our 8th Pokemon out of 12. That means.....*I think* we get half points from the match.

Dan's Blaziken was on 100% and Dusclops 88% so he is technically winning. Therefore I will award him with 12 points (half the full total) and I will recieve 6. TBA.....you've reffed a hellovalot of this (definitely the majority) so you will also get 12.


But before ANYONE puts their cash in the bank I'll wait for a second opinion. TBA? Becca?
