You run past the Shinx and Wormadam, past the slumbering Electabuzz, past the Magnemite and Bronzor... and into the sun and daylight. You suck back great gasps of fresh, clean air. Relief.

Panting, you and your Pokemon collapse on the ground, exhausted and parched. Grotle and Tangela are still here, you realize, and they peer at you. You guys share a look that speaks to camaraderie and shared horrors. Doubt you have to worry about them stealing anything of yours anytime soon.

Time to close the book on this chapter of your Safari Zone quest. As you return Raff and Bella to their respective balls, you hop aboard your trusty Flygon who flies off into the wild blue yonder! You get a brief scenic glimpse of the entire Zone as you hug your arms tight around Buzzer's neck. Soon, your steed spots her destination and begins her downward descent.

When you dismount, you call your two other Pogeys out and look out over the pond. Next to a rather short pier, a shack with an assortment of complimentary fishing rods sits beneath the sun. On the water, a couple of Surskit and Farfetch'd float around sleepily while, on the shore, a Sentret and a Rattata seem to be arguing about something.

And that's Skinny Dip's pond for you.

Leaving your Pokemon, clothes and dignity back on the shore, you and Bella bare all and decide to go for a little swim! The water is actually the perfect temperature and, as you near the center of this tranquil pond, you're able to put the horrors of the underground chamber behind you.

A couple of Yanmas buzz past you overhead. You spy a Qwilfish bobbing along merrily in the distance and, ooh, something seems to be tickling your feet!

Passing half sunken statues in this widely immense place, you reach a part where it seems there are a set of doors, colored green. You touch them, but they do not budge. Looking to the sky, you spot an Aerodactyl fly by heading round the Tower to its left side. Kitsune growls, and you turn around immediately...

you feel impact tremors. Ducking dow behind a pillar, you spot one Tauros. Then another. Suddenly, a whole herd of the angry bulls comes thundering past. You are in amazement, and then horror as you witness two Charizards swoop down from either side of the herd and shoot flamethrowers down, forcing the herd to run in a certain direction. Hunting behavior!

After the initial glare, you spot.....2 Aron's, a Larvitar, two Tyrogues crawling around, a spot where it seems a Dugtrio ducked the flash and 3 Gligar's hanging on the ceiling by their tails, now all irritated.

Okay, running out of air now. You give the bottom of the lake one last scan, spying a Shellder dozing near some seaweed, before returning to the surface. When you again suck back air, you peer over at the shore some thirty feet away. Raff and Buzzer seem to be playing dress-up with your clothes. Ahaha. Weirdos.

A couple feet away from them, a couple of Bibarels seem to be staring at them with interest.

You wait for the herd to pass, wingbeats still audible from our hiding spot. You waste no time and sprint down away from the door and run down the hill. Your Pokemon keep close, Med sweating a bit from being tired. But he hides it well. You all end up a good ways away from the temple. You hear water in the distance, and maybe there's a sandy area? The grass is thinning and giving way to sandy patches.

Out here, you see spouts of water waaaaaaay in the distance..possibly a Wailord pod? Over to the left, there is a Torterra just lumbering around. A Ludicolo was dancing in the waves

Once you return to land and redress, you call Raff and Bella back to their balls. Then it's off again, grabbing hold of Buzzer as she takes you off into the sky! Leaving the pond behind, you watch as the world below gradually transitions from trees and pasture to rockier, less even terrain.

The air takes on a sudden tinge of coldness as your destination comes into view: Ffeffni Mountain! After a brief trip, Buzzer lets you down on a mountain path as you recall your other two Pokes into the snow and cold. Good thing your hair was able to dry on the way here or you'd have one heck of a cold pretty soon.

As you look around, you immediately see a Piplup laughing and giggling as she rides a Swinub around the trail. Aww!

She dismounts and slowly approaches. You hold out a sprig of berries and the little penguin tiptoes forward, sniffing at the food every few seconds. Slowly, she holds out her arm and...

Snatches the berries from you! Piplup jumps in glee. Berries! Suddenly, she bites into one and... ew, that's not a berry. She doesn't seem to recognize the Pokeball for what it really is. Yeah, you can have that one back. She then scurries back to the Swinub and the two go scooting off into one of the caves.

Suddenly, Raff senses movement and fires off a Sleep Powder. Take that, Piplup! Squinting, you try to make out the slumbering shape in the poor light. What you thought was a Piplup is in fact... a Torchic. But then where did Piplup go?

Ugh. Why can't anything ever be easy?

Raff suddenly lights up again (deja-vu?) and you peer around the icy cavern expecting to have to search arduously for Piplup 'cause that's just how your luck has been going today. However, that's not the case. Lying down just a few feet away from you is Piplup, with her Swinub pal by her side. The little penguin appears to be growing and holding her stomach tenderly. Did she eat all those in one go? Yikes. Talk about tummy ache.

Raff fires off a second Sleep Powder. This time, the spores make contact with the correct target and Piplup is ushered off into sleepyland. Night night.

Swinub looks at his pal in a panic. Oh dear! Raff then swoops in and scores a double Giga Drain, sapping some nummy health from the penguin.

It's butt-kicking time! Super Raff lets off a steaming hunk of Acid followed by another draining move while poor Swinub looks on helplessly. Suddenly, Piplup springs awake... but still has that tummy ache to deal with. She fires off a half-assed Bubble that barely registers.

Raff then goes for gold with a volley of leaves. Yikes! This is serious business!
