As I watched Sake and the others be dragged away, we were dragged somewhere else.
" Hey! We didn't even do anything." I snapped. Though I didn't have my sword, which was taken away, I could perform a metal blast....
" You will waiiittt until King Talom summmoons youu." The Saurian hissed. The Saurians guarded the cell, waiting until after a while, they let us out. They led us to a chamber where the King was, and his adviser glared at us from behind him.
" What brings you here! The city of the Saurians is to remain hidden!" The King thundered. I glared at him, ready to jump on my feet and fire a metal blast. The Saurian guard jabbed my leg, forcing me to sit down again.
" Damn." I was peeved.

We were all led up to the King's throne while our friends were dragged down to the dungeons. Well aren't they prejudice against normal humans. I thought.

"Now then. You Demi-Humansss are here with those Humansss. Why isss that?" the King asked.

"Becaussse even Demi-Humanssss are being turned to evil!" the King's advisor hissed, angrily.

I glared at him. "We are here on a mission to defeat Garm. All of us carries a Pendant that has been passed through the generations to us, along with the weapons we carry. We mean you no harm, all we want to do is get to Garm's fortress!" I said. "Our Human friends have done nothing wrong. And they are our friends."

"Your ssstory ssseemsss truthfull. However I'm wondering why Demi-Humansss befriended Humansss. I realize that if you want to defeat Garm, you'll need help, but why Human friendsss? Why not keep yourssselvesss ssseperate?" the King asked in his deep but hissing voice. I could understand why he was the king.

"We accept our differences and at least make attempts to get along. After we've been through so much together, we've become close friends, and it would all be for nothing if they died," Elena said.

"I'll think thisss over tonight. You shall be taken to cccellsss in the dungeonsss across from your friendsss," he said, and waved us off. As we left with the guards, I heard the King's advisor speak in their hissing language in a way that conveyed great distrust.

"This is gonna be a loooong night," I said quietly to myself.

Ok people, I have some anouncements of my own, First, I am geting married... opps, did that one slip, na' just kidding with ya all! I'm not really getting married, but I am doing something with what we would call our life. I joined the Air Force so I could serve my country (doing that behind a computer monitor) and to travel to Japan. I plan to be stationed at the base we have in Isowa, Japan. After four years are up, if I like what I do, I will reinlist, but, I still plan to make my plan of creating Dream into a reality. It should start off as a manga, so look for it ina' few years, it will obviouslly be called Dream. If it passes the manga test, it will under-go the next, and most important part of the process. It will be turned into a animation. (notices that all are sleeping) Ok, now that is taken care of, lets let these Saurian warmongers have it!

The night was calm, despite the situation. It was late so most of the village was sleeping, there were what sounded like threee to four guards about. Obviously patroling the cell coridor. Chamel and most of the gang had fallen asleep. Only two remained awake.

"Hey, Sake. what should we say or do tommarrow?" asked Kage.

"Just do what you would normally do..." replied Kage.

"But I don't have my gauntlets!" replied Kage.

There was a groan from Sake's cell.

"Well, obviously don't do that! Just nagotiate with them for your freedom, and if you can, ours as well."

There was a bang on both doors that woke up Elena and Chamel.

"Sssilenccce human and demi, or we will sssilencce you!" hissed one of the guards.

Things settled down, and night soon turned to day. The group of humans stayed in the cells while the demi-humans were forced to audience with the king. They arrived in the throne room where upon the throne (if ANYONE starts thinking of the john, you shall be beaten with a plunger, and the man beating you is named Mario) sat the king.

"Ssso, you are the pendant bearersss that the human garm ssseeksss?" hissed the king in a inquiring tone. (If thats possible)

Elena was going to be the first one to answer.

"Yes, we are those people that he seeks. We swore a oath to our parents that we would guard the pendants that he would use to destroy the lands and bring darkness to those lands!" roared Elena.

The king did some thinking, he paced back and forth, pondering...

"Ssso, if I wasss to sssay, randsssom thossse pendantsss. The human Garm would come?" implied the king.

"Not only would he come, but he would bring his armies here to destroy your village and shrine, and take the lives of the villagers! Keeping us here only brings you more danger than we're worth, so just let us go so we can lure Garms forces away from your village!" I roared.

"How dare you ssspeak to our king like that!" hissed one of the lackies, (I refuse to call them "grunts") as it raced to silence Elena and myself.

"Ssstop, our you will go into a cccell with the humansss!" hissed the king as he came down some steps that led to the throne (COUGH). The king came face to face with Elena, he glared into her eyes, as if searching for the truth. Then he came to mine. I felt as if something had become lodged in my head (however that feals), the king was seaching my thought now, and past. He saw the land shark, the liutnent of Garm, and my history with humans. He stepped back and went back to the throne. (COUGH) He was pondering, thinking deeply, and finally he spoke.

"The demi'sss do not lie. They all ssspeak the truth. I have ssseen their quessst thusss far, thisss human named Garm hasss no mercccy." hissed the king in a quiet tone.

There were murmers from around the room. Hissing and speaking the native tounge.

"I ssshall let you and your human friendsss passss through today, but, you mussst never come back to thessse landsss or I ssshall run my clawsss through all of you!" hissed the king.

We all heaved a sigh of relief at the same time.

"But why are we letting thessse humansss pass, why not randsssome the pendantsss they bear to bargain with thisss human?!" hissed one of the council members.

"Becaussse thisss human isss jussst the type of human that we fear. The differenccce with thisss on isss that he hasss a army that out numbersss oursss and isss merccciless." hissed the king.
(man, I've said that alot already.)

"We can ssstand to thisss humansss forccce! We have done in the passst." hissed one of the older council members.

"I'm afraid not Sssthnor, thessse humansss that he comandsss have more advanccced weaponry than what we have. He can kill an entire village with ssseven men. I sssaw thisss in thisss onesss eyesss." as the king points to Kage.

"Hey, how could you have done that with out looking into my eyes?!" snarled Kage.

"You ssshare a bond with thossse around you, and I wasss able to tap that and read your thoughtsss asss well asss thossse around you." hissed the king. (thats like the seventh time I typed that!)

"Bond?! I share no bonds, my only goal is to kill the man named Garm!" roared Kage with a booming voice.

"You do not underssstand yet? If you are to defete the human Garm, you mussst ssstand togeather, or you ssshall fall togeather." hissed the king. (Ok, I have come up with a plan, the number 1 is going to represent the typing: "hissed the king")

"What do you mean by this?!" roared Kage. (not again)

"You will underssstand in time young one. Sssoon you will underssstand..." 1. (read above text to understand <-, if you already have, good. Now we continue)

"Enough of the riddles reptile (not the mortal kombat reptile), you bore me with such speach, just give us our weapons and we will leave in peace." demanded Kage.

"Hey man, you should lighten up, he just spared us AND our human friends ya' know" I commented.

"Maybe your right, I just need to get out of here, our path is hard and what ever trail we walk gets destroyed..." said Kage.

"What do you mean by that?" implied Elena.

"Think about it Elena! Everywhere we go, someone gets hurt, Termina, the shrine, where we once lived..." said Kage, trailing off at the end.

"King, we wish to get our gear and we will leave immediatly, we thank you for sparing our lives as well as the lives of our friends." I said.

"Think nothing of it, jussst leave our people and never return." 1.

We were taken to our friends who were still in there cells. One of the guards asked: "Do we get to kill the humansss now?"

The king appeared behind him, staring strait, he opened the doors to the cells and our friends in the cells came rushing toward us.

Sake went to Kage, "Tell me, how did you do it?" he asked.

"Here isss your gear, now begone and never return to thisss land, or elssse!" 1. As our gear was handed to ur by the guards, they seemed to have a confused look upon their faces. We gathered up our gear, checked and double checked to make sure that it was all there. All gear was there.

"Aw, no food, such hospitality these creatures have!" I hissed as we left sight of the village.

"That was strange..." I commented as Chamel retold the story for the fourth time.

"What?" he asked.

"Well, the King sure didn't seem to sound like that when we were taken prisoner for the first time." I stated. "He seemed more of a collected individual."

"I got that impression too, like he had a different personality." Elena said.

"What?" Horus said, standing still. "We've got company!"

Then we were surrounded, again, on all sides by Saurian Grunts.

"Hey, we're leaving!" Chamel said. "I thought that was what your King wanted?"

"Our King hass not made that decccisssion." The Grunt in charge replied. "Inssstead hisss advisssor made it for him. We have been ordered to bring you back."

"What?! Why?!" Kage asked.

"Because," said another Saurian that stepped through the bushes. It was King Talon himself. "There is trechery inside my city, and I will need the Pendant Bearers to help me uncover it."

Later we were back inside the main temple, inside the King's Chambers.

"Please, I ask that you excuse my adviser's actions. I was not feeling well this morning and he took it upon himself to come to a decision." The King walked towards a large tapestry hanging on the wall. "He distrusts any outsiders, esspecially humans, and made the decision for the best interests of all of the city."

I looked at the tapestry and tried to examine it. It was a weaving of a four-winged Dragon, the symbols for the 11 Elements floating around it.

"Ahh, you are looking at this tapestry?" He walked towards it and placed one of his clawed hands on the material.

"Years ago, back when this Jungle was small and undiscovered, We Saurains were once the rulers of the planet. But Humans started gaining in number and soon pushed out most of our brethren, killing them or enslaving them. They destroyed forests, homes and most of our way of life."

"Our ancestors started a nomadic search for a haven from the Humans. They Prayed to the Dragon Godess, and their prayers were answered. They happened onto this area of the Jungle. Thick and unbearable to most senient species, but perfect for our kind. They toiled and worked hard to transform the area into the City you see here. A true Utopia," Talon started walking towards one of the windows and looked out of it. "A haven for every Saurain Race that has ever exsisted."

"This is all very interesting," Kage commented. "But what are you going to do with us?"

Talon's lips curled into a smile. "First, I will offer you a Royal apology for my adviser's rashness in your sentencing, and then I have an announcement for every citizen of this city. The most important news, reguarding you my friends."

We walked back towards us, and I could see a look in his eyes of warm-heartedness. "You which hold the Pendants, you have in your possesion, in your protection, powers that you cannot even Imagine, let alone comprehend." He made eye contact with everyone. "Your willingness to die for their protection proved to me enough that you are indeed the true Pendant Bearers."

He started to walk out of the chamber, his back towards us. Then, turning his head, "Please, make youselves at home, I shall send a guard for you shortly." Then he walked out, leaving us in his chambers.

King Talon stood on a balcony from his temple. The crowd had gathered fast, very good that his messangers had covered the city so quickly. There were mumbles from the crowd, everyone wondering what the King's important announcement was. The humans were gone, weren't they?

Two Saurians let out loud roars that silenced the populace and made them pay attention to what King Talon was going to say.

((Note: I will translate directly from the Saurain Dialect. remember, the Pendant Bearers have no idea what he is saying. I repeat: THEY ARE CLUELESS!))

"*My Saurain Brethren! Today, we have been too fast in judging those of legend. You should all know the legend of the Dragon Gods and their heroic effort to stop the evil of the Demon, Necrosan! Their sacrafice allowed for peace to reign in this city, and the planet, for the past 4000 years!*"

There were cheers from the crowd. Talon raised his hand and the cheers lowered.

"*Their bodies were turned into pendants and given to mortals to guard over them until the Magic Seals that held them would be broken!*"

The crowd let out another set of cheers that died quickly.

"*Within the past few days, the Chossen Ones have entered our city and have been imprisoned!*"

There were murmers within the crowd. Could the humans and Demi-Humans have been the chossen?

"*These Pendant Bearers have risen up in a time where the outside of our city is in turmoil and chaos! They leave their homes to safeguard them against further attack, willing to risk their lives to save their loved ones!*"

More cheers. Talon continued.

"*They are willing, to sacrafice their lives to protect the Pendents of the Dragon Gods!*"

The loudest set of cheers this time, because everyone had heard the legend and wanted to know it's truth.

"*When the Dragon Godess passed away, leaving her offspring to rule over the different Elemtents, did we not weep, because she had shown us this paradise?! Now that the protecters of those same offspring have entered our home, shall we not aide them as much as we can?!*"

More loud cheering, and Talon motioned for them to silence.

"*I am positive, that the Pendant Bearers, The Guardians of the Dragon God's Suspended bodies have finally arrived, and I offer a full Royal apology for the way they have been treated in our home!*"

Talon turned towards the doorway and motioned for them to step forward. The 11 Pendant Bearers as well as Setsuna stepped forward and stood behind the king, but in eye-sight of the entire city.

"*These, are the Pendant Bearers of Legend! And Help me in welcoming them to our home!*"

Cheers and roars ensued, some gasped and then roared enthusiastically.

"*I introduce, Wamiyazen Denisu, Ikagaide Kage, Vared, Hibari Sora, Hatsuki Seylin, Kai-Prae Elena, Chamel, Horus, Thundersong Faile, Leonhart Zera, Arran Amalthea, and Setsuna!*"

This time the cheers and roars were loud. Creatures in the jungle fled from the roaring sounds.

Saké leaned in to Kage, "Any idea what they're saying?"

"Not a clue," Kage replied. "But I don't think we're on the menu anymore."

"*Now I ask my Saurain Brethren, to not breath a word of the Chossens True Destinies! They must not know what is at stake, for their own hearts shall take them where they are needed! Keiryuujin said that the magic seals will not hold forever, let us pray to the Gods that the bonds shall break soon, and that Evil shall be vanquished from the planet once and for all!*"

More cheers followed as Talon patted each Pendant Bearer's shoulder.

Behind the doorway, sulking in the shadows, was Silas, glareing at Talon and the 12 intruders.

"*With those Demi and Humans here, it may spoil my plans. I will have to use this to my advantage.... I will have to bide my time....*"

There's a reason I created the Saurains and had us captured. Kat knows it, Rose knows it... I don't think Kage does...

Look, we are now the VIPs of the Saurian City. We are able to walk the streets now and not get pelted with fruit or jumped. But I stress that no one has the Saurain's spill the beans about our destinies. Please.

Later I will have some of the concluding chapter of our Saurian encounter, one where we will have to fight to save the city from destruction, from the inside of Talon's very own circle.

Ok, ok, I guess I have some explaining to do. Mostly about my absence from the CoD.

First: My computer, as Denny knows, just sucks. PERIOD. The thing has a mind of its own, I know computers in and out, and some of the crap this thing does, it shouldn't even be doing.

Second: My ISP blows. PERIOD. They have some beef with me when ever I get on PM. I get the boot every ten minutes or so, and then I go through the trouble of getting back online, only to get the boot again when I do get back online.

Third: When ever I make it to the post page. I get booted, for the past eight times I have tried to submit a post, I got the boot, and couldn't get back on. When this happens, I just stay offline and type my post uninterrupted. when it is finished, I get back online and submit. WELL, THAT TACTIC USED TO WORK... now the computer locks up when ever I do this. (I know it laughs at me when I do this) AND ON TOP OF THE LOCK UP, MY POST IS NOW GONE. POOF, VANISHED, NO MORE SEEING! My blood boils to the point were I HAVE to get away from the computer. The ONLY way I can overcome this is to think ahead (which I do rarely) and save my post on the computer.

Fourth: Messenger gets in the way of my internet. I am begging to think that it is the reason for my absence, but I must have the messenger to chat with you all. SO, moral delema there.

And there you have it. Those are the reasons for my month abscence. As for the Saurian piece, some one fill me in, Denny, just tell anyone that is on messenger, preferable rose. I have her on my list, but just tell them so I can get informed when I CAN manage to get on the internet. Then we have no more of what happened above.

PS: nice save with that, I thought of that my self. When I looked at the Saurian piece. I didn't think that I could last long. WHY? Because we ARE being chased by Garm, if we stay we my get killed, Garm's forces arrive, all hell breaks lose (no folks, not me), end of us... thats why I finished the Saurian groups, but hey, I looked for a way to stay longer, but I couldn't find any way, figured that you had a "plan" for this encounter. Oh well, whats typed is typed... On with the plot!

Mark... look back. The last we saw of any Garm Grunts was Termania. And Sherina botched up her mission. Plus, the rumors that No one enters teh Hydra Forest and lives is true... Because anyone who stumbles on the Saurain's doesn't live very long afterward.

We aren't being Chased BY Garm, we are being chased by his soldiers and elite Warriors. He's still at his castle... waiting....

After the speech we were led to a peaceful little glade. Small waterfall going down into a fountain, soft moss covered the rocks, the grass was feathery and green, the breeze was comfortable. We picked spots to sit down after the gaurds said that this was our outdoor lounge, and they would show us our rooms later. I was the only one not quite comfortable. I'd been doing nothing for too long. I heard a rustling behind me, and instinctively whirled around in time to catch a (what I assumed to be young) Saurian wearing some kind of leather gloves and boots that had jumped at me, and was making some sort of odd sound that resembled laughter...a little. "What do you think you're doing!?" a yelled.

"Sssssory, ssssir. I wasss bored, and heard that there were ssstrangersss. After the ssspeech I decided to come meet you," it said in a somewhat deep hissing voice, so I assumed it was male. "I'm Ssslavax," he said.

"Nice to meet you Slavax, and I'm just going to call you Vax if that's okay, but why did you jump at me?" I asked, standing up and brushing myself off.

"You looked bored, and I decccided that you needed sssomeone to play with," he said. I chuckled a little.

"Well, you got the bored part right. I'll spar with you, if that's what you want, just so long as you keep those leathers on. I don't really want to sew up gashes," I said, jokingly, as we walked out farther into the woods. The others were probably staring like I was crazy.

I sighed as Kage went off to spar for the Saurian as we sat by the waterfall. I liked peace and quiet myself but I had to spar once in a while and now was the time. I wistfully thought back to when dad and I sparred before I had to unexpectedly leave. I knew I would probably never see him again although I would always remember him. I sighed again and got up to move away from the others. I took out the piece of cloth tucked inbetween my belt and tied it around my eyes. Standing straight in front of a tree, I whipped out my glaive and twirled it a bit before I started to slash. I fainted a bit and did a couple of back flips before running in and stabbing at the tree. Letting the blade stick into the tree, I started to kick and feint repeatedly. It felt good to practice again, not having to worry about Garm or his minions. Giving the tree a last final kick, I collapsed to the ground and took off the piece of cloth before the tree fell over. I smiled as I crawled over and took out the glaive. Pointing over towards the water, I beckoned it with a finger and watched as a stream of water snaked over from the fountain to above my head. Cutting off the line of water, I let it form into a sphere and let it fall above my head. I layed against the ground as the cool water dribbled off my face, happy to be of some use. This was a good day for me.

I looked about, eyeing the suculant food, smelling the enticing aroma. My eyes drooled and my mouth cried, I croaked out the word "Food" and began to stuff my face, only caring to fill the empty feed bag of a stomach. I soon finished off the entire table and was ready for more. The saurian cooks, amazed at the deadly quickness of the fork stabbing meats, and the lightning fast spoon that scooped soup from bowls like a drying well. The cooks stood dumb founded, I looked up at them, they looked at eachother and raced for the kitchen. They wanted to know how much I could really fit in that stomach of mine...

As my sparring rounds with the young Saurian progressed, I realized why no one ever got through the forest alive. This young one told me that he was a few years old, but he was as strong as me (OOC: In case people have forgotten due to Denny's drawing (No offense, to him either), Kage is the biggest and most muscular of the group--and he likes to break things). Their hind legs were very powerful as well, and proved difficult to avoid. If Vax hadn't been wearing leathers to cover his claws, I'd have been shredded. We sparred all day, and when I got back to the clearing, the Saurian gaurds had just arrived to take us to our rooms. When I laid down that night, I felt tired, and very happy to have been able to train.

I was in a dream again. Only this time... no shadows.... no running. I was laying in a feild. Openning my eyes, I saw the sun glowing in the sky.

Propped up on my shoulders, I looked around and remembered where I was. The feild was near the Keikame shrine.... and I was laying under the only tree that had ever grown on the feild.

Pushing myself up, I sat and stared infront of me. The feild seemed to go on forever, and there was even a nice breeze flowing in the air.

I looked up at the sun, and I thought I heard someone shouting my name......

I awoke from the dream... and instantly sunbeams hit my eyes. Shutting them closed I rolled over and openned them again.

The room I was given to sleep in was comfortably furnished. Tapestries of ages past hung on the wall, next to a big mirror. My linens were made of fur and the bed itself was of similar fur.

Finally I sat up... my shirt was off, laying on a seat by the bed, my Sword under my shirt, and the pendant sitting on top of everything. My boots were sitting on the floor, somewhat cleaner than they have been the past few days, as was my shirt, and my vest was hanging on the chair's back. My gloves and arm band were still on, but the band was moved a little... I re-set it on my arm and then threw my legs past the bed and stood up.

My muscles felt better than they had in days.. considering what we were all going through, it was a surprise. Stretching my arms I saw myself in the mirror....

My hair was a mess, considering what I usually leave it at every day. Running a finger through it I saw how I looked in the morning before breakfast and training...

"Well, I look like crap," I joked.

There came a knock and a Saurain voice called through the door.

"Denisssu? The othersss are waiting for you in the dinning hall."

"Okay, I'll be there in a few." I replied as I slipped my shirt on.

After getting my shirt and vest on, I slipped the Pendant around my neck. Grabbing my sword I headed for the door.

There was a Saurian servant, waiting for me. "Sssir, if you will follow me." He turned and started walking as I slipped my Sword band around my shoulders. We walked through the long halls until we finally came onto the dinning hall.

If I thought my room was impressive, this blew that outta the water!

It was a large room, and several long tables were side-by side in the room. Different Saurian armors were standing up against the walls as decorations. HUGE tapesties hung on the walls, and some torches were lit.

I saw some of the other's up. Seylin, Faile, Sora, Horus, and Vared were up already, and sitting at one of the tables. Spotting me, Vared waved and I made my way to them and sat down.

"Where is everyone?" I asked.

"Still asleep," Horus replied. "Talon isn't even here yet."

Taking a quick look around, I saw servants getting the tables ready.

"Any idea when they'll get here?"

"None, we'll just have to wait."

Okay, now we should start waking up... if anyone wants to do when our meal actually starts, Talon says that we should go out and enjoy the sights of the Saurian City.... but we have to leave our weapons at the building. I know, but we really don't need our weapons to hold our own, right?

I woke up to the sound of birds and the heat of sunshine on my face. Before I did anything, I wondered how many people woke up only to be blinded, because I had a habit of keeping my eyes closed when I wake up. I rolled over and opened my eyes slowly, getting them used to the light. I realized after moving that, despite the exercise I got the night before, my muscles felt better, instead of sore, and I felt rested and refreshed. I pushed myself off of the soft bed of rushes and furs and stretched, which probably wasn't smart since when I did so my hands smacked the ceiling--hard. I yawned and waved my hands around a little from the unexpected shock of smacking a stone ceiling and walked over to a mirror I didn't know was there. After examining a few scars I didn't remember getting I looked at my hair--which was now in a rather matted braid. I reached back and undid the ties that held my long black hair in a tight weave and went about cleaning it--which took about an hour, and suddenly someone knocked on my door.

"Kage? Are you awake?" said a hissing Saurian voice.

"Yes I am, is there something wrong?"

"No. I just wanted to inform you that your friendsss are waiting for you in the dining room," it said.

"Thank you, I'll be just a minute," I said. I walked over to a small rack in the corner of my room and put on my pants, shirt, and boots, then grabbed my cloak and left for the dining room.

Twas' the night before a shiny day, and there I sat on my nice big hiney. Out of the night came a stingray, it said to me: "I'm running from that O' Shae guy..." I was looking for my slippers, and at my feet was that dog named Bess. I took out some snippers and the dog fled, noticing that my bed was too far away, I tried to get up, but my hiney was too big. Diging to my bed was pointless, for the sun had just came up, a crow began to say its morning speech: Caw Ca DOO Doodle DO! I looked around, and there was only hay... I must now stop my random mumbling, if I may. I can only say now, that the walls have ears.

There was a knock at my door, and I slowly began to stir. A voice echoed from outside the door: "Wake up massster Chamel, breakfassst isss now being sssevered." With those words, I bolted and put on my... WHERE DID MY LINION CLOTH GO?! "Massster Chamel, if you are looking for your clothesss, we had to take them. You will find a set of clothesss on the ssstool in your room." I looked about my room, and sure enough, there was a pedistal that wasn't there the night before, and sitting upon it was a nice pair of not-ragged clothes.

I dressed up quickly and bolted down stairs. I walked along the ceiling, looking for breakfast, and to see if anyone would notice the clothes dangling from the ceiling. Eyeing a nice pastry on Sake's plate, I focused, and SNAP! The pastry came flying back into my awaiting stomach when the ceiling above me began to give away... I fell into the table below, with my focus interupted, I faded back into existance. Upon looking around and awaiting the usual scorning that came after a bad dead such as this, but it never came. Everyone was too tired to care, besides, the Saurians would take care of that...

After a hearty breakfast and sharp lecture, I was ready to do me some exploring. I was looking about, not really looking for anything in particular, but something caught my eye. It looked like a sword, shaped much like the one at my very side. I began to examine it more closely, and noticed that a figure was behind it, I began to step back, the figure that was behind the sword... was me. I backed up into another figure on the other side. It had two gaunlets up, and looked much like Kage... This was really starting to get weird. The hall stretched for about sixty feet, with figures of each person holding their weapons. "This hall must be where the Saurians have kept the legends... I have some history to do some studding up on!"

I was sprawled across the bed and snoring loudly when a soft tapping came from the door, and a hissing voice said "Misss Sssora?"

"Mehh...five more minutes, pleeeeaase..." I moaned, turning away from the door.

"I have been sssent to tell you that breakfassst will ssssoon be ssserved." Said the same hissing voice. "Your clothesss are nexsst to your bed..."

After a few minutes of arguing with myself, I decided I was hungry enough to wake up.

Yawning sleepily, I entered the dining hall to witness one of Saké's pastries fly up to a floating patch of clothes, which I could only guess was Chamel.

We ate breakfast quietly, for we were all much too tired to attempt conversation. The Saurians seemed quite pleased, and anxious to do what we needed. When we were all finished, Saké gave Chamel a lecture about hanging from the ceiling in a place like this, then we all set off about our ways.

I, myself, was immensely curious about their language. Upon their tapestries and weavings there was definite writing, though it was of no speech I had heard of. I decided to study the artworks, and see if I could decipher any of it, for some of it could become quite useful.

I yawned and walked slowly around the Saurian town. Aside from the wonderful structures and the fact that the people were lizards, it seemed like a normal city. As I walked, I was suddenly dragged inside one of the stalls in a large market. I bolted out of it when the Saurian there said it was a place where they cut hair (I assumed it was animals); "Ssssir! You ssshould get your hair cut. It'sss far too long." (OOC: Why am I thinking Kat's gonna use that in a script someday?)

"Hehe, no thanks!" I said just before I ran. Someone needs to remind me to put my hair back in a braid, it makes it look too long when it's undone. I though to myself as I slowed to a walk. As I weaved through the market, I saw many things; metalsmiths with unique works, weavers who could make intricate designs on cloth, potters with the most interesting jars. But I only stopped at a leather shop. It was run by (what appeared to be) an old Saurian and a very small one who must have been very young. I walked up to them. "Do either of you know how to braid?" I asked. The young one nodded. "Could you braid this?" I asked, pulling my hair out from behind me.

"Yesss sssir, I believe I could," the young Saurian said, guesturing for me to sit down on a stool. I did so and the young one went behind me and started to braid my hair. I could be doing this myself, but this is sooooo much easier. I thought. And it turned out to be the tightest triple braid my hair was ever put in.

"Thank you," I said, before giving the young one a few large pieces of silver that I assumed could be used for money and walked off into the market again.

By midday, I was wearing furs, strange but comfortable steel pauldrons, beaded leather decoration, and various animal teeth and claws. I wasn't sure why, but I felt very comfortable here.

Oh, oh, I wana' play truth or dare! I dare Kage to turn his arms into wings of a chicken, walking down the street like a zombie on one foot, while singing "row row row your boat". Who else wants to play?

I continued to look at the statue that looked identical to me, it was strange looking at me when there was no mirror.

'I wonder if I can stike that powerful pose...' I thought to my self as I began to unsheath my sword. As the hilt rose futher into the air, and metal began to show, the sword was glowing a faint brown color.

'What the heck, it never used to do this!' I wondered to my self, knowing that something was up with this statue.

'I wonder...' I continued to think.

I continued down the hallway admiring all the statues that resembled us. Soon, I had entered a room, large and vast. The room had eleven sides total and on each face, there was a mounting for where a statue should go, but there was nothing there exept for a fine line that ran down the center of the mount, and a small symbol that was centered on the mount. I took more intrest in this room, it was well lit, but nothing appeared to go in here. This was quite odd, for being a room of this size... As I reached the last mount, my pendant began to shine brightly as it had done when I first recieved it.

'Man, this place just keeps getting wierder and wierder by the second...' I thought as I inspected my pendant to make sure it wasn't malfunctioning. (Right, like that can ever happen)

My stomach began to growl, informing me that lunch was about to be served at the dinning hall. I bounded down the hallway, passing by my statue, thinking:

'What a beautiful Chameleon!'

Okay. Jeez Mark.. chill. The pictures won't resemble you at all. In fact the only way they resembles us is the fact that our weapons are exactly the same. Meh... you may be bored... but we have some time to chill and relax.... plus waiting for the others who haven't posted in gond-knows how long. And can someone else get ahold of them... methinks they're ignoring me. Sides... I thought you and Sora wanted to do some research... so that's what I'll have you do! ^_^

Sora sat down at a wooden table, a large volume open before her. Most of the writing was unlegible and the two Saurian aides in the King's library weren't helping, neither was Chamel, who was more interested in the pictures than the dialogue.

Strange enough... it seemed as if some books were missing....

Sora turned a page and saw something really strange. The book she was reading must have been a complete history of the Saurians when they settled in the jungle. She had seen pictures of them working the land and jumgle to acomidate thier culture, starting construction on the temple the had been invited to stay in. What grabbed her attention was a two-headed creature, fins on the sides of its head. Fire came out of one mouth, and lightning out of the other, and behind the creature was what looked like a giant wave following it. Small depictions of Saurian's running and throwing spears could be seen.

"Chamel!" she exclaimed.

Chamel, who was looking at a different picture of exactly the same creature, shut the book and looked back. "What?"

"Come here!"

He walked over and looked at what her finger pointed at.

"Whoa!" Chamel exclaimed. "There's a dou only an army of mothers could love."

"I think this is bigger... Excuse me!" she shouted at one of the two aides. The Saurain trotted up. "What's this?" she pointed at the creature.

"Oh, we call the creature the Hydra. Back when the sssity was being conssstructed, our ansscessstors were attacked by a thisss creature." The aide flipped the pages and told the story. "Our firssst king found a weaknesssss, and exsssploited it, sssealing the Hydra in an enchanted urn. The Urn is currently in thisss temple, but it hasss been ssso long, everyone believesss it isss only a legend."

Meanwhile, outside the doors, Talon was speaking with the record Keeper and holder of the books.

(Okay, another translation direct, no typing the full launguage out... takes too long for me....)

Talon looked through the small openning between the doors. "*Are you sure all of the books with any mention of the Dragon Gods have been removed?*"

"*Yes your highness,*" the keeper replied. "*Me and the aides were up all night moving the books into the treasury.*"

"*Good, you have done well. If they figure out their destiny before their true time, it could ruin all chances of saving the planet.*" Talon looked back into the library. "*Help them with anything else they inquire about, but do not mention the Gods.*"

"*Yes Sire*" the Saruain bowed to Talon and entered the Library.

Talon glanced up and down the halls before heading on his daily duities. [i]If what The Light God said long ago is true, and if there is someone after the God's Pendants, then it could only mean one thing... he has been unleashed.[i] The Raptor King walked down the halls... the thought still rolling around in his mind.

" Lesee...what do I do first." Zera smirked. His wings remained hidden under his cape, which was then that he decided to get a new one.
" Capes...Weaponry...armory.." He listed off things while gazing at a sign, which ironically said the same thing.
" Well well well.." Zera muttered...

Pft. The place was pretty good. Now...to find the proper cape. I gazed at a few displayed on the wall, looking for a one of red silk. Before I could say anything however, a claw tapped my shoulder. Whirling around, I came face to face with the shop owner.
" Hello sir....I couldnt help noticing..." He pointed to my tattered cape.
" That your fine cape is in a rather...horrible condition. allow me to sew it up for you sir..." He hissed.
" How much." I raised an eyebrow, surprised by the offer.
" Oh, free sir! I would never think of doing it for pay.." He shook his head.
" Fine.." I muttered, taking it off. I concealed my wings, hoping he would not spot them.
" Please come back tomorrow.." He nodded.
" Right then..." I muttered, leaving the shop.

Annyway, I made up another skill for Zera..seeing as we need 5..

The Summoning of the Dragon(or Draconian Call): Zera raises his hand, charging up a ball of energy. He launches it into the sky, showering the area with metal pieces. However, they form into a steel dragon, who fires a beam of white energy at the area, wiping out all enemies, and healing all allies.

He uses this only much later though ~~

After lunch, a hearty one at that, Sora and myself had decided to check out the library for more info about the history of this place. I decided to keep to myself what I had seen below. I kept all this in mind while I scrolled down the pictures to see if I could find anything about those missing statue heads. What did they go to, what were they for, and what did they look like...

After the library excursion, I decided that maybe I should go look for some armor to fit my delecate and frail lizard body. I wandered from shop to shop, and spoted a rather barbaric looking Kage. After a short deliberation, I decided NOT to ask him for help with armor. I finally came to a spot with amor designed for lizards. (like there arn't any here.) I looked over the mails, and leathers, but none seemed to fit my fancy. After some lengthy looking, I found the armor of armors for me, but it was hanging in the center of his shop, meaning that it was the owners. I stared up at the beaut' in amazment, the armor had intricate designs of blue swirled with silver triming. The armor itself was a odd style of breast plate. The armor even had a mount for a sword of any size to go on the right side of the wearer. All that the armor was missing was a cape and lower half... The shop owner eventually noticed that I was checking out his armor and decided to ask me if I needed help. (when people do this to the real me, it drives me to no limits)

"Excussse me sssir, but may I help you or intressst you in another armor other than my families relic?" asked the owner in a ancient voice.

"This armor... is glorious. How many generations has it been with your family?" I asked.

"Oh my, I have no clue. Maybe seventy generationsss." said the keeper in that mysterious voice. "But sadly, I am the last of this generation. My family line ends with me, and my age is about to take me." the keeper put on a mournful face. "This armor will no longer see any more battles for it shall be put to rest with my body." said the keeper with a look that would make a puppy cry.

Wipping away tears from my eyes, I looked to him and said: "I would be willing to give this armor life. My companions and I have a great journey that still remains ahead of us. Besides this I have no armor to protect me." I said sheepishly at the end.

After some thought, the saurian keeper decided.

"I have done sssome thinking. If that armor was to stay with me, then my family mark which isss on the front of that armor will never be seen again, just like my heritage line, but if you take it, then it no longer isss in my possssesssion or my heritage line." the keeper sat down to do more thinking. I sat down wondering if I should be making such an old saurian think these thoughts that may speed up his pain and death...

"Maybe I should be leaving, besides, there is better armor out there." I said as I started to leave.

"Wait pendant bearer, I have made up my mind." said the keeper as I started for the door, and wondering how the old saurian saw my pendant. I whorled around on my heel with my fingers crossed, as I came face to face with the lizard. "You are allowed to take the armor, it would be unjussst for me to jussst let my family line die asss I have done, and then to bury our ssseal with my fate... that isss jussst too much. You will take good care of that armor, for our family looksss on to you to carry on our sssymbol." said the keeper as he attempted to get the armor down.

"Here, allow me to get that." I said as a walked up the wall and grabed the armor from the ceiling. I began to put it on, and boy, was it a perfect fit. It was as if I was ment to wear this armor. "My, this is quite comfortable... er, whats your name again?" I asked as I looked down at the saurian.

"Sssetssstar the ssseventh." said Setstar.

"Well Setstar, my sword is now under your family seal!" I said as I walked down the wall to show Setstart that the armor was a comfortable fit. Setstar looked about the armor, glancing at every strap, but his look was odd, like he was looking at something that wasn't there. "Ah yes, the cape!" said Setstar triumpantly as he walked back into the back quarters and came out with a small bundle of cloth and a metal string to attach the cape with. He unraveled the cape, instructing me that the cape was to be folded as he had gotten it when the armor was to be taken off. The cape was of matching colors, blue with the engravement of Setstar's family seal in silver. "Now that armor will never russst, ever. And the cape isss made of ssstrong fibersss that are tear-proof. I have tried everything in my power when I wasss little to sssee if what my dad had told me about the armor wasss true, and it isss. May you wear our armor with dignity and power, young Chamel!" said Setstar.

As I turned to thank Setstar, something was wrong with him. His eyes seemed darker, they missed that glow that was in them just a second ago when he was instructing me about the care of the cape. "No, Setstar... It can't be, we... just met...." I said as I began to cry.

A cervice was held for Setstar, and a burial was preformed that afternoon, all of which I attended.

I walked back to my room after breakfast and looked out the window. Finally we had some time to relax.

It was strange, despite their despisal of Humans, the Saurians had similar structures in both scocial, economic and structures. They weren't any different from the outside world. I walked to the window and looked out for a second. Then there cama knock at my door.

"Saké? Are ou in there?" The voice was Setsuna's.

"Yeah, come in." I replied and started walking towards the door.

She came in but didn't shut the door. "They wanted me to see if you wanted to go see the city."

"Hmm? Who's going?"

"Vared, Kage, Horus. Sora's staying with Chamel, and Seylin isn't leaving his room. Elena's staying too, don't know why."

"Well, it would be a nice change, exploring around instead of being chased all the time." I replied.

Setsuna walked by me and looked out the window, leaning slightly. "It's beautiful, isn't it?"

I stood there staring at her as the sun beams danced through the open window, lighting her face. She looked out with dreamy eyes. I couldn't stop myself, "Yeah, it is." I wasn't talking about the city.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* "Hey Saké get movin'!" It was Horus.

I fell over in stupidity.

Then Horus walked in. "Everyone is waiting."

"Right! Let's go!" I said to Setsuna and we left.

Hours later we were having dinner, Kage was dressed like a barbarian and Chamel was sporting a new piece of Armor that he wasn't talking much about.

Talon was sitting at the table now, and we were having fun eating our hearts away.

Sora came walking in, looking disgruntled. She took a seat.

"You okay Sora?" Chamel asked.

"No," she replied. "I've been at it for hours... and I can't decipher their writing." She laid her head on the table. "It's similar and yet it doesn't follow any rules of any laugnuage that my Father taught me."

Talon let out a chuckle. "Our language may be different, but it is possible to understand it."

The Pendant Bearers where shown to their rooms right after their dinner was finished. Guards were posted to walk the halls and escort the pendant bearers should they need anything.

One Saurian walked the halls, checking the lengths for signs of any guards. The coast being clear, the Saruian moved down the halls. Swiftly and soundlessly the Reptile moved through the halls, it's claws not even making a sound. Reaching a junction the Saurian stopped before the edges of the turns.

Tilting his head the Saurian waited in the shadows as the Guards approached.

"The King is treating the Humans and Demi-Humans almost better than us." said one.

"If they're going to save the planet, we have to be nice to them. The Dragon Godess would not be pleased if she was still alive."

They continued moving, not noticing the Saurian hiding behind the corner, as they left, the Saurian looked out again and ran along the way where the Guards had been comming from.

It continued to move in this way, sticking to the shadows as it ran into hte depths of the temple. Hiding from guards.

Finally he came to a door, with a seal. Moving it's clawed hand, the seal was broken. Glancing down the halls several times, he entered, closing the door behind him.......

I wandered around town, looking at the buildings, admiring things I saw in shop windows, and basically just looking around. I walked through an area that looked like a market, then came to a field. There were about half a dozen young Saurians there, with an adult standing off to one side. They seemed to be playing some sort of game that seemed to involve hitting a leather ball with almost every part if their bodies, passing it to one another and trying to keep it off the ground.

As i watched, the adult called out something in their language, and the young ones started hitting the ball using mostly their tails. I walked closer and leaned against a tree to watch. After a bit, the adult called something again, and the young ones returned to using every part of their body to hit the ball. Shortly after, one Saurian missed hitting the ball, which was flying toward me.

It was too low for me to catch it and throw it back, so instead I stepped away from the tree a little bit, then kicked the ball back. I was pleased to see that i had kicked it while it was still in the air. One of the young Saurians caught the ball, and all stopped playing their game to stare at me. I suddenly felt nervous; maybe they didn't want anyone to watch them play? I figured i might as well be nice and introduce myself. It couldn't hurt.

"Hi, my name's Vared." I said. "I was just watching you guys, I hope you don't mind."

After a moment, the adult said. "Not at all. You could join in the game if you wisssh."

"No thanks, I'd rather just watch." I said.

"Pleassse? It's fun, and we'd be happy to have you." said one of the young ones, and the others murmured agreements or nodded.

"No thanks," I repeated, then walked over and leaned against the tree again.

So they resumed their game. But now, the ball seemed to come loose a lot more. It was hit too hard, just missed being hit, was hit in the wrong direction, and any other possible way the ball could get away from them. And it seemed they always came toward me. I didn't mind, so I just hit, kicked, or otherwise passed it back. At first I missed it as often as I hit it, and then I'd just run after the ball and toss it back. I gradually got better at hitting the ball, and then the ball came my way more often. This escalated untill it seemed i was hitting the ball just as often as the rest of the Saurians put together. I finally caught the ball, laughing quietly to myself. I decided I'd have it tossed at me less if i played the game with them, so i spoke up.

"Is that invitation to join you still open?"

"Yesssss!" hissed all of them, so i tossed the ball in the air, headbutted it back to them, and ran after it to join the game.

Everyone introduced themselves, and there was a brief rundown of teh rules before i started playing. The only one i hadn't gotten just by wathing was that whenever the adult called out a body part, you had to try to use that part as much as possible to hit the ball. After a while he'd call "End," and then normal play resumed. He agreed not to call "Tail", since i didn't have one. Then the game restared.

It was a lot more challenging than it looked from the sidelines. It required a lot of dexterity and hand-eye coordination...er, head/limbs/ body-eye coordination.

After playig for a long time, one of eth Saurians missed hitting the ball with his tail, and it slammed into my back instead. Man, did that hit hard! I ended up falling forward--pratcically flying forward---and ending up face-first in the dirt, which had been churned into mud by all the clawed feet running across it. The force of the forard motion had also knocked my pendant out from under my shirt, so it ended up in the mud, too.

The first thing i did after i sat up and spat the dirt out of my mouth was try to wipe the mud off my pendant. it came off the smooth sides of the red crystal easily enough, but there were a lot of nooks and crannies in and on the metal dragon curled around it, and mud seemed to have gotten in every one of them. I frowned and doubled my efforts.

"Exssscuse me," said the adult Saurian, who i had heard was named Diarus.

I looked up at him, as he was standing next to me. "Oh, I'm sorry, I'm in your way, aten't I? I'll get off the field so you can keep playing." I said, and stood up."

"Oh no, that's not what I wasss about to sssay." said Diarus. "I know someone who ownsss a ssstore and who makesss jewlery. He would have the toolsss to clean that off properly. I wasss about to asssk if you'd like me to ssshow you to hisss shop so he could clean that off for you."

I certainly couldn't clean it off right by myself, and I'd hate to leave it covered in mud. I sgreed, and we left teh field to head for the shop. The youths resumed their game as we left.

We walked into the market place, then turned off onto a side street, and soon entered a small store. Inside, there were a bunch of display cases, shelves, boxes, and other things, all dispalying some of the most dazling jewlery I'd ever seen. I just stared at them for a moment, and didn't notice the shop owner untill he spoke.

"Greetingssss, how may I be of ssservice?"

"Misss Vared had joined teh youngsstersss in a game, and one of them was clumsssy and knocked her in the mud. Sssince her pndant needsss cleaning anyway, i figured it might asss well be done right. Would you mind doing the job?" asked Diarus.

"It would be my pleasssure." he responds, then turns to me. "Let me introduce myssself. My name isss Mediar. Pleassed to meet you."

Not knowing what else to say, I resonded, "The pleasure's mine." That seemed to please him.

"I ssuposse I have to get back to watching the youngssstersss. Good-bye," said Diarus, then left.

Mediar saw him to the door, then turned back to me. "Well, than. May I pleassse sssee the pendant that needsss cleaning?"

Despite teh fact that it was covered in mud, I had tucked it back under my shirt out of habit. After a brief moment of hesitation---after all, it had been taken from me once before my a Saurian---I pulled the pendant out fromunder my shirt, undid the clasp that held shut the chain it was attached to, and handed it to Mediar.

Not to throw the RPG off at all, but I was wondering. What do the Rpers think about a possible Theme Song that fits the RPG and Fic? I have my eyes set on "It Doesn't Matter" and I'll PM the lyrics if anyone is interested in how they go.

Where is everyone? I remember having at least 10 new posts in a single DAY!! Meh... maybe everyone's creative juices are slowing down by now... I think I'm getting back on my PKMN Kick, one that happens rarely, as well as trying to think of stuff to take to college... It's kinda hecktic, but not as bad as it could be.

I officially have 6 days left before I leave on the 21st. But even then I don't start classes till the 25th, so I luck out anyway. ^_^

Plus school is starting up for everyone again, figures... I know a few of us will be going to college, (MTR and myself to name a few) and others are searching other careers such as the Millitary, (Mark).

Well, I can expect it to be fun. ^_^ I'm waiting to go back to school. Despite sitting on my rump all day and posting on TPM I miss sitting on my rump and not having my mind turned to mush.

It's been so bad I haven't worked on Chapter 6 at all! Although I did get Seylin finished and uploaded and started a topic in Fan Art to start getting some feedback.

I may post later... I dunno.... depends if there are any more posts.

well, after reading the post above ^... I have not much to say other than the people that haven't posted in awhile, they should either give us the heads up that they have left the RPG or that they are willing to continue with it. Either way, those people should contact the MM or someone else that is in here and inform the ones that have been posting that they are no longer interested in the RPG. Now, on with my post!

That night was rather uneventful, except for the fact that I had received a new armor that fit my like a snug bug. I watched my room like a hawk, making sure that none entered it, from the ceiling of coarse (sp). The next morning though, I awakened perched on a beam up on the ceiling. The breakfast crew came and woke us all up, a knock could be heard from any room on all doors.

"Tisss time to wake up young masssters." said a gentle voice on the other side of the door.

After getting my armor back on and down stairs, I realized that it might be a good idea if I went out and showered. It had been weeks since the last shower was taken, and tall smell signs could be read on all faces. I quickly devoured a warm breakfast consisting of bread, OJ, some kind of fruit that resembled a strawberry, and finally something like oatmeal. I rushed out of the temple and found a nice cascading waterfall that would suit my needs perfectly. After a refreshing shower, I decided that I might go out and find out what life was like in this decent village. I set back for the temple, when I bumped into... Sora?!

"What are you doing out here Sora?" I asked.

She replied: "Well, actually I was going to shower, at my own comfort."

"..." I kinda' trailed off at the last part of my sentence.

'Wait a minute, did she just see me...' I began to think to myself.

"No, if your just wondering if I saw you, I just got here." she said with a slight blush in her checks.

"Ok, that was what I was wondering... Well, enjoy your shower, er... bath..." I said as I quickly left, a slight color of red starting to show on my tail...

After breakfast I walked around out in the forest for a bit. I knew that everyone would probably want to wash up, so I wasn't about to go to the waterfall that could be easily found, since everyone was likely to go there. It took a little longer than I would have liked, but I found a nice pool of water with a tall waterfall that was pretty far out of the way. The water was crystal clear, and snow-cold, and there was a wonderful, refreshing mist around the area. I stretched, yawned, unbraided my hair and took off my clothes and trinkets and dove in. As I was swimming around, I barely noticed a small cave at the very bottom of the pool. I swam back up to the surface, took a deep breath, and went back down to explore it a bit. It was a very short tunnel that led--much to my surprise--to a very large room inside the cliff that the waterfall cascaded down. On the walls of the chamber were beatiful paintings of Dragons and the Saurians, however my attention was drawn to the largest picture. It was of a very large dragon-like creature with two heads. "A hydra?" I whispered to myself. As I looked at the picture, I noticed a small symbol on the creature, which appeared to be some kind of triangle pattern. I reached out to brush off the painting but I heard someone calling for me. I got back into the water and swam out through the little cave, and when I surfaced I saw Vax waiting for me.

"Want to ssspar?" he asked. I got out of the water, dried off, and got dressed.

"Maybe later, Vax, I just got cleaned up. I'm going into the city, though, if you want to come with me."

"Okay," he said, and we set off.

Well I'll work on it so I should post it Wensday afternoon, the day before I leave. he reason for that so I can leave you with one of my infamous cliffhangers untill I can get my comp hooked up at Hays.

The Pendant Bearers had gone for another day on the town, all but the exception of Elena, Chamel, Seylin, Sora, and Faile, who just stayed in the temple. Something had been bugging Elena, a strange smell of really old Mildew that none of the other's seemed to smell, except Chamel, who smelled it but never said a thing.

For some interesting time they went to the Library again, Elena wanting to be of some help in Sora's search, and Chamel to really only look at the pictures. Seylin and Faile stayed in their rooms, mind thier own buisness.

While these Pendant Bearers were going about, Silias walked the halls passed the library, five guards behind him. THey turned down several hallways, making their way for King Talon's chamber.

King Talon was reading over some scrolls when his chamber door was barged into. The Saurain's head sprang up and looked in shock as Silias stood there with three guards.

"Silias?! What is the meaning of this?!" Talon demanded.

"Your highnesss, you are under arrest for treason against the state."

Talon's eyes widened in surprise. "What?! How dare you accuse me of such charges?!?!!"

"Let me rephrase that. You will be charged, in a matter of hours." Silias's mouth turned into even more of a sneer, and his eyes narrowed. "When the populas learn it was you who released the Hydra."

Talon's eyes widdend again, not in shock but in horror. "You wouldn't!"

"Yes, I would. You see, Talon, you have been too lenient on tresspassers who were found. We should have killed them on the spot, and any others who came too close. Even then you refused my requests to advance our boarders. But no more..."

Silas pulled out a small jar and Talon recognized. "How did you!?!"

"Oh please, Talon, you must give me some recognition. The treasury seal was one I put in place years ago, before the current treasurer put his on. It was simple to break it, but even harder to find the right time."

"You see.... I have already sent a scout out to the Hydra Statue, to place the creature's source of power back where it belongs. Then I shall release it's soul and it will awaken again."

"Hundreds! Thousands will die!" Talon shouted.

"It is no concern of mine how many die, because we are over-populated as it is!" Silas shouted back. "You have ignored the fact that our population is growing faster than expected. We must expand our boarders and reclaim land that is rightfully ours. And when it is all over... the people will blame you, and then I shall take control." Silas stood back up and paced to the window. "And the first step would be to get rid of those annoying mamals that are infesting our home and land."

Hey, guys. I've had trouble getting on lately, between that blaster worm that's going around, the gigantic blackout in the north-east cornere of teh USA and naerby parts of Canada, and the fact that I'm currently visiting a friend of mine a few stated away. But now i have a while on, so can continue where i left off on my last post.

Mediar examined the pendant carefully.

"Thisss sshould not be too much trouble to clean. The mud hasss gotten into the nooksss and cranniess, but I can get it out easssily enough." he said, and started walking to teh back of teh shop. "If you wish, you can watch me, or you could look around teh shop." he added, as he sat down at a table with a number of tools, brushes and jars on it. I walked over and sat at another stool next to the table.

He first held the pendant over a bowl and poured water onto it, washing off some of teh mud. Then he picked up a very small brush, dipped it into a sort of paste in one of teh jars, and began to lightly srcub the dragon's head.

"Thisss passte will not only clean teh metal, but shine it asss well." He told me as he cleaned the mud out of teh dragon's eyes. I watched for a while until he cleaned almost helf off teh dargon off. He worked quickly, but i stil found myself gettign tired of watchign after a while. So I got up and started looking around the shop.

I quickly noticed that the main subject on almost all of Mediar's jewlery were dragons. In fact, there seemed to be about a dozen dragson that were repeated on the different pieces of jewlery. One of these looked a lot like the dragon on my pendant. I was admiring a bracelet adorned with that dragon's head, when Mediar stood up and said he was finished.

I walked over to retrieve it, and found myself staring at it as if i'd never seen it before as he finished polishing it off with a soft cloth. Not only had teh whole thing been cleaned, but it now shone like a well-cut diamond, which i didn't know was possible with metal.

"Wow," said, slightly stunned. "That looks better than ever. Thanks!" I said as he handed it to me.

"It wass my pleassure." he replied. "I was more than glad to ssee ssuch a fine piece and have a chance to look at it ssso clossely."

I complemented him on the work in his shop, after which he said something along the lines of 'You're too kind.' Then i thanked him once more and left the shop. I stopped to have a quick shower to wash off all teh mud before i went back to the castle for dinner.

In the morning after breakfast, I breifly considered seeing if the young Saurians were playing their game again and if i might join in again. But i decided not too, in case i landed face-first in the mud again. So instead i went to teh market place and looked around at some of eth other shops there, to see if anyone else made jewlery with dragons on them.
