Well, since I am Canadian of course, I had been hoping to go to one of the local Canada Day festivities today, but since I have the cold, I took an alternative, watching the Ottawa festivities on CBC Newsworld (it was extra special with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge making Ottawa the first visit on their tour of Canada; they're visiting my province as part of the tour, but I don't think I'm going to have much of a chance to see them in person, let alone meet them in person...oh well.).

Being in Ottawa, the National Capital of the country, I pretty much took in all the festivities of the past few days. I didn't really see the whole point of going downtown on my day off yesterday to go see the Duke and Duchess, but I caught peices on the tv while taking my nap yesterday afternoon... lol... Today I just relaxed with my friends, played some baseball and drinking games, as is tradition (2 points to whomever gets this reference, haha), just an absolute gorgeous day, and finished on parliament hill, watching the fireworks and then out with more buddies for after evening drinks. Good times all around.
