I started keeping a diary where I wrote what I felt and I never knew that I was so emotionally damaged before...

I'm kind of ashamed to say this, but I think I'm slowly losing an interest in reffing.
It's not like that wasn't obvious, due to my track record, but I just can't get motivated enough to do the reffing. It's gotten so bad that today I actually considered quitting reffing altogether (although if it were possible I would stay a SZ ref to finish Ash's adventure which I need to get back to doing (sorry about that, ash)).
I don't know whether or not I'll actually quit any time soon, though. I really don't want to dump 3 battles on the refs that already do so much more than I do (not to mention they're much better at I than I am), and I hope it won't come to that. If it does, though, then I'm sorry.

For now, though, I'll attempt finding a source of motivation. I think the main reason why I'm losing motivation is because I jumped into a task that I wasn't prepared for. In hindsight, I really think I became a ref WAY sooner than I should have. I probably should have waited and observed what the current refs do before jumping into it without knowing much about how to ref.
Not to mention the fact that I decided to ref 3 battles at once, when I'm probably only mentally prepared for reffing 1 at a time or something. I guess the load is becoming too much for me.

If anyone has a solution to my motivation problems, then I'd love to hear it. Again, I don't want to resort to quitting altogether, 'cause then that would only increase the load of the already-busy refs.

I've burned out myself on reffings plenty of times, as well as resurged and got back to my maximum speed. But for all of you that are quitting or wanting a break-take one. Please!

We want you all to have fun here, and we appreciate you all taking time to help further this fun by take some of the work. But if you are burning out, then by all means have someone help out.

Motivation comes and goes. Don't compare your reffing to anyone else, you will develop your style and quirks and make it your own. If you wanna drop to one, please do. We'll work it out. We will help out. As for motivation, I feel that just taking time to breathe and refueling yourself works. You dont want to make this a nuisance in your life So take that step back-go shoot zombies or workout or write. Come back in a week a month-what have you when you wanna jump back in.

And dont take more than you can handle. You've probably learned alot more than you realized by jumping in and now you can handle more if you started clean. But dont feel you have to. If you only do one reffing at a time, that's fine. If you do, that's fine too.

Blade, haste makes waste. I want to go through my BANNED Moves Challenge with Underscore let's say 70% first, take your time. Of course you can already start planning something original, even post the challenge and we start the battle, but we must have a referee who submits, too. I would have accepted the Dragonball Z challenge back those days, but I didn't see a single referee when I looked around us.

One thing I was wondering recently a bit related to this, why is Dirteng Shiftry's 'offical romaji'. I know what a Tengu is and I have never heard a Japanese person pronounce that Pokemon name, anyways the silent u appears in Japanese language in cases like after s or something. If I wrote Japanese Pokemon names with our alphabet it would be Daatengu just because I don't know how to get the line above a which indicates it's a diphthong with this keyboard.
