You open the pouch to find... A COMPASS! Funny thing tho, is that it doesn't point north, but is currently spinning around and around. Guess that would be why it was discarded...

You trek onward, noticing a pair of Spinarak fighting over a metapod they seem to have found.

Pocketing the compass, you ask your pokemon to keep your informed of any traps ahead.

Pushing aside a section of shrubs, you stumble upon three Combee buzzing around. They are startled by your presence, and head deeper in to the forest. Continuing on, you hear an almighty BUZZ heading your way, coming from where the Combee headed.

Let me leave you wonky magnet!

Steelix makes a beeline for Molto, but Molto's not out the fight yet. You stay frozen on the fight as Molto successfully splits into clones. and they all roll on the ground. Steelix looks annoyed and tries to Wrap one of them up, but manages nothing but rock and air.

Steelix roars as the Molto's all hurriedly move left and right. The real Molto though, is steathily getting toward the Ultra ball, but falls flat on level 3. All the Molto's fall still and Steelix takes this time to go into a full outrage. Its bashing everything in its path and Blasts of Rock fly outward. Two clones bite the dust. That just leaves the real Molto.

Steelix looks around, breathing heavily, and notes the real Molto finally moving again. But Molto has the upper hand. Its appendages flare out and zoom around Steelix, before dropping to the ground. The electromagnetic charges between the two act like a magnetized net, and strap Steelix to the ground. Molto finally reaches the sphere and holds it on its side, since its a metal sphere after all.

If they still attack, well then. Marauder, take the right most Beedrill, and force a Whirlwind that throws it back to the other Beedrill and Vespiquen. Then Wing attack anyone that tries to get near you.

Sonikku, follow up with Fire Fang on all three in whatever order you wish. If you get Tormented, switch to Thunder Fang.

Puck, Add an Icy Wind to Marauder's Whirlwind, and then Double Team, end with Extremespeed to Vespiquen.

At the mention of the shrine, the Vespiqueen makes a LOUD buzz, and the two Beedrills move in. Both Beedrills start with a harden, boosting their defenses. Your team spring in to action, starting with Marauder knocking back both beedrills a ways with his whirlwind, opening up attacks on the Vespiqueen. Puck adds an Icy wind, chilling Vespiqueen, but suffering from the drawback of Pressure. Sonikku jumps in with a fire fang on Vespiqueen, who responds with a Heal order.

The Beedrills fly back in to possition, preventing you from attacking the Vespiqueen again. They both use Iron Defence, boosting their defenses again. Vespiqueen fires a Power Gem from behind them, hitting Sonikku for minimal damage. Puck throws out a double team, while Sonikku bites the left beedrill for some nice fire damage. Marauder, though not approached, still delivers a wing attack to the left Beedrill, for good measure.

Finishing off this stand off, both Beedrill hit Sonikku with a twin needle, for minimal damage, whilst Puck's attempt at extreme speed is blocked by a Beedrill (takes the hit). Marauder dishes out another wing attack at said Beedrill, and Sonikku sets fire to the right most Beedrill. Vespiqueen fires off another power gem, at Puck, for light damage.

Irou looks at the biggest Ariados there and glares at it menacingly. Upon seeing this it gets so scared it can't move yet its buddies high tail it out of there. Ruhi then releases a blue powder which floats through the air and over Ariados lulling it into sleep. Kamon just starts piling rocks on top of it trying to crush it.

Marauder. Wrap the Beedrills up in a Whirlwind. Sonikku. Give me a Spin dash set 1 (Defense Curl+ Rollout) and blast one of those Beedrill with it. To help this, Puck, Thunder wave that Beedrill.

Sonikku should hopefully still be bashing the Beedrill with Spindash, so Marauder, whichever Beedrill that Sonikku hits, smack that one with Wing Attack. Puck, hit the other Beedrill with Thunder Wave.

Sonikku will be rolling about, keeping his speed so Marauder, you'll need to watch for Puck and crew. Puck, a Blizzard will do nice. Marauder, take our pick what what Beedrill to Aerial Ace.

You shout out "It doesn't have to be this way Queen of the Bees! I just want safe passage to the shrine! But if its a fight you want, it's a fight you'll get. (yeah, that sounded cool.)" Vespiqueen is impressed by your display, and promises you a reward should you be able to defeat her and her guards.

Marauder tosses up a whirlwind, blowing one of the Beedrills out of possition (50% to hit Vespiqueen). Sonikku begins 'Spin dash set 1', and uses both Defense Curl and Roll out on the remaining Beedrill, striking for average damage. Puck applies a Thunder wave for good measure, slowing the bug down. The whirlwinded Beedrill attempts to return to possition, but is being held in place (2 more actions, returns to guard duty at end of round), whist the remaining Beedrill uses Rage, directed at Sonikku, for light damage. Vespiqueen strikes at Puck with a Hyper Beam for Heavy damage.

Targeting the remaining Beedrill, Marauder hits it solidly across the chest with a vicious wing attack, for heavy damage. Puck throws a Thunder wave in to the whirlwind, adding insult to injury, while Vespiqueen recharges. The free Beedrill attempts to attack, but Paralysis sinks in, stunning it.

Finishing off, Sonikku rolls back at the Beedrill, striking for Heavy damage, allowing Marauder to sweep in and thwack it with its wing for Heavy damage. Puck opens up with his Blizzard, striking all three bugs for heavy damage, but suffering the affects of Preasure once again. Whirlwind Beedrill is no longer traped, but unable to attack due to dizziness. Rocked Beedrill uses Rage on Sonikku again, for average damage, and Vespiqueen uses heal order once more.

Whirlwind Beedrill returns to his guard possition, but Rocked Beedrill is unable to cover his full guard spot (25% chance to strike Vespiqueen)

Momentum is building, and Sonikku isn't a fool. He goes for the one already weakened, and delivers an ever increasing attack. Marauder dives in for a solid blow, and Puck throws a thunderbolt at Mr healthy beedrill, who strikes back with a pin missile. Mr Dieing Beedrill decides now is a good time to leg it, and bails, opening up Vespiqueen for attacks (50% chance to be hit). Vespiqueen fails to take any action this turn, mostly due to shock.

Sonikku rolls back around, aiming for the remaining Beedrill, who suddenly realizes that this is going to HURT LOTS. Especialy considering that angry Maraduer who is right behind with his wings open, and the little Puck, who's ability to throw lightning around was never mentioned in his battle briefing. He is also out. With both her guards gone, Vespiqueen is now open to attacks. She panics, and strikes out with a wild Power Gem, which fails to hit its mark.

Sonikku has the momentum, and he has the speed on his side. His final rollout strikes Vespiqueen hard in the chest, which is followed by Marauders wings and Puck's lightning powers. Knowing she is defeated, Vespiqueen offers her surender.

She IS weak, you could catch her, or honor her original bargain, and get information out of her.

A Hippowdon-grey in coloration-stomps arounds, merely getting comfortable before a mid-day nap. Its own Sand Stream Ability is halted, as the Sandstorm progresses eastward. Yu ponder if its another hippo, or the only other Pokemon with that ability, but you keep your wits about it.
