Oslo's crazy postgrad stuff is fairly manageable at the moment, but omg March is always so hectic so it's only a matter of time before shit blows up. @_@ I have projects in web design and faceted taxonomies due next week and then a gajillion other things due in the weeks to follow. I just finished helping my supervisor complete a big grant proposal and now he's transitioning me to another research project, so that's something else on my plate. So. The worst is yet to come, prolly.

I've been here on TPM for about 12 years (almost)...man, do I feel old at times (especially since I'm going to be 30 next month).

Not only that, I realized I'm one of only a few people in this ASB who registered in 2000, alongside Greyfox and RaZoR LeAf, so statistically, I think we three are the only currently active ASBers from that year, though I could be wrong.

2000 seems like so long ago I had to work out how old I was. I joined this forum when I was 16. Shit. Way to make a guy feel old Rossy, cheers. Take off the three year gap I wasn't here and I've been active on this forum for 13 years. And I was active in the #pokemasters chat for a long time too.

You only feel old since you're a decade older than me. By the way, how were the 90s? They're a bit fuzzy in my memory. But 13 years is long, yes, but also impressive, sticking it out for this long. Eventually I'll be here that long, hopefully.

There was no internet, TV had four channels (for me anyway, and one of them was mostly welsh), kids made their own entertainment. Cartoons were great. Shellsuits were not. For the greater part of the euro-pop music scene, there simply was, no limit.

I feel old as an MA student when all the freshers are 18 still. I'm the second oldest in my choir. I'm 23 and I feel old. What's wrong with me? lol
