My neighbours are moving to Australia (no pun intended), Perth I think. They're actually packing up today, flying on Friday. And my parents are going on holiday to Australia next year. Dunno where though. I'm notgoing anywhere. Can't afford it. Don't have any friends. Don't like flying. Is there a bus that goes to Australia?

Why the hell would you want to go to Perth? Sure they make money there, but it's just on the western side and nothing is there! If your family are going to Australia, tell them to go to Melbourne! Not Adelaide, that's the land of serial killers.

Tag-Team Contests are planned but probably not this season - in other words, after the Grand Festival. We might try it for the upcoming contests but I doubt it - I'd like to oversee said contest and I doubt I'll be Judging any Contests before the Grand Festival.

After the GF, though, who knows?

And also, those of you who didn't get a shot at the Tournament that is currently underway may be excited to know a slightly smaller-scale Tournament will run alongside the Grand Festival! Details will emerge soon.

it would be interesting to have a tourney like one from the anime, where the pokemon you use is picked randomly, so you have to think on your feet, not one you have and are comfortable with.

Generally I have males so its easier to remember Some, like Eevee and Masquerain I feel are more like girls. I dont know why exactly.

Yeah ditto for me, although I addapt them to my nicknames. Ny nicknames are gods, so the gender variates on what god the pokemon is named after.

Same, but my nicknames are after musicians, usually rappers, such as my Misdreavus, Missy Elliot and my Grimer, Mike Jones, and my soon to come Tyranitar, T-pain.

The genders of my pokémon are male usually. The exceptions are Rogue, ange de la mort (sneasel), Valhalla (golduck), Erdendrache (tyranitar), Xanthius (metagross), 093728546 (electrode), Terra (phanpy), Kusairisuishou (grovyle), Armada (charizard), Davin (smeargle), and Sonja (butterfree)...

Wow... that's a lot...

The various nicknames usually have explanations next to 'em whenever I use them in battle or contests...

When I think about it, I try to make an even split, but more often than not I go with male without thinking (or to fit the names) - a female Universe Man, for example, would be pretty weird.

Both Drivys on my team are female, as is Arven. That's about it, really.

Eh... I just choose them with what I feel like at the time. They do tend to be males more often than not, though.

Since my team is quite large I did something quite bizarre. I've made a table on the computer with all my Pokemons names on it, and given them a score out of 10 on how much they need to battle.

Example: Eevee has just been a battle so her score is 0. Flygon has never been in a battle and his score is 10. Magmar hasn't been active since a contest in December, so he's a 6.

It's mainly because my team aren't all getting expirience in battle. So by consulting my list I can see who needs to battle next!

It's a good idea, good to stay organized, back in the old days, I had a huge team, and I don't remember having to have experience, so I just used who I felt like, whether it be a feeling, one of my favs, or an arena/matchup advantage.

I do that too, but if I have an open challange I'll go for someone who needs the attention: particularly Tropius, Primeape, Politoed and Dragonair.

For the question at hand, I just go by who would fit the battle at hand. However, when I initiate matches, I almost always use the Pokemon who need experience, unless there's a theme (like my TMBG match).

Lorefel's been used in battle, actually. He fought alongside Wizard against Ozstar and Ozbra. I know this because I played the referee.
