Just wondering if I am still a qualified ref. I see I'm still on the rookie part. If not I'll do the mock battle and try to help out with these ref request ASAP, but in either way I would like for a more experienced ref to teach me about energy. I still don't know how to calculate the damage and energy that well so anyone that has the time to PM me, please do. Who knows I might ref one of your battles one day.

Arena: Rooftop of Indigo stadium. Resources are available. The floor is wet because of previously used water attacks.

Round Three

As round three starts of both pokémon look at each other fiercely at the muddy arena. After hearing their orders both monsters smirk.

It is Siege that makes the first move by walking up to an extra wet part of the arena, he turns around so that his behind is faced to his foe. Meanwhile, a little agitated by Seiges action, Slinky is covered in a blue aura. Unaware of Slinky’s actions the Nidorino kicks up some mud, heading straight for the dragon. It is a death on hit and Seige smiles at his success. That is, until he sees a massive wall of water rise up behind Slinky. A slight drop of sweat crosses his face right before he and his clone are hit by the wave. Slinky takes this opportunity to wash of the previously thrown mud.

Angered by the rudeness of Slinky, Seige storms right at her with his horn shining in the light of the moon. Frightened Slinky starts to gather energy, the orb below her head starts to shine harder and harder. Not able to gather enough energy fast enough, the Dragonair is hit by the Horn Attack. On a positive not, she didn’t lose her concentration and finally managed to find enough energy as a blast of golden light flies straight for now turned around Nidorino. Seige grunts under the pressure of the powerful attack.

Seeing his attacks mostly fail, Seige decides to go on the defensive and four more Seiges appear. The somewhat confused Slinky fires off electrical sparks towards who she believes is the real Seige. The sparks hit but the Nidorino vanished. The sparks do hit the floor and since several nice puddles have been create, the water conducts the electricity and manages to hit the real Seige, although only his left hind leg was in the puddle. Slinky smiles at her success but quickly grimaces as the earlier injected poison takes effect on her body.

After recieving their next orders, the poision bunny and the slithering dragon are ready to fight.

Seige starts off by kicking wet mud from the ground into Slinky's face. The female Dragonair hisses and slithers into the pond nearby. Suddenly the water rises over Slinky and covers the Nidorino, and evaperates his clone and Slinky's vision is cleared as the water washes most of the mud off of her. She climbs out of the water.

Nidorino immediately charges forward and nails the draconic serpent with his horn. When he looked up at her again, he saw a golden light, and the next thing he knew, he was on his side, and his opponent was breathing heavily a few feet away. He decided to right himself and make a new set of clones while she was still recovering. He concentrated and soon four Seiges were staring at the Slinky.

Slinky looks around, a little puzzled and fires off her Thunder Wave, hitting the closest Nidorino to her - which was unfortunately a clone. Her dissappointment worsens when her poision kicks in and she cries in agony.

Arena

The huge rooftop of Indigo Stadium. Massive crowds have turned up to see this battle between two ASBers that have long since retired. The clear roof has been opened and it's night. Flood lights illuminate the stadium. There is a huge amount of space, with several resources available for the pokemon, including some small trees, a pond and plenty of rocks and dirt. The ground is wet and the dirt is muddy due to a previous round's use of Surf.

Prodigy "Kick up some earthy Mud Slap debris to provide a momentary distraction while you charge in with a sharp, poky Horn Attack. At the end of the round, replenish your mirror images with another Double Team. Dragonair has proved a worthy adversary thus far, but we'll see how well she fares once we recapture initiative."

Pokemaster Ash "Dragonair, time to do some damage. Use Surf to do some damage and do more than counter his Mud Slap. Then use Hyper Beam when it comes charging in for the Horn Attack. Lastly, nail Nidorino with a Thunder Wave when it tries to use Double Team"
ROUND THREE, START!

As a gong out of nowhere sounds, Siege instantly darts to a muddy area, whirling around with a shrill cry before kicking a rather large clod of mud through the air while Slinky begins glowing rather menacingly. The patch of dirt shoots forward, but is unnoticed as Slinky gives a high pitched cry, summoning a wave of water to decimate its opponent while shaking off the mud that had previously landed on her horn. The Nidorino scowls as he is thrown backwards rather violently by the aquatic torrent, but gets up, though now without a doppelganger to back him.


Angered by this, the purple pokemon charges forward recklessly, as Slinky once more glows, and a spherical orb of brimming energy slowly forms in her jaws. With another growl Seige lunges forward, horn ramming Slinky’s neck (or lack of), but not before Slinky unleashes a brilliant golden beam of light as the Dragonair flies back. The Nidorino flies back in the opposite direction with a shrill howl of pain as the devastating attack lances through its body, and crashes to the ground.

Regaining its composure seconds before its opponent, Slinky crawls forward weakly and sends a bolt of electricity forward as Seige weakly gets to his feet, only to fall down once more as the powerful jolt locks up his muscles. With a mighty effort, Seige concentrates and forms two doppelgangers to aid him, and Slinky scowls slightly as the toxins course through his body.

Arena: A small crater in the arena. Even muddier now with the ground incredibly slippery.

The tables and indents got messed up a bit from word (mainly since MS Word just hates me...)

I may have ruled Thunder Wave a bit differently, since I used the game version. I also assumed Toxic had been used in Round 1, but I don’t thin that’s too much of a problem. Slinky lost a bit of energy due to not relaxing after Hyper Beam.

Prodigy- "Kick up some earthy Mud Slap debris to provide a momentary distraction while you charge in with a sharp, poky Horn Attack. At the end of the round, replenish your mirror images with another Double Team. Dragonair has proved a worthy adversary thus far, but we'll see how well she fares once we recapture initiative."

Pokemaster Ash- "Dragonair, time to do some damage. Use Surf to do some damage and do more than counter his Mud Slap. Then use Hyper Beam when it comes charging in for the Horn Attack. Lastly, nail Nidorino with a Thunder Wave when it tries to use Double Team."


[b]Round Three, Begin!

Prodigy immediately sends his Nidorino forward, ordering a Mud Slap. He steps and kicks the muddy ground very hard, sending a small shot of mud and dirt towards Slinky. She, however, is definately prepared. Slinky summons a powerful wave of water, which comes crashing down upon the arena, drenching those in the lower rows, destroying Seige's mirro image, and causing some solid damage to Seige! Slinky wasn't quite fast enough, however, as mud was still able to get to her before she could cancel it out. With her eyes burning, Seige takes the opportunity to charge and and ram the unaware dragon pokemon with it's powerful horn! Luckily for Slinky, she's quite wiry, so she was able to avoid the worst of the attack, though damage was done, and she's left with a small cut on her body. Slinky, now very angry, yells out and shivers as she feels the poison run through her long slithery body.

Slinky, clearly angry now, begins charging up the dreaded Hyper Beam! Unfortunately for her, there's still mud in her eyes. She fires off the powerful amber-colored beam, but it misses the real Seige by nearly two feet. Seige, clearly with the upper hand now, creates four identical copies of himself. They spread out in a circle around her. She fires off a crackle wave of electricity, but alas! It's a clone! As the round closes, it's clear that Prodgy and Seige have started to turn the tables on Pokemaster Ash and Slinky!

It have developped my may and it seems to be working pretty well, especially for people that don't like energy ko's. If you want I could PM you with my method of damage dealing and energy consumption and than rate it. I don't want to ditch the guys I'm currently reffing, although freelance refs are around, but they can still demand an approved ref if they want.
