Before you can issue commands, the Earth Maiden suddenly Taunts Bellossom viciously.

"Once you I've reduced you to salad, I will channel Arceus's power using my fellow Maidens and destroy all of Platrin with it," she barks confidently. "And it will be all your fault for failing."

Suddenly, Bellossom can't act. She's rendered immobile. The Earth Maiden laughs and lashes out at Bellossom with another powerful Venoshock, bringing your little fighter to the brink of defeat. Unable to defend herself, Bellossom looks up with tremulous eyes as the Earth Maiden approaches, preparing to a Poison Jab that will finish her off. Bellossom closes her eyes and prepares for the end.

Then, without warning, a purple shape streaks forward and leaps in front of Bellossom. It throws up a Protect, causing the Poison Jab to rebound uselessly. The purple shape turns back at you and smiles. You recognize his face.

"Did I miss anything, Buttercup?"

You, Yami and Aikoku decide to hang out in Honchkrow's chambers for a bit as you regain your strength. Soon, both your Pokemon are back in tiptop shape as you step out into the hallway to see the fallout from the battle.

The results appear to be rather one-sided. All the Illusions have been stripped in the battle and the Murkrows have been corralled into one corridor, with several sparking Rotoms keeping guard over them. You peer around and suddenly Yurei bounds toward you, looking again like a Ninetales.

"So," the Leader says as he approaches, looking at you and your Pokemon for the first time without the Illusions. "Not Rotoms after all, then?"

"It took a while to recover from that Destiny Bond," Mismagius explains, "but I've been looking for you everywhere, Buttercup. I'm so glad to have found you. Hopefully I will put up a better showing than I did last time."

Closing his eyes, Mismagius lets out a gentle chiming noise. Suddenly, Bellossom finds her strength returning as the Poison dissipates out of her body altogether. Together, Mismagius and Bellossom lash out at the Earth Maiden, slamming her with Giga Drains, a Shadow Ball and even a Psychic blast.

"I will not let a common temple prankster bring me down," the Earth Maiden says, growling. She strikes as Mismagius with a series of Shadow Claws, but Mismagius withstands the hits with excellent poise. He doesn't look like he's willing to be brought down again.

"I will not be brought down so close to my moment of glory," she says. "My accomplice will be here soon. There's no way you're making it out of this alive."

Mismagius sticks out his tongue and swoops in with a series of Psychic strikes. The sheer ferocity of these strikes deal quite a bit of damage and the Earth Maiden is promptly knocked off her feet as a result.

"No!" she grunts. "I must win!"

Bellossom, meanwhile, closes her eyes and begins Resting. Suddenly, she begins babbling in her sleep and unleashes an Energy Ball followed by a devastating Hyper Beam. However, the Earth Maiden just barely manages to throw up two Protects in rapid succession to block the moves. She then lashes out with a powerful Poison Tail against poor Bellossom, but at this point, it becomes clear that she won't be able to keep this going for much longer.

"Platrin Plateau..." the Rotom Leader murmurs, getting quickly lost in thought. "Yes, I believe... well, if I remember the legend correctly... yes, yes, come with me."

While his troops begin to lead the Murkrows off toward the border, the Leader guides you and your Pokemon back to the Western Woods. Along the way, a familiar Drifblim appears and dive-tackles Aikoku.

"My hero!" she squeals, nuzzling him affectionately. "You've saved us! You've saved us!

Aikoku looks like he wants to drown himself.

You manage to shake off this obsessive fangirl as you progress back toward the entrance to the base. The Rotom leader singes the fern with a quick Discharge and you enter. Once again, you find yourselves back in the main chamber with all the old appliances peppering the ground.

"When I was a young Rotom and hadn't learned to inhabit so much as a calculator," the Leader explains, "my grandfather led our colony into combat against a flock of Skarmory that had invaded Grave's Yard not unlike those Murkrows. It was the last time our kind saw battle before the events of tonight. To commemorate our victory against those birds, my grandfather plucked a feather from the leader of those birds. He hung it in plain sight so all might remember the victory."

He gestures toward a silver feather mounted on the wall. He hovers over toward it and removes it from the wall before returning to you.

"If I remember correctly, a Skarmory Feather is one of the items that will help you gain access to Platrin. Don't feel guilty about taking it. I intend to replace it with a Honchkrow feather to immortalize tonight's conquest," he says. He hands the shining feather to you. "Now, young one, once you collect four other items come back here and I will lead you to the shrine that will open Platrin Plateau's gates to you and your Pokemon. Is there anything else you require before you depart?"

I suggest you pick one of the other regions at random and travel there upon your Braviary. Once there, you can begin your search for the artifacts."

You hop upon Aikoku and take off into the air. Soon, you take off into the air and leave behind Grave's Yard dreary landscape. Heading into the rising sun, you and your Pokemon progress to your next destination.

Eventually, you touch down upon a wide, verdant plain. The wind ripples the blades of grass and the sun bathes everything you see in a warm glow. Looking around, you see a couple of Zigzagoons burrowing in the dirt while a Butterfree and a Masquerain flutter about overhead. Fifteen feet away, a Mime Jr. and a Jigglypuff seem to be playing tug-o-war with a pear.

You, Bellossom and Mismagius prepare to wipe out the Earth Maiden with one final strike. However, before you can attack, a wooshing noise can be heard as a shadowy figure materializes in front of your two battlers. The figure grabs onto Bellossom and Mismagius and, with another woosh, Teleports away. All three of them vanish.

"My accomplice," the Earth Maiden says, smirking.

Suddenly, the figure reappears by the Earth Maiden's side. Now, you have a better line of vision and see her clearly. She stands tall with sweeping skirts of white and blue.

"Introducing," the Earth Maiden says, "the former Intelligence Maiden of the Judgment Shrine."

Ralts lifts her face out of your pantleg and peers out at these sudden events with a look of awe.

"I've been maintaining a barrier against Psychic powers this whole time, selectively lowering it and raising it to allow myself to Teleport," she explains. "It won't work. And yes, I'm the one who has taken your Pokemon. I meant to grab the Maidens, but in the darkness... well, no matter. Your Pokemon are safe for now in the temple, but you won't be. I did this because the Maidens cast me out, threw me away like garbage. When I had a child, they all looked upon my daughter as a blemish of my character and the purity Platrin is supposed to represent. Once I defeat you, I will be able to channel their power all for myself and destroy this land."

"To share," the Earth Maiden corrects, looking up. "We're both channeling the power and so that we might share Arceus's might. The other Maidens denied me the position of Supreme Maiden. I want revenge. You know this."

"Right," Gardevoir says slowly. "Listen, Nidoqueen, your help in this matter has been invaluable, but I don't need you conscious for this to work. Consider this a double-cross, friend."

She raises her hand and fires off a Shadow Ball at her accomplice. The Earth Maiden slumps over, defeated.

Suddenly, Ralts starts tugging at your pant leg. She points at herself and at Gardevoir and rapid succession as though trying to illustrate a connection.

Gardevoir starts off by doing a little spin, creating three clones. Ralts looks at this little army of Gardevoirs and hesitates, unsure. Nonetheless, she shoots off a powerful Hidden Power that sparkles with Ground-type energy. It connects with a clone, which vanishes.

Smiling, the Gardevoirs begin charging up Shadow Balls and Ralts follows suit. Suddenly, they all fling their swirling spheres and the attacks zigzag through the air. Gardevoir's connects for some potent damage against Ralts, but Ralts's merely strike a clone. Drat!

Ralts then unleashes a Thunderbolt. The electric current singes the air and takes out the remaining clone.

"Nap time!" Gardevoir says, making eye contact with Ralts. She lulls her daughter into a deep, Hypnotic sleep.

However, Ralts begins to sparkle and Gardevoir's eyes go wide, realizing she made an error. Synchronize kicks in and Gardevoir, too, falls asleep.

Though both Gardevoir and Ralts are asleep, things stay tense. Suddenly, Gardevoir begins muttering in her sleep. Suddenly, she fires off a Heal Pulse at Ralts, inadvertently healing her. Ralts responds with a raucous Snore, pushing her into the lead.

Gardevoir begins muttering again. Ralts doesn't fare quite so well this time around as she suffers at the hands of a pulsating Confuse Ray, causing your sleeping ally to start smacking herself in her sleep.

All hope is not lost, though. Ralts fires off one last Snore, causing Gardevoir to flinch.

And still, neither Pokemon wakes up.

Ralts suddenly walked up while Gardevoir remains blissfully asleep. Gardevoir suddenly shoots off a Snore while Ralts, on the other hand, counters with a powerful Shadow Ball. It causes Gardevoir's Special Defence to take a dip.

Suddenly, Gardevoir wakes up. She closes her eyes and forges a mental link with Ralts, effectively Imprisoning her Shadow Ball. Without anything to do, Ralts looks on helplessly as Gardevoir strikes with another Shadow Ball of her own.

Deciding to play the role of arbitrator, you get Yami to slice the pear in half. He does so with a wicked Fury Swipe, handing over each of the halves to Jigglypuff and Mime Jr. respectively. Jigglypuff inhales the smell of the fruit while Mime Jr. dives right in, gobbling his half whole. Suddenly, he peers at Jigglypuff's half with puppy dog eyes.

"Tell you what," he says. "If you give me your half, I'll give you something I found the other day."

He then pulls out a Bony Mask.

Platrin Plateau
A strange, mysterious temple set high in the sky. You can only enter the road to the temple by releasing the seal chanted by the ancients long ago. There are two shrines, one in Sunshine plains, and one in Grave's Yard. They are inconspicuous, the Grave's Yard shrine is a maouselum of sorts. Here, you will find exceptionally strong Pokemon in the various rooms and spaces of this ancient land set high in the sky. If you are lucky, you may stumble on a Legend or two?

Ralts remains determined as Gardevoir continues her offensive with a new move. She commands grassy shoots to materialize and tug Ralts down to the ground; however, Ralts is too light to sustain much damage from that. Thus, your pint-sized Psychic is free to deliver yet another sizzling Thunderbolt.

Gardevoir decides it's time for a strategy repeat: she does a little spin and three clones appear, ready to help their mistress. However, instead of going for another electric discharge, Ralts unleashes a bevy of shimmering leaves that slice not only through all the clones but also through Gardevoir as well.

Staying strategy, Gardevoir now erects a bright Light Screen. It shines yellow and filters out Ralts's next Thunderbolt, minimizing its impact.
