Yes, you are a pokemon trainer living in the world of pokemon, in some continent or another. Your dream is to grow up and become either a pokemon master, an expert breeder, or a pokemon watcher. You have been inspired by your brother/sister who is a current master/breeder/watcher.

Now it's your turn. You have already packed for the trip. With you, you bring three potions, five pokeballs, and three thousand dollars. When the game begins, there will be a superstore that you can buy from no matter where you are. You tuck into bed and think about your journey, as your currently small life flashes before your eyes.
