MY R/B/Y Team, what ya think/rate

This is the team I keep and use the most although it may have one or two changes from time to time:

Mew, Level 100:
- Psychic
- Hyper Beam
- Thunder
- Fire Blast

My Starter, He can usually get the job done but if her cant he will have softened them up nicely for the next pokemon I pick.

Mewtwo, Level 100:
- Swift
- Psychic
- Thunder
- Recover

Built for ownage....pure and simple.

Gyarados, Level 100:
- Surf
- Hyper Beam
- Thunder
- Fire Blast

The most dependable one in my team, built to tackle almost every type and win.


The next 3 I wanted because they are the starters:-

Venusaur, Level 100:
- Cut
- Solarbeam
- Razor Leaf
- Hyper Beam

A tough grass type.

FIRE a.k.a Charizard, Level 100:
- Flamethrower
- Hyper Beam
- Fire Blast
- Cut

A tough fire type, he knows cut because i sometimes replace venusaur.

Carltoise a.k.a Blastoise, Level 100:
- Surf
- Hyper Beam
- Skull Bash
- Hydro Pump

The strongest water type I could come up with.

And thats my team, hard as nails!

If that's just in-game, it's fine. Else, I would recommend some changes:

Mew, Level 100:
- Psychic
- Hyper Beam
- Thunder
- Fire Blast

Mew can get Softboiled, therefore it should use Softboiled- even if you want a huge offensive Mew. For blowing holes in stuff, Softboiled/Swords Dance/Hyper Beam/Earthquake works nicely. Swift or Double Team can go in there if you prefer- this moveset is virtually guaranteed to tear holes in almost anything.

Mewtwo, Level 100:
- Swift
- Psychic
- Thunder
- Recover

Amnesia over Swift and Thunderbolt over Thunder take a loose cannon and tie it down, as well as using a nuclear reactor over gunpowder. Amnesia effectively grabs you turn advantage and leads to an automatic victory if you play it well.

If this is what you're looking for, Thunderbolt or Ice Beam over Thunder.

Well, in-game you can't replace Cut, but that doesn't make Cut suck less. Sleep Powder/Razor Leaf/Body Slam/Swords Dance is ideal.

Flamethrower or Fire Blast/Body Slam/Earthquake/Swords Dance or something is good...

Ice Beam/Earthquake/Surf or Hydro Pump/Rest is pretty good, I think.

If this is just your team in the game, it's fine unless you plan on doing some hardcore link stuff. I've only given you a lazy response, so if you want explanations or anything, just ask and I'll explain.

Yeah, basically... don't use HMs besides Surf, and never have two moves of the same type on one player... IE Surf and Hydro Pump.
