Not really. But CEB's thread reminded me of a mystery I noticed in RSE that's been pissing me off for a while now. There's a man in a house in Mossdeep city. Southwest area. He says he loves seeing young trainers battle. There's a mysterious door at the rear of his house, and it is apparently locked.

That was intended for battling e-reader trainers. You would have to go stand in front of the door, and you would need to have your GBA linked to another GBA that had an e-reader plugged into it and then scan an e-card trainer card, and then you could go through the door and battle the trainer. There is another house with a locked room for e-card trainers in FireRed/LeafGreen on Seven Island.
