Thread: Why's It Shiny?

I just bought a packet of Skyridge (EX R/S isn't out here yet...) and I opened it to find that I have a common, inversed-holo Hoothoot. I thought only rare cards were available in any form of holo. I haven't actually bought cards in a while because the price is a bit steep for only nine cards. So is making every card an inversed holo something that they do now? or have I been sold fakes?

Theyre more expensive becuz of the dot-matrix code printed on them. but no, u bought an original copy. Theyre called parallel-foils, or reverse holo in layman's terms. Been around since before e-cards even came out, so u missed out pretty much. The reverso-holo is randomly inserted into boosters and can be of any rarity. Juz so u know, theres also holo energy, but those can only be gotten in leagues and special events.

On value for money, it kinda depends. Some boosters can obtain u 3 rares in a single booster: a holo, non-holo and a reverse holo.
