All right, Cinnamon, you start with a Fire Fang on the tasty looking Mushroom.

Then show the dragonfly your power with a Rock Tomb. Finally end with a Will-O-Wisp on Norbert.

Topaz, as for you, Charge up and Thunderpunch Shawlong and then give Norbert a present.

“I love you,” said Bella looking into Edwards golden eyes. Edward looked back at the human who had captured his heart, about ready to say the words when a volley of gun shots puts an end to them both.

“God DAMN I hate her pretentiousness and his spinelessness. Anyway... where were we?”

In the quiet forest of some random place. Trees grow closely together as the sun's morning light drifts in. In this pristine place Metalixs Girl, back from her hiatus is walking back when she's met by none other than one of the League's own Head Refs himself, MLG!

The scene is tense as the two release their Pokémon for a tag-team match. MLG lets loose his Paras and Yanma, giving some life to the suddenly quiet forest. Metalixs calls forth her Charmander and Pichu into the arena, giving more variety as the forest can sense the battle brewing.

Can the new moon newbie's twilight return herald in a breaking dawn in the TPM League, or will MLG status eclipse her?

... I'm going to hate making all those puns

Let's get things started! Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready? GO!

Topaz starts to collect resitual energy from around her, condensing it into her body (-5 E @ Topaz, Next Electric Attack → +5). The Paras known as Norbort, starts to shake and shiver as lightly covered spores fly through the air at Cinnamon, soaking into his skin and making him wobble back and forth before curling up on the leafy brush and snoring away (-4 E @ Norbort Dresden/SLP → 90% Chance Awaken). With a static target, Shawlong tries to make eye contact with Topaz, (-6 E @ Shawlong Kufang) but the bugger has her eyes closed gathering energy!

The Pichu's eyes snap open as all that charged energy goes to her fists before she flies forward at the Yanma, (-6 E @ Topaz/-20 H @ Shawlong), the Bug-Type's hit hard and is sent buzzing back in defiance. Using the momentum, Shawlong creates a force of wind that helps Norbort drift on his movements (-5 E @ Shawlong Kufang, SPD → +2/SPD → +2). With his new speed, Norbort starts to dance around, scurrying around in the underbrush sending leaves flying up into the air as he pumps him self with a ritualistic insect war dance (-5 E @ Norbort Dresden, ATK → +2). All of the commotion doesn't stir the snoring Cinnamon from his rest though (SLP → 80% Chance Wake Up).

Speed on their side Shawlong and Norbort press the attack. Shawlong buzzes around Topaz like an annoying swarm of insects (-5 E @ Shawlong/-9 H @ Topaz, SPDEF → -1), seems like all that buzzing disoriented the little Electric Type. Norbort's attack isn't that far behind as he spits up a massive exploding seed that flies at Topaz (-6 E @ Norbort Dresden, but ends up ricocheting off of one of the trees instead and exploding what was left of the two teen-romance novel stars over there. Good riddance I say. Through all the noise, Cinnamon finally wakes up, wondering what's going on as Topaz pulls out a little gift-wrapped present for the opponents (-7 E @ Topaz). Norbort shifts around the package, before poking at it with one of his pincers (-5 H @ Norbort) just as it promptly blows up in his face reminiscent of Jokey Smurf and his exploding packages. With the Paras stunned, Cinnamon whips his tail around sending glowing orbs of fire at the bug (-3 E @ Cinnamon/BRN → 2%, ATK → -2

The round finally draws to a close, as MLG and Metalix go at each other in the forest. And the ref remembers why he dunnit like reffing Tag Teams.

BTW, Topaz is a male. Everyone mistakes him for a female, but I think Raichu looks more masculin, at least to me, but I wonder if I should just go ahead and change him to a girl? I did have a hard time deciding his gender, so I think I'll just make Topaz a girl, if Raichu didn't look like a male he would have been, lol. Would I have to reapprove the gender?

Ok, Norbert set up a Lightscreen, then Seed Bomb on Topaz and Cross Poison on Cinnamon.

Shawlong, use Supersonic on Cinnamon, then Ancientpower him and crush tight the rocks and cinnamon together with Psychic.

Topaz, you get youself some good Agility and then Roll(out) all over Shawlong.

Cin, close your eyes and ears and blow a Smoke Screen at Shawlong. Then heat Norbert up with Flamethrower, and before he can put the fire out, nail him with Arial Ace.

We're back! Can the peppy and cute team of Metalix take on the bug-eyed infestation of MLG, or will the team of cute be chased out by the sound of bugs in season?

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready? GO!

With an mass of speed on his side, Shawlong gets in Cinnamon's face before shrieking in his ears (-5 E @ Shawlong/CFN → 50% Attack Failure/CFN → 30% Chance Attack Fail) and it looks like Topaz got hit with it too. Norbort chittered like a cicada and brought down a sheild forming from the radient light filtering in through the forest (-6 E @ Norbort, Light Screen → 4 Attacks, SPDEF → +2 when behind Screen). Topaz shivers before she dashes off like a bolt of lightning, right before she ends up slamming right into a tree (-7 E @ Topaz, -7 H @ Topaz, CFN → 20% Chance Attack Fail). Cinnamon's eyes are dizzy as the Charmander tries to keep his surroundings in check, he sees Shawlong and tries to leap at him, but ends up racking himself on a low trunk (-5 E @ Cinnamon, -6 H @ Cinnamon, CFN → 40% Chance Attack Failure) as the mirage of Shawlong fades away.

Team Bug still has the advantage in speed as Shawlong mentally rips up the bedrock under the forest and chucks them at the flaming salamander ([i]-16 E @ Shawlong[/b]/-11 H @ Cinnamon, CFN → 30% Chance Attack Failure). Skittering to the side, Norbort launches a hard compact grass bomb at Topaz (-7 E @ Norbort/-9 H @ Topaz, CFN → 10% Chance Attack Failure), it seems to knock some sense into her. Snarling, Cinnamon glares in the direction of where that flying bomb came from and unleashed a jet of flame at the Paras (-8 E @ Cinnamon, CFN → 20% Chance Attack Failure/-18 H @ Norbort). Switching targets, Topaz curls into a ball and rolls at Shawlong (-5 E @ Topaz, CNF → Gone/-15 H @ Shawlong).

Shawlong didn't like that. His partner got flamed pretty bad, he wants to get that Charmander good, but is shocked as Cinnamon disappears in a burst of speed, flying through the air and pounds into Norbort (-5 E @ Cinnamon, CFN → 10 % Chance Attack Failure/-15 H @ Norbort). What the? How? Oh that did it, the rocks he used before are lifted and thrown to entomb Cinnamon (-8 E @ Shawlong/-10 H @ Cinnamon/-5 H @ Norbort). Whoops! Looks like Norbort got caught in the crossfire, and several of the mentaly thrown blocks bounced off the screen that the Paras had put up! With his prey in close quarters now, Norbort does a double slash that digs deep into Cinnamon's flesh (-7 E @ Norbort/-12 H @ Cinnamon). Rollin and rollin, Topaz maneuvers through the brush to hit Shawlong one more time (-8 E @ Topaz/-18 H @ Shawlong) knocking the bug for a loop!

It seems as if the forest will be rid of it's bug problem, but MLG's pulled himself outta the frying pan before, or will this round's turn around be a one shot deal for Metalix?

Great Job guys!

Topaz, you keep on rollin' trying to hit Shawlong as many times as you can. Then when you can't roll any more, give Cinnamon a helping hand.

Cinnamon, get Shawlong back with his own rocks by using Rock Slide. Then lay a Heat Wave on Norbert and then bite him with Fire Fang. For Flash or Hypnosis, try and close your eyes, but still attack.

Actually, when I look back at it, Norbert used Swordsdance (+2atk), not agility (+2spd), so damage should be corrected in first and second round, no?

Norbert, Spore on Cinnamon. Then Aromatherapy. Then Body Slam on Cinnamon.
Shawlong, use Psychic to stop Topaz from rolling and uncurl it, combine that with Hypnosis. Finish with Ancientpowero on Cinnamon.

Forgot about the +2 ATK, but the +2 SPD is from Shawlong's Tailwind as it affects the whole Party for three turns (rounds), so the + 2 SPD stays, I'll edit the second Round since that's where more physical attacks come in.

Edit: Actually, no I don't. The +2 ATK from the Swords Dance is canceled out by the -2 ATK from being Burned, so the damage is similar, Now I remember why I didn't have it listed under status because the two effects canceled each other out back to a neutral +0 ATK

Another round, another go. Can the bugs defend their forest, or will the slash and burn tactics of the cute patrol win out?

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready? GO!

Topaz's momentum keeps the Pichu rolling as he slams into Shawlong before the bug can act (-11 E @ Topaz/-21 H @ Shawlong), knocking the bug for a loop as he comes around for another attack. Shawlong concentrates and starts to glow, Topaz is lifted up into the air and forced against his will to uncurl (-9 E @ Shawlong/-13 H @ Topaz), guess the rollin' dynamo has been stopped as hes plopped on the ground. Norbort skitters around, whipping up more of the leaves around Cinnamon as he mixes in a burst of spores, turning the air into a mixture of leaves and sleep inducing particles (-5 E @ Norbort/SLP → 90% Chance Wake Up) that the Charmander can't seem to dodge. And Cinnamon curls up for another nap.

With his target's momentum gone and stationary, Shawlong buzzes around to make eye contact with Topaz (-4 E @ Shawlong/SLP → 90% Chance Wake Up) and the Pichu plops onto Cinnamon, using the Fire-Type as a pillow. Skittering and chittering, Norbort unleashes a scent on the air that floats around himself, though some catches on the wind and moves towards the sleeping duo (-5 E @ Norbort/SLP → 60% Chance Wake Up/SLP → 60% Chance Wake up). Team Metalix isn't waking up soon.

As their opponents sleep, Norbort and Shawlong take the offensive. The buzzing dragonfly uses the rocks around from his previous attack to fling at the Charmander and Pichu (-9 E @ Shawlong/-14 H @ Cinnamon, SLP → 50% Chance Wake Up/-9 H @ Topaz, SLP → 50% Chance Wake Up). Not even a second after Shawlong unleashed boulders from hell, Norbort leaped in to slam into Cinnamon (-7 E @ Norbort/-7 H @ Cinnamon, SLP → 40% Chance Wake Up/-5 H @ Topaz, SLP → 40% Chance Wake Up) knocking the Pichu around as well. Looks like Team Metalix has been getting POUNDED on in this last set. The force shakes Cinnamon back from his rest. Just after a nap and the Charmander's hungry. Hungry for mushrooms as he leaps at Norbort, his teeth on fire (-6 E @ Cinnamon, PAR → 25% Chance Attack Failure, SPD → -2/-18 H @ Norbort). Looks like Cinnamon got a taste of a bad mushroom mixed in there as his muscles twinge and spasm all over his body as Topaz sleeps soundly around the rocks.

It seems like Team Ghost has the upper hand, but Team Girl has the type advantage. Should she slash and burn her way through the forest, or can the bugs defend their home from industrialization?

Another round of shinanigans for all! Will this match see the destruction of Ghost's insect haven, or will Metalix be heading back for the city?

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready? GO!

As the fight goes on, Shawlong still has the presence of speed on his side as he uses those mystic powers of his to throw the boulders at Cinnamon again (-8 E @ Shawlong/-13 H @ Cinnamon). Norbort starts skitting side-to-side in another ritualistic dance (-5 E @ Norbort, ATK → +2). All the commotion manages to wake Topaz from his sleep, seeing the two bugs having fun with their last attack, so he charges up before dashing at Shawlong, his body covered in electricity (-10 E @ Topaz, -6 H @ Topaz (RECOIL)/-19 H @ Shawlong), spinning the bug around in circles as it tries to right itself. The Yanma provides a moving target, as Cinnamon gets his muscles to move and unleashes a blazing burst of flame (-11 E @ Cinnamon/-7 H @ Shawlong, TKO'D!), and the Bug is down!

The fight's a little one sided at this rate, so it's time for Ghost to release his next one into the fray and see if Norbort can use the back-up, or be charbroiled like the rest of the forest by the end of the next round.

Ghost brings in Sanoske, the Heracross to the fray. Will Team Bug be enough to beat Team Cute, or will the cuteness infest the forest instead?

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready? GO!

With the addition of Heracross, Norbort can feel the support, unleashing some spores onto the air, (3 E @ Norbort), the spores catching on the thermals from the growing fire and rising into the canopy. Topaz takes the chance to reverse her own magnetic field (-5 E @ Topaz, Immune to Ground → 5 Actions). Norbort wasn't ready for Cinnamon to blast through the air and slam into Sanoske quite so hard (-4 E @ Cinnamon, -20 H @ Cinnamon/-20 E @ Sanoske, -10 H @ Sanoske) and Cinnamon wasn't expecting Sanoske to swing take his momentum and swing him into a tree.

Topaz, floating above the ground, starts to rub his hands together and twirl that invisible mustache of his (-4 E @ Topaz, SPATK → +2). Sanoske takes the fight to Cinnamon as his elbow comes down hard on the Charmander's head (-9 E @ Sanoske/-14 H @ Cinnamon).
The last attack still floating on the thermals from the fire, Norbort shifts upwind to let the spores float on the wind at Cinnamon (-4 E @ Norbort/SLP → 10% Chance Wake Up). The Charmander snores loudly on the bed of leaves (SLP → 20 % Chance Wake Up).

Since theres a bunch of rocks littering the ground, Sanoske decides to grab them and hurl them at Team Metalix like a massive landslide (-13 E @ Sanoske/-2 H @ Cinnamon (TKO'D!)/-10 H @ Topaz). Cinnamon is down and out, and time for Metalix to send out her next combatant.

Norbort is still around, and so is Topaz. With the introduction of a new member from Metalix side, can it keep the momentum, or will Ghost pull his butt outta the frier?

A slight snag in the flow of things and we're back on track. As Mitalix unleashes another youngin' from her ranks, Jade the Ralts can already feel the heat of both the battle and the fire. As the fire spreads through the forest and spores mix with the embers, can either team spread its lead, or will they all disappear into ashes?

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready? GO!

The Herracross starts off by stomping his feet like a sumo wrestler, getting himself prepared for combat (-3 E @ Sanosuke), however he seems to get nothing from the exercise as Topaz claps excitedly while floating in mid air (-2 E @ Topaz). That's odd, why does Jade look so pumped for battle (-6 E @ Jade, ATK → +2). Even if she's pumped, the skittering bug known as Norbort slices into her (-5 E @ Norbort/-16 H @ Jade).

Jade can see that Norbort is preparing for a hard tackle, but she sneezes after some embers and ashes get too close. Uh-oh, it looks as if there were spores laced in those ashes as Jade nods off (SLP → 10% Chance Wake Up), a mental connection seems to link the two, and Norbort too, falls over sleeping contently (SLP → 10% Chance Wake Up). Dejected, Sanosuke goes through his battle preparations once more (-3 E @ Sanosuke, ATK → +2). Topaz curles up and rolls up, over, and across Norbort (-4 E @ Topaz/-9 H @ Norbort, SLP → 20% Chance Wake Up).

The Pichu still has his momentum as he makes a sharp bank and steamrolls towards the sleeping Norbort again (-7 E @ Topaz/-12 H @ Norbort, SLP → 30% Chance Wake Up). Sanosuke, psyched for battle, rushes up to the sleeping Jade and lets out a loud bellow of buggyness (-7 E @ Sanosuke/-18 H @ Jade, SLP → 20% Chance Wake Up), sending the Ralts flying. Even though the bug's been turned into a pepple pizza, Norbort continues to snore just as Jade falls to the ground, bouncing next to him.

This chaotic match of cross-attacks and such is finally at an end. Ghost's team still has its cohesion, while Metalix seems to be wavering on the sidelines. With her team asleep and rolling around, can Metalix finally manage to force Ghost to move onto his final Pokemon, or will she be playing the defensive from now on?

What put Jade to sleep? If Norbert did, shouldn't he be asleep as well?

Okay guys, that didn't work out as well as I thought. Tapaz, go ahead and take Norbert out with Rollout. If you get unrolled, immediately use Uproar, I think that MIGHT wake Jade up.

Jade, use Sleep Talk until you wake up, then use Psychic on Sano.

Norbort's spores were caught on thermals and were spread around the arena, by luck Jade was caught in them this round. I forgot about Synchronize and it's been fixed.

Sanosuke, quickly get in front Norbert, take that Rollout and Counter it back! Then Earthquake twice!

If Magnet Rise stays up longer than 1 action for any reason, use Rock Slide instead.

Another round in and someone's going to drop! Will Norbort survive while Topaz tries to bring him down, or will the Bugified unity with Sanosuke stop the raging Pichu in his tracks? What of Jade? What of Billy?! WHAT OF THE LITTLE CHILDREN??!

Pokémon Battle all set?! Ready? GO!

Jade fumbles around in her sleep before opening her eyes! The Ralts is awake as she sees Sanosuke there, eyeing up Topaz. Jade cuts loose with a mental blast of energy (-6 E @ Jade/-15 H @ Sanosuke), the bug got hit pretty hard, but he's ready as Topaz comes rolling in (-10 E @ Topaz, [b]-17 H @ Topaz/-15 E @ Sanosuke,-10 H @ Sanosuke). Norbort seems to sleep through all the ruckus, soundly. That is before he leaps up into the air like a leaping spider and latches onto Topaz (-7 E @ Norbort, +5 H @ Norbort, SLP → 40% Chance Wake Up/-11 H @ Topaz)!

Topaz's momentum broken he starts it up again as he curls into a ball and heads right for Norbort (-4 E @ Topaz/-9 H @ Norbort, 50% Chance Wake Up). Amazingly, the Paras sleeps through the flattening and charges up his energy before flying at Jade, knocking the Ralts for a loop (-9 E @ Norbort, -1 H @ Norbort (Recoil) TKO'D!/-11 H @ Jade). And the recoil damage finally takes out the little bug dude.

Ghost calls back his warrior and ponders his next choice. Will he stick with his Bug Blitz theme thus far, or will he throw a wrench into Metalix' works?

GhOsT ponders his next choice, and as he throws the PokéBall, the sound of trumpets fills the burning thicket and it's revealed that he's unleashed a Vespiquen! The royal monarch sees the devastation brought onto her beloved home, and (while glad the bad teen romance vampire novel thingie characters are dead) this will not be tolerated!

And so, with GhOsT on his last two Pokémon and Topaz about ready for his own dirt nap, will the royal decree reach to all the bugs in the forest, or is this the revolution the peasants have been waiting for?

Her highness is first off the bat, leading into battle like the kings of old setting loose a draft of ominous intentions at Jade (-6 E @ Elizabeth/-11 H @ Jade). The Ralts is shaken, and with his queen on the battlefield, Sanosuke slams his foot into the ground, causing the soil, leaves, and other burning things to roll forward, striking into Metalix' land developers (-13 E @ Sanosuke/-10 H @ Jade/-4 H @ Topaz, TKO'D!), and the Pichu is finally downed!

While Metalix recalls her own downed warrior, the forest is still ablaze! With the rockin-and a rollin set off by Sanosuke, the trees don't look very stable as more embers were launched into the air and roots uplifted.

Even if the bugs manage to win, will they be able to rebuild the forest, or has Metalix 'won' in another sense with her slash and burn techniques?

Nice job, Topaz, well done. We just have to get this forest cleared, since it attracts vampires and werewolves, and isn't safe. (I don't care for vampires or Twilight either :p) I can't send my plant Pokemon out to this job, and I've gotta send in the big guns. Come on out, Sterling! Skarmory Male with Sturdy.

Sterling, start out with Tailwind to speed you and Jade up, then Drill Peck Sanoske and then Air Slash him.

Jade, Fire Punch and Charge Beam Elizabeth, and end with an Ice Punch to her.
