Just wondering why HTML is disabled in our posts? It would be kinda cool if we could put some tags into or posts and stuff.

It'd be kinda cool if a lot of people got their passwords stolen too

vBulletin has horrible HTML sanity checks. By horrible, I mean it actually doesn't have any. People could use Javascript to redirect people to cookie-hijackers and all sorts of stuff that could compromise the board's security, which is why it is always disabled.

Besides, what functionality does HTML provide that isn't already included in our custom vB Code? Apart from tables, I can't think of anything else worth having...

The ezBoard allowed HTML, I seem to remember. That was a horrible time since people just exploited it to post huge images, redirections, annoying music and shit.

HTML is a bad idea on a message board.

I see your point now. And I suppose most can be done with the VB code. Right thanks for that.

The only thing that vB doesn't have regarding codings, for me anwyay, is a proper "Justify" alignment code. For some reason, I see large posts and literary pieces looking better when all the walls of texts are lined up together. But that's just me.

Well, at least you can't say I'm not a stickler for ideas:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. In velit urna, fringilla mollis, scelerisque quis, tempus vitae, ante. Pellentesque venenatis ipsum. Aliquam pharetra aliquam risus. Morbi pulvinar, ligula semper rutrum euismod, tortor leo porttitor purus, quis venenatis nibh dolor adipiscing massa. Pellentesque sed dolor. Maecenas tellus. Etiam viverra mi nec pede. Vestibulum scelerisque ante. Etiam auctor sodales libero. Suspendisse arcu. Etiam dapibus justo eget wisi. In hendrerit dignissim sem. Nullam nisl.

So alls I have to do is and it'll properly align like that? Nicely done.

    Nice reference, by the way.

if html was aloud people would do music in their posts, that why vb code is more limited to pretty text.
