Going over the approved new TM Compatability list, it is listed that any pokemon that can learn multiple protection attacks can learn Recover... so I was curious to know if Macedon (Magby) could learn it, seeing it can learn Detect and Protect... If he can I will take a Recover TM as my Bday prize... if he can't, well I'll have to think on this one further...

Alex: we really should make that list more specific. I understand the rule of thumb so far has been 3 or more protective moves (since Scyther can learn both Protect and Light Screen but not Recover).

In any case, since Magby can learn Protect, Detect and Barrier, that is enough to qualify. Enjoy your gift!

Alright, time for a new purchase, as well as a little correction...when I got that Recover TM, thinking it would work for Goldwyne, I realized I was wrong; she cannot make use of Recover unfortunately, but I'm not intending to waste the TM, so I'm going to give it to Aqua instead, just so she'll have a "faster" recovery move.

Meanwhile, I'm not going to let Goldwyne down without buying her something she can make use of, so can I buy her a Sunny Day TM and a Solarbeam TM, as well as a Signal Beam TM and a Charm TM for Mystic, please?

Looking at the Defend Order and Secret Sword TMs though, I have a funny feeling they might not get much use, although I personally think we should have a discussion about the latter's compatibility list on the tagboard.

Anyway, checking my math, I believe that should be 146 Stamps.
