ROUND 1 BEGINS!

The Scene opens on a large open plain. The Grass and trees sway gently around and two trainers approach a dusty patch in the grass where the ground has been worn away. Throwing a pokeball each the Two combatants appear and face each other. At one end, a small determined looking Black Larvitar named Ancalagon, at the other a confident looking Absol named Lyra.
The battle starts quickly with 4 more Absol's seemingly joining the fight with the use of the Double Team technique. The smaller Larvitar seems unfazed by this however and shows its composure by simply Launching an attack rather than worry about the clones. The attack in question is Earthquake and as the ground begins to shake Absol has to brace itself, taking damage from the broken earth and losing the concentration required to keep the clones.
Angered by this Lyra howls and calls forth a blast of cold air which blows across the arena. In response Ancalagon causes another howling wind to rise, this one picking up pieces of debris and dirt from the arena. As the two attacks collide they begin to swirl around each other, forming a vortex of sorts over the battlefield. For the Next few turns an Icy sandstorm will hang over the battlefield, damaging both contenders as although Larvitar is unnaffected by the Sand, the freezing temperatures chil him to the bone while Lyra is not only buffeted by the Sandstorm but has her own attack turned against her also.
Narrowing her Eyes to see through the storm Absol fades out of sight, determined to do some damage to its stumpy little foe who is currently scanning the area to no luck and reappears directly infront of it. It Cries out as Absol slams into it with its Faint Attack and lashes out wildly with its own attack, catching Absol in the ribs with a Brick Break.
Both pokemon break from the assault in midair and land facing each other. Both pokemon taking damage from the Storm and finding it difficult to see each other.

ROUND 2 BEGINS!

After the opening round both Pokemon realise they are in for a good fight and brace themselves for the next round as they receive their orders.
Deciding that Speed could be the Key to victory Larvitar begins to spin on the spot using a DragonDance technique but as it stops it has no time to react to the incoming water attack which hits it hard, knocking it to the ground. Its only consolation that it managed to avoid the confusing effects of the attack.
Slightly angered by this Ancalagon nips up and stomps its foot into the ground, causing another Earthquake. There is nothing Lyra can do about this but take damage however, knowing that Ancalagon plans to do the same again, it can do something about that. Locking Eyes with its foe it places a Curse on its opponent called Torment. Blocking it from using the same attack in a row.
Ancalagon looks around nervously now as it seems to be unable to recall which attack it should use, yet realises it should be so simple. It finally gives up trying to remember and simply tries to brace itself as it sees the Absol lunging forward, launching an Ice Beam. It hits hard once again and a thin Layer of ice covers Ancalagon causing it to shiver. Its not enough to actually Freeze the little Rock type but it definitely doesnt like the cold and shivers further as both Pokemon feel the effects of the Icy Sandstorm.

The Icy wind whips across the Arena one last time, chilling both pokemon before dying down.
Lyra decides that the wind hasnt quite done yet and opens her mouth, launching a Blizzard attack at Ancalagon.
As the attack Dissipates she looks around for her opponent but is angered when all she sees is a small hole in the ground and begins to look around nervously for him to reappear.
Deciding there was no way of knowing she prepares herself mentally with a Calm mind technique and feels her abilities raise just as Ancalagon bursts from the ground, smashing his little fist into her again with a Brick Break.
The Larvitar ends the round by stamping his little foot again and sending out seismic waves to tear through the field once more. Since its only order was relax Lyra has no way of defending and takes the brunt of the attack.

ROUND 4 BEGINS!

Happy that the wind has finally gone Larvitar glares at its opponent and begins to glow, summoning rocks from the floor which hover before flying towards Lyra. Having other ideas however she dashes to the side, dodging with a Quick attack before slamming into Ancalagon and preparing to follow up with her next attack.
Ancalagon decides to attack Low, smshing the ground and sending a 'wave' of loose rocks and boulders towards Lyra who is going high with her attack, a Freezing Blizzard, can do nothing to get out of the way but the same goes for her opponent who is chilled by the cold wind!
The little Larvitar jumps up again and charges at its opponent once more, intent on hitting yet another Brick Break. Remembering the pain of that attack all to well Lyra decides to try doing something about it, firing a Water Pulse at her foe. It connects and drives the little Rock type along the ground. Unable to connect with his attack he takes some consolation in the fact he is neither frozen nor confused.

This round starts off with both Pokemon almost exactly evenly matched in terms of their health and energy. Ancalagon starts things off by waving his arms in the air, invoking a slight dark aura. Lyra doesn't take any notice as a similar dark cloud envelops her for a brief moment; indeed, she is too busy seeing what the future has to hold. She probes the space-time continuum until she finds a moment when her foe seems unguarded... Without hesitating, Lyra fires a wave of psychic energy into the future, returning to her mind to the present with no idea of what Ancalagon has done. (-3% EN Ancalagon, -7% EN Lyra)
Lyra smirks, briefly recalling the image of a psychic blast barreling through her foe, before she braces herself and closes her eyes. Without delay, a cold wind begins to pick up in the arena, swirling around both competitors. The wind picks up strength without warning, carrying particles of snow and ice, and flies across the arena at Ancalagon. The Larvitar is not unprepared, however; he has summoned several good-sized rocks that hover in front of him. They successfully absorb some of the Blizzard, although Ancalagon does have to strain to keep them stationary, before he hurls them at the source of the Blizzard: Lyra. The rocks impact hard, the effect made that much worse because of their chilled state. (-6% HP Lyra, -10% HP Ancalagon, -9% EN Lyra, -6% EN Ancalagon)
Lyra scowls and tries to ignore the bruises the mystical boulders left. Closing her eyes, she once more focuses on summoning a chill wind... but her mind fills with a dark cloud, preventing her from calling up another Blizzard. Lyra frowns as she tries to figure the cause of her ailment out... but she is interrupted from her thoughts by a blinding pain across her front legs. She crumples to the ground as Ancalagon jumps back, snickering. (-9% HP Lyra, -5% EN Ancalagon)

Ancalagon kicks things off this round by flying at Lyra, his fists once more outstretched and ready to use Brick Break. However, before he can land the blow, Lyra quickly fires a shot of ice at the Larvitar, knocking him back quite far. When Ancalagon gets back up, he notices that he feels much colder than normal... upon inspection, the Ice Beam seems to have given him a layer of frost over the lower part of his body. That'll certainly restrict his movement a bit. (-12% HP Ancalagon, -7% EN Lyra, -3% EN Ancalagon)
Ancalagon gets back up slowly and tries to charge Lyra again, his fists this time glowing with a whitish energy, but finds that he cannot move as quickly as he used to. Nonetheless, he makes his way over to Lyra the best he can. Likewise, Lyra tries to use Quick Attack to get out of the Larvitar's way, but as soon as she tries to run on her injured legs, she stumbles over them and falls back to the ground. Hence, Ancalagon can land his Secret Power attack with ease, despite his icy condition. Incidentally, the Secret Power inexplicably manages to make Lyra slightly drowsy. (-7% HP Lyra, -2% EN Lyra, -5% EN Ancalagon)
Lyra fights to keep awake, yawning slightly, not noticing her foe moving for her again. Ancalagon, not having far to go, manages to judo chop Lyra again... but the downside to this is that it certainy wakes her back up. She angrily spouts a jet of water from her mouth that impacts heavily with Ancalagon, throwing him back a ways. (-9% HP Lyra, -9% HP Ancalagon, -5% EN Lyra, -6% EN Ancalagon)

Ancalagon begins this round by sitting down in a meditative stance as best he can. He closes his eyes in prayer, silently reaching out to the gods of the Pokemon world. So deep is he in focus that the Larvitar barely notices the beginnings of a cold wind whipping through the arena. However, it picks up fairly quickly and hence becomes impossible to notice. The wind suddenly spikes in intensity rather sharply, barreling past Ancalagon and knocking him over. As the wind dies down, Ancalagon's prayer goes through and the sun starts shining considerably brighter. (-15% HP Ancalagon, -5% EN Ancalagon, -9% EN Lyra)
Ancalagon scowls and picks himself up, the icy coating covering him thickened. He raises his arms and summons a horde of rocks to try and surround Lyra, but his impediment slows him down. Lyra has enough time to summon another blast of cold wind, and even though it is weakened by the sun, it's more than enough to send Ancalagon into the realms of unconsciousness. (-2% HP Ancalagon, -5% EN Lyra)

As Ancalagon returns to his Pokeball, his trainer immediately replaces him with a young Swablu, focused and ready to go. The sun beats down on the two contestants as they get ready to go. Sensing no action from her opponent, Melian closes her eyes and focuses for a moment, taking in the sun's energy. As soon as she deems it ready, Melian opens her eyes and releases the charged beam of sunlight from her beak... but there are suddenly 5 Lyras where the Absol had been sitting moments earlier! Melian takes a chance and fires the beam at the second one from the left... and the Solarbeam passes right through. The four remaining Absols leer at Melian as the Swablu sighs. (-4% EN Lyra, -8% EN Melian)
Melian shakes her head and flaps up into the air. She scans each of the Absols in turn, and focuses her eye on the one on the far right. She dives at that Lyra, glowing faintly, and strikes precisely, driving her beak into the Absol's skin. Lyra yelps, and immediately all of the clones fade. However, this does not deter Lyra from loosing a bolt of electricity, which hits easily due to Melian's close proximity. (-6% HP Lyra, -9% HP Melian, -4% EN Melian, -5% EN Lyra)
The next part of the round works very much like the last part. Except with ninjas. (-6% HP Lyra, -9% Melian, -4% EN, -5% EN Lyra)
As the round ends, a ghastly noise pours through the stadium. A tear appears in the air between the two combatants and a large orb of psychic energy barrels out of it at Melian. As the attack hits, a smirking Lyra can be seen as the tear fades. (-8% HP Melian)
