[Game] !Type Me! [Mod Approved Lady Vulpix]

Alrighty now, I had this idea ratt-ling in my head for sometime now, so while I blow my eardrumbs out to block out Naruto I write unto you!!! The RULES!!

The Objective of the game is to write down all the know pokemon, but you can only write one. That is, one per box, and no double posting...

..and it has to be super effective to the type above it. If it is a double type, you only have to match up to one type, but if you match up to both types, you get a point! If nothing is super effective against the pokemon you write down, you get a point!

The only rules are that no pokemon can be used twice and you cannot use the evelution (sp? -_-) of the pokemon before or the number before...An example.

And I have a few questions about how weaknesses are judged...


1. I believe there have been slight adjustments to the type chart from generation to generation (besides the obvious addition of Dark and Steel in GSC). Which generation's type chart are we using?


2. Do double weaknesses rely on the attacked Pokemon having two types, or the attacker having two types? For example...

Magcargo, Squirtle: Water > Fire AND Water > Rock. Squirtle's one type beats Magcargo's two types.
Nosepass, Lotad: Water > Rock AND Grass > Rock. Lotad's two types beat Nosepass's one type.

So which one would result in a point? Or would both of them score?


3. There have been a few Pokemon over the years that have changed types. Magnemite and Magneton come to mind; I'm not sure offhand if there have been others. For these Pokemon, should we use their original types or the most recent ones?

All type charts are the same since Dark and Steel were added. Type strengths/weaknesses have never changed. Only some abilities neutralize type weaknesses, like the Levitate ability in the Gastly line.

Alrighty! Ummm, update...um....*very hard thinking face* Yeah, I don't remember...I can change again if you want ^_^; *itches my head*

Houndoom is weak againt Kingdra's water. One match, no point.

Abomasnow is strong against water and dragon is weak against ice but water counter blances that. No point.

Charizard is flying and fire, which fire kills both ice and grass, and flying is also stong against grass. That's super SUPER effevtive. One point to Knight of Time

Onix is effective against Charizard twice over. One point to Lady Vulpix

Breloom is super effect thanks to it's grass and fighting. One point to BladeMaster

Chatot is super effective against Breloom Kight of Time now has two points!

Lanturn's electric zaps flying. One match. No point.

Torterra's double type is super effective against Lanturn. BladeMaster now has two points!

Weevile is super effective against grass and ground through it's two types but they cancel each other out, sorry no point.

Fett one negitive one point . Houndoom was used ^_^.

Hitmonchan is weak against bug and point. No point (Houndoom did not count)

Lugia's types kill Hitmonchan's! Sir Pika gets one point.

Sabeye's dark and ghost trumps the purply element of Lugia Crazy Elf boy gets one point!

That's right, Hitmonlee's dark does work, but no biggy Crazy Elf boy gets 2 points!

Gligar does...indeed! Sir Pika has two points . In order, newest, both, newest ^_^

Double dose of death with Ludicolo Crazy Elf Boy has three points!

Butterfree is a double killer Lady Vulpix has two points!

Probopass (whatever it is, I had to look it up) is rock, so strong against flying and bug. Mega Horny gets a point Sorry, I'm blond ^_^

Hitmonlee has already been done Dark-Chan has negitive one point.

Latias does nothing effective against Probopass. No point.

Dratini is strong against dragon ^_^. No point.

Glaceon does. It's only one super effective. No point ^_^

Vulpix is super effective! No point.

Omanyte is water, super effective against fire, and so is rock! BladeMaster has three points!

Hopip, flying and grass are super super effective against Omanyte Shinypkmnchaser gets one point!

Clyoster is both ice and water! Super super effective! Mega Horny gets one point!

Raichu is super effective only once. No point.

Rhydon is rock and ground! Super effective twice over Crazy Elf Boy has four points!!!
