Ability field effects...

Pokemon Emerald added onto the ability system by granting several abilities "field effects" (for a lack of a better term). Like how the ability Pressure, for example, increased one's wild pokemon encounter rate slightly. Or how Magma Armor and Flame Body halved the steps needed to hatch eggs.

Obviously, field effects are back (as plainly seen with Magma Armor and Flame Body). My question is regarding if any changes were made to this system, especially in regards to the new abilities that were added in Diamond and Pearl.

Does anyone know?

I believe that there really haven't been any changes/additions to the Overworld effects of the abilities, except LightningRod, which increased the amount of phonecalls you would receive in Emerald, but of course that feature isn't used in Diamond/Pearl. None off the new abilities that were added to D/P have an Overworld effect.
