Round 16

In this happy jolly world, these two pokemon don't miss a beat. Although winded, Sneasel rises to his feet. A dash here, and then there, and then suddenly, he's gone. Porcupo tries to keep her guard up, but a slash to her rear catches her off guard. She's taken back by the brashness of such a move and therefore can't attack!

Upset over that hit, Porcupo now runs in. A diving attempt was first foiled as shards of Ice crashed into her face! She murmured very very negative things, before reattempting, and catching the Sneasel along his right side. Fangs sank into him, injecting him with enough pain to release him from consciousness at that moment.

Round 17

With the battlefield returning back to the original world, things look to have calmed down. Not a chance. crystalline energies formulate about Porcupo, before steadily flying through their invisible path to Onix's heart. The girthy Pokemon roars in displeasure, uplodging sands from ages ago and forcing them to whirl about in a continuous hyperbole.

Blinded by the onset of the storm, Porcupo tries her luck with her next attack. Dashing forward, she figured the giant rock snake was just that, giant! A blind leap of faith and Onix watched her feet sail completely past him. However, she kicked again in her flight, actually catching Onix in the jaw! He reared his head back, and spat more raging Sand after her, entombing her quite tightly upon her landing. Porcupo utterly disagreed with this, as this actually hurt!

Entombed for the moment, Porcupo turned to look at Onix, but all she could see was sand. Not to mention the Sandstorm already blasting about. This was grating on her nerves. However, Onix's silhouette could be seen towering over the edges of the Sand Tomb, and Porcupo desperately spat a Water Pulse at it.

However, the silhouette disappeared, although a lot of rumbling could be heard. The pulse fell upon the top platform with a watery sploosh, and Onix was suddenly there to investigate it. He looked a bit more Polished this time around though, not so Rocky.

Ok lets try and get it captured again.
Start by using Dig (unless theres some freaky rule about the arena's being only about 2ft deep, in which case use Sand Tomb again) and then send a Rock tomb up through the floor.
Then come back up and if its captured, hit it with Dragonbreath. If not, use Earthquake.

Round 18

The battle rages on, as Onix and Porcupo fight for supremacy!

A mighty landing from her Double kick, Porcupo dives back into the fray, as Onix barrels his head toward the ground. However, by the time it takes for that giant rock snake to reach its head to the ground, it utterly forgot about how exactly it could do that. Looking to Porcupo, he sneered. That crafty woman did something to Disable him (don't all women?) He roared in irritation, but Porcupo was already on the move, jumping over the largest section of Onix...

Onix watched as this confounded blue demon hid under his largest section. Moving out of the way, Onix slammed his tail onto the ground, just as Nidorina gave out her own hearty roar. As soon as the ground began to upheave from the Rocks being called, they shadows of said rocks began to launch themselves upon Onix. Some were larger than others, but there were enough to pound the large serpent down to the ground for a moment. Nidorina laughed, but saw her predicament when a Stone slammed into her gut, allowing others to tightly entomb her.

Entombed AGAIN, Porcupo hastily tries to bash herself free. By the time she's able to get her front limbs free however, the ground begins to shake and jolt.

The motions cause her to feel very weak, but something forces her to continue on. With a little pained effort, Porcupo frees herself and still manages to jump to a platform. Onix spots her, and follows her pursuit, curious to see what she'll attempt. Onix's body rears up, until the highest platform is level with his head. Porcupo laughs as she jumps to that last platform, firing a deluge of water directly into Onix's eyes. He lurches back, body slamming into the ground again.

The Sandstorm subsided, but not before slashing Porcupo one last time.

Round 19

Encumbered with the strain of battle, Onix and Porcupo literally bump ethereal heads. Flexing their might about, Onix surprisingly shoots off a Dragonic blast of hot Breath at at Porcupo first?! Porcupo dives through the attack, firing a thick Ice Beam for the base of the rock snake, trying to freeze him in place.

As the Dragonbreath fizzled upon Porcupo's back, she feared the onset of paralysis. Yet, there was none! With that revelation, she snapped her head back, and then caught Onix wagging his tail around! The heck, she froze that to the ground! Before she could get a bead on it though, the tail was way across the arena.

Onix's shouldn't be fast she muttered and watched as that danged beast Tormented her aim. Finally she fired...nothing. Nothing at all. What kinda devilry was this?!

Well, maybe now...

As Porcupo silently made herself hoarse trying to to recall and release the icy blast of power that could have weakened Onix, a deluge of rocks began to rise up above her platform. Gravity took over once again, and soon she was bashed and battered by the tumultuous slide of tonnage. She bounced off the platform finally, utterly unconscious.

Round 20

The Hyrule stage appears, and the match speeds on! Onix dosen't even get a good look at his opponent before the blasted Ant dashes off, hastily charing up one fist with water to be shot like Gun, the other homing in on Onix's head! Jumping up to the top platform, Armored Ant waits a moment, spying Onix's apparent lag in catching where he went. Onix however-dosen't fret, focused metallic ore formed and released from its mouth!

Onix's apparent super speed gave it an added edge to fire that attack at Ant. Anticipating when Onix would fire, AA leapt in a totally different direction. However, Onix's added speed allowed him to change the direction of the attack just enough so it grazed the Ant as he let loose a strafing set of water bullets-effectively ending Onix's reign here.

Shaken by that Flashy attack, AA towered over what the Rock snake. That kinda evened the score, right?

Round 21

The sounds of the jungle echoes in the battlers' ears as they stand atop a set of platforms that slowly begin to rise. I however, step free of my digital Skybox and my har-erm massueses to delve into this stage.

Unlike the other stages, Rumble Falls seems to grow, and so I am just gonna hang at the bottom, as it rises. Heracross and AA seem to understand the predicament they have to worry about, and begin their battle.

Heracross flies to a platform to the left, forcing AA to run over towards him. The time it takes for AA to reach him allows Heracross time to gather energy and use it to secrete a thin layer of fluid that hardens his exoskeleton. AA dives for the platform, full on ready to Swipe, and then Falsely misses! Heracross raised his hands to block, but only watched as AA lost altitude......

Not taking any risks, Hera looks over the edge of the platform-only to get struck in the face by a set of Crossing pincers. Falling on his back, he wipes his face clean of the purple gook that seems to have been left behind by that ...Poisonous slash. AA lands on a platform higher up, and takes a moment to try and ascend a vine that has grown.

As the Waterfall roars, so does Heracross, bellowing for power to stop this fiend. Though the stage is rising below him, He takes the time to Focus his energy into a HUGE blast, that spirals upward, obliterating the vine that Armaldo is climbing. AA falls back, and then is skyrocketed up to safety by the blast.

He may be higher up than Hera, but he's definitely not in better shape. Hera opens his wings, and buzzes skyward, weaving to ensure he isn't caught like a sitting duck.

AA: -7E/-16H ==///== Heracross: -12E/-7H

As Heracross flies up, leaving the bottom of the Jungle Falls, he takes a pitstop on a rock jutting free of the waterfall. AA dosen't wait, and dives off of his lofty position, pincers aimed for Hera's chest. Hera takes the challenge and flies up directly at him.

Knowing full well what Heracross was trying to do, One pincer was tucked in, and Armaldo spiraled as he connected with the incoming Heracross. However, Hera aimed his flight so the claw Slashed over his horn and back, allowing the spurs of his horn to lock under AA's shoulder. Flinging his head up and performing a aerial loop, Armaldo was flung over Heracross; and sent spiraling down onto that same rock, smashing his back against it.

Heracross flew up to the platform AA one stood upon, and looked down at his competition, before flexing.

Round 22

Climbing as fast as an Ampibom, I barely pass Heracross's position, as he continues to flex and try to intimidate AA. AA dosen't take that lightly, and begins crossing his pincers, salivating slightly at the hurt he's about to put on Hera. Both Pokemon benefit from this tussle of taunts, each raising their own prowess.

AA: -5E +2 Atk==///== Heracross: -4E +1 Def & Atk

Lunging to the top of the stage for now, being a thin platform balancing on a rock at the top of the waterfall, I notice Heracross watching. AA jumps to grab a ladder, and scales it hurriedly, its Tail shining metallicaly. Before AA reclimbs the platform, he slams his tail through the base of the it, stabbing Hera in his lower midsection. Hera groans, but grabs his sides in pain. AA slams both hands onto the platform to hoist himself up, only to have Hera grab him by his arms, and back bend. AA found himself flung over Hera, and crashing on, and then back below the platform he so desperately tried to climb upon.

As he fell, Heracross pounded his chest, his way of telling AA that he feels no pain. AA stabs a vine as he falls, stopping his descent, he he tirelessly climbs back up from obscurity.

Seeing AA climbing back up, Heracross taunts his rival by merely flying up a bit higher. Crap now they're one level below me. AA is pissed, as he smashes through the platform he was vying for, now jumping to another vine and climbing that one to reach Hera. Hera however, flutters above the platform to avoid anymore surprise attacks like that. AA lands securely, allowing Hera to land before they start again.

Hera and AA dash at each other, the massive horn on the stag beetle glowing powerfully. AA proves to be a bit faster, and is able to hit Hera in his shoulder. Hera though locks his horn on AA's tail spurs, so when the Stone Edge forced Hera backwards, all he needed to do was whip his Horn around, and AA was suddenly snapped like a whip! He cried out as the Megahorn attack sent him sailing upward, leaving him to crash a few feet above me on a floating platform. Holy crap these two are vicious!

Round 23

As we (fianlly) continue this intense battle, Heracross seems to have the upper hand. But Double A's not out, as he emphatically slams his tail left and right in eager anticipation. As Hera hovers to the platform above my head where AA waits, a swift attack by AA leaves Hera to fly backwards and up. Grabbing a vine, Hera coughs viciously, as there's thick purple goop on his face.

Ticked now-the stag loses control and lands on the platform, ramming his horn into AA's gut, As AA doubles over, the stag beetle jumps on his back and starts pounding his fists and feet into AA-trampling him. AA barely rolls out, but Hera finished his CqC by super kicking Armaldo off the platform!

O SNAP! :ives for cover as Armaldo falls and obliterates the platform where DL once stood.::

The injured bug would have fell prey to the waterfall, had he not barely grabbed a vine. Hera though, looks a bit off kilter...maybe his guard is down by using that attack.

AA: -7E/-14H ==///== Heracross: -11E/-10H -1 Def & Sp Def

Proving to be a match for his insect rival, AA quickly comes to his senses, and climbs up hurriedly. Passing by both me and Hera, he seems to be eyeing the end of the beanstalk! Reaching it, he is greeted by Heracross flying up to him at full speed.

A coy grin comes over AA, and he jumps up to recieve Heracross's seemingly innocent Aerial Tackle. Bending in midair, AA avoids the scimitar like horn, and slices the flying beetle as he falls past. ..

Or that was the plan, but Hera read that move perfectly. Grabbing that one raised claw of AA's, the rocky trilobitic bug found himself suddenly flung skyward, past the bean stalk, breaking through the bottom of a STONE platform. He landed on it, and shook off the shocking hit.

Hera flew up to the platform, but faltered in his flying. Barely grabbing the platform, he struggled to climb upon it. AA gladly laughed, and directed Hera's attention above. Those Stone platforms began to crumble under AA's will, and Hera's glare turned from confusion to pure terror.

The Rocks began to Tumble and Slide from their floating position, barreling down upon the edge of that platform. Hera cried out in pain as he fell down suddenly was bashed down by a few choice Sliding Rocks. As Hera fell, bashed over and over by all the stone, he remembered his last command, and attempted it.

Wings fluttered-still operable, and he began to jump and Smash his way back up. AA watched in pure fear, would that crazy ass bug make it?!?!

A large stone was broken by Hera as he flew through its debris, shooting straight for the platform. Horn flung two more Stones aside, as his left fist still had enough energy to break that platform. AA realized he trapped himself on the platform, and hurriedly tried to find somewhere to jump to should Hera break the platform he was standing on.

Hera reached his target and drilled his fist through that platform, sending AA flying upward. AA prayed as he sailed, and barely (and I MEAN fricking BARELY!) stabbed his pincer in the very base of the higher platform he would not have reached by solely jumping. Stabbing his other pincer in, he was now fully suspended by his claws. Akin to a mountain climber on the underside of a cliff, he slowly stabbed his way along the bottom of the platform, before swinging hard enough to slam his tail on the top side.

A few flexes, and a spinning flip later, AA was safe on a platform once more. Immediately, he turned to see if that crazy bug was after him, but he saw nothing but a few rocks falling to the waterfall, and the top of the beanstalk a ways down....

Enraged by AA's successful Rock Slide, he beats his battered wings as hard as they'll allow to close that gap between them. AA merely slits his eyes; upset that Rock Slide didn't finish Hera off. Standing back from the edge, AA waits only a moment or two before a blue blur whizzes up and halts its ascent. Staring down at the Rock/Bug, Hera tightens his fists, spitting what seems to be the effects of that poison off to the side. AA slams his tail down on the stone dias, as to say "Come bring it, bitch!"

U gotta pay more attention DL, this should be my turn to attack. Blade went first last round. (You also said Hera took way more damage during the round it used counter etc....if that isnt a Mistake i dunno how such a powerfull fighting attack doesnt do more than 9 damage to a part rock type)

O.o UC. Armaldo is Rock/Bug . That Bug half really screws you up with Fighting moves..

1) That means any fighting move does standard damage.
2) Counter is not powerful as it should be in ASB. The last time Hera used Counter, it Countered Slash, not Aerial Ace-which Hera is 4x weak to.
3) Even with the boost in attack from Bulk Up, Counter would only deal out the Same damage Aerial Ace would do if Hera hit Armaldo.

That works out to 5 damage + Stab + +1 Atk = 9 .

That's why I hate Counter in ASB.-Armaldo should have been shattered like a candy cane in winter. Trust me, I took all the calculations into account.

However, yes its your turn. I'm gonna change that right now. You go, disregard Blade's attack, and lets continue.

And heres me thinking counter had a sepcial ability of doubling damage received before taking calculations like that in to account.

Right well, despite the probelms with it if he goes on the quick offensive use Endure+Reversal combo to take the first attack and give it back. If your both still standing just use Protect.
If he tries buffing use Focus Blast.
