Two hours ago, a woman got into a fight with another man in her car on I 30 in Dallas. Apparently after letting the man off at a Gas Station, she pulled over to the bridge, and threw her two children off onto the high way twenty feet below, and then jumped herself. It is a miracle her children weren't hit by cars and are in good condition. The woman on the other hand is in critical condition.

Nowadays in the UK, any woman wanting her 15 minutes of fame can just claim they were raped by a football star and face no consequences for their actions. While this football star went through 3 months of hell, facing police intrusion and investigation in his life while the press had a field day besmirching his otherwise good name, the liar doesn't even get named in the press or even prosecuted for wasting police time.

If the world wasn't run by imbeciles, women (and perhaps men) should be subjected to full DNA-testing of their person before any arrest is made, and if it turns out to be bullshit, the accuser ought to be pilloried in the press as a liar and be prosecuted and fined for their lies. Until there are real consequences for such life-ruining lies that can even lead to suicide, then this culture of kowtowing to liars in order to pillory innocent people will never stop. I'm sure liars will be less willing to lie if they are subjected to such intrusive measures and the risk of being publicly outed as a liar.

Anyway, now a particular brand of cakes has been mistakenly labelled as biscuits for 20 years, thus the UK has been wrongfully earning 20 years worth of tax on these cakes, and is now being forced to pay it back.

You people are well crazy. That cat thing, I'm sure some jaffas in Auckland would pay for that coffee. I just find coffee so pretentious the way some people act. Instant coffee is so horrible and blah blah blah. Whoops, I knew I'd get mixed up in all this talk of tea-time treats. I meant biscuits are taxed (normal goods) whereas cakes are not taxed, as they are luxury goods, which usually are exempt from the full-rate of VAT and sometimes are VAT-free.

I don't think putting down dogs or anything if they are sick is mean, I believe it is ok to raise animals and be friendly to them and them have them as a food source. I don't think fur is wrong, unless it is taken from certain animals. I don't think testing on rats is necessarily mean but when it comes to dogs and cats I usually don't like it. But this story does upset me because it just seems so unnecessarily, especially when you have vets who are meant to be better than this stuff and yet thats what they're doing. You don't see nurses and doctors operating on humans then killing them, I doubt that they are even operated when dead. So this story I just find upsetting.

This makes me so angry. Why not study under a vet, and observe ACTUAL surgeries of animals that are brought in, maybe getting in a scalpel slice or two after observing for an amount of time, working their way up? Anesthetizing animals before euthanizing isn't really inhumane, (but treating "rows of cages" like desk drawers of office supplies certainly is) but it just doesn't make sense! Recovery and observation is a very important concept to learn in vet school as well!

The word "practice" should never precede the word "surgery."
