The rules of Fortunately, Unfortunately are pretty simple. Just continue the story with two statements. The first should start with "Unfortunately" and the second should start with "Fortunately". Here's an example of how it might work.


Unfortunately, everyone in the world became evil!

Fortunately, the evil people learned to live in peace.



Get the idea? Just continue the story, from post to post. It can go in wild and crazy directions, so be ready for some hilarity!

Unfortunately, the monkey misread it as ab staining so they decided to stain people's abs.

Fortunately, a wise scholar was able to teach them the real meaning of abstaining before they could cause any more harm.

Unfortunately, one of the students a girl with a huge crush on the teacher untied him.

Fortunately, the police knew how to properly handle the situation

Unfortunately, the other students were dealing with the band "The Police" instead of real police officers.

Fortunately, the band had everything they needed to help with the situation.

Unfortunately, one of the students accidentially broke the band's magical instruments.
